- Welcome to the former capital of Kazakstan! Today I am exploring Kazakhstan's most picturesque city of Almaty. Surrounded by Zailiyskiy Alatau Mountain range, Almaty is the cultural and economic hub of Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 . Today I am going to be exploring all of the historical sites - the beautiful Russian Orthodox churches, the countless urban parks found throughout the city and the famous Green Bazaar! I will also try some of the local cuisine of Kazakhstan as I wonder the streets of Almaty 🇰🇿.

When I saw the mountain ranges, my mind went right to Grand Teton. To live in a place, where you can look up and see mountains in every view reminds me of Salt Lake City. I love how you are respectful of all faiths and people from all walks of life.
I am actually setting out on a roadtrip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone and many other places next week - very exciting!
Salt Lake City is my favorite airport to fly into, the BEST views!
@@LukeGeeTravels SLC is such a cool city to fly into and starting a travel adventure. I love that the car rental garage is onsite so I can jump in my car , hit In & Out Burger on the way out of town.

Another beautiful presentation, Luke! First time I've seen you dislike a food or drink with the Horse Milk! Very sour, you said. Is it more sour than goat milk?
I don’t think I’ve had goat milk before, only feta cheese. This was just sour beyond what words can describe.. did it, will not try it again😅
