I bought this unit. I used it in my living room. After 5 minutes it turned my living room into a solid block of ICE. My wife was stuck in the ice and my dog was solidly frozen. I had to call for emergency assistance to defrost my living room and get my dog out of the ice. I also have some ocean front property In New Mexico if you are interested, for a very reasonable price.

Talk to your bank, I didnt buy one myself(thank god) but I seen many reviews that said they reported this scam to the bank and got their money back like a few days later(even faster then the product).

@Tim J No prob man and it's totally understandable as we all make mistakes. #1 rule is not to buy new product until you do your research first, thing is...I was going to buy o e of those but my friend got ahead of me and ordered 1 but turns out that it never arrived! I decided to do my research on this and well..you know the rest. My friend got her money back in a week or so because the bank did an investigation towards the company for fraud!
@Tim J Sadly the BBB takes cases like these and take their time. It's better to take matters into your own hand and not wait for the BBB to act by calling your bank to report them as fraud. I'm sure your bank will act faster then the BBB by putting the money right back into your acc. They charge for shipping because they know their product sucks! So skip the call to the BBB and report this fraud to your bank and let someone else besides you worry about this bs product!

From experiences for falling for novelty products, so glad I found this review. Learnt my lesson, always ALWAYS check reviews on anything your going to buy. The problem with new companies is, they market well but can't keep up with demand and the quality drops. They should start in the small local market, then go Nationa/international just to get the feel of how orders need to be met, how to handle returns, questions and complaints, because by the time they reach massive market revenue with all the cheddar, they don't give a rats ass about you and customers end up making videos on everything they did wrong.

Hi Alex, i ordered 3 and finally receiced 7 weeks later...mine is different from yours as it has an ice tray to insert behind the filter...i must admit it works for what i wanted...2 units on my nightstands so i can turn thermostst up at night.. i leave plugged in, so do dont know about the charging part, but will check that out today. They was quick to take my $89.00 for the unit plus I purchased additional water curtain that was an additional $15.00. I asked them where is my product? I was told by the female representative “ I am sorry we have a lot of back orders & I should receive it by early September”. I told her I did not want to wait any longer & refund my money. Now she tells me I should receive it by the end this week. Today I receive this cheap crap. First of all it is not even the same unit you have. I was sent a black & white box with a fan attached to the back. It has a water bottle that must be filled & screw into place. This does not have rounded corners. Also it feels extremely cheap. I am afraid to test this because my anger will intensify. I blame myself for not looking into this before I bought this piece of trash. I looked into this one month after I purchased this. Also be aware I was also told once I receive the item I can not get my money back. I wanted this for my desk in the office because I am a middle age woman going through some changes & thought this would help a little. I normally look into things before I make a purchase. Shame on me for not doing just that......

I am a civil engineer, technician and a scientist. It does not matter who makes these things, simple evaporated cooling on that scale will not cool a medium size room and it will only (marginally) work in a low humidity environment. It will only take air temperature down to dewpoint (wet bulb) level. In most cases somewhere around 80° or higher. You will eventually end up with a hot, humid room.
I had much the same experience concerning customer service and shipping. They advertise for "hot summer" and ordering at the end of June, with a stated shipping time of two weeks, I began calling, emailing and talking to the "pop up" chat customer service reps on-line after about 3 weeks. They promise an immediate email with your order info, which I receieved... to be followed by a shipping email with tracking number which I never received. Embarrassingly, I had ordered 3 of these units and 3 extra curtains. 2 as gifts for family. I did finally receive my 3 units, never receiving the shipping email, after almost 2 months. Where I live, we have a very short summer, so receiving this close to September almost didn't give me any time to use it! However, I would like to tell about the product itself. I think it is imperative that people understand that this is not a cooler for an entire room. I use it on my night stand as it is most important for me to be able to sleep in the cooler air, and mine DOES work fabulously for that. I use crushed ice to fill the reservoir at the top (mine looks exactly the same as the one in this video) then I fill in with cold water between the pieces of ice to completely fill the reservoir. It does last for about 8 hours, and I have to monitor the setting as it actually does get too cold to sit or sleep by. My room is also the hottest room in the house. People comment when they walk in that its like hitting an invisible barrier of hot air. I have left the cooler on and when not in my room and came back to a room that seemed equal in temp with the rest of the house. Not cool, but it had helped the stifling hot situation. So, overall, I am satisfied and got what I expected from the product, but absolutely the worst customer service and shipping I have ever experienced. It is important, not to let the buttons on top get wet...so keep that in mind, and I am also well aware, that I have 2 units that I have not even used as I was waiting to for us to move into our new home before offering them as no one else has the hot room that I have. So, in one out of 3 units, I have had no problems with its function, but I do have 2 more to try.

Its funny how they say on thier Facebook page that Blaux is not available on eBay or Amazon but I actually found it on ebay, which is more trusted than thier Facebook page but still won't buy it, there is another video of a person testing how cool this thing gets and he proved that it doesn't cool at all, its an Air cooler not an Air conditioner, if it uses water, and air conditioner doesn't need to be filled with water, not sure if its made in USA or China, but on ebay its getting shipped from USA, thanks for the video, I was just about to buy it not any more 👍

If you rip a window AC apart, you will see some coils and a compressor. the compressor moves refrigerant around, it grabs heat from the room and moves it outside to put it simple. This thing is essentialy just a humidifier.

It’s made for a small personal space not a office or a Room ! Depending on what model you got you’re supposed to freeze the curtain or a sponge inside the unit until frozen then it will blow the air from the frozen curtain or a sponge and the water. The red light on the top of yours is red so the battery is low or dead !
Don't even think about buying...they ripped me off , refused to ship to me or refund my money. Every time I talked to them they give me different story

It's good it conked off. Trust me all it would do in your closed room is increase the humidity. Being from India I can tell you this thing will work best if it gets fresh outside air from outside. Where as this thing if kept in the room will slowly increase the humidity of the room and eventually will start recirculating humid air. In short you will sweat unlimited 😉

By the time I received it, summer was nearly over. I read the instructions carefully and tried it out recently and it doesn't work, so I went on Amazon and bought 2 fans so that we can use our new A/C only when really needed. (Electric costs will climb this summer.) Blaux has been a disappointing experience and their ads certainly give you high hopes, but in the end you want to kick yourself for believing the hype. Can you recommend any good quality fans/coolers that are far superior to Blaux? I'll consider for the future ...
i personally saw an ad opening the browser on google, i ordered it 3-4 months ago, only this week on october i recived it, right now it is okay for a small room, but i don't know how it will be a few weeks or month from now, right now it dosent die, and that is after the postal worker dropped it on the floor, i think if it keep working then it could be a case that they don't do quality control and some end up defective, wich could happen anywhere. i am not saying anything on the video is wrong, just my personal experience is diffrent to what you have described wich the product is currently working, unless it had worked a few days for you then stopped working for whatever reason.

actually works for me lol. i put some ice cubes in the water tray part with water and it cools me down just need to place it close to you on your desk or floor.

I got a Blaux AC ad to the right of this video (heh). Also I did once get a cheaper generic unit in which the fan stopped spinning & started to emit a burning smell. I'd be wary of buying anything like this especially if they end up burning themselves out...

The built in battery was defective, it just wont charge anymore. Its better if they didnt put cheap battery on it and have it powered directly by usb powerbrick or powerbank.
Maybe try to add salt into the reservoir tank as I do with my humidifier when it stops spewing out the water mist because the water is too hard to come through the system and be pushed out through the small fans, just a thought don’t know if it’ll work but came to my mind good luck

Thanks for the review. When will I learn to do this research BEFORE I buy! These "fans" are pure junk. Lots of work to use (mine require frozen water in little ice trays) and won't charge. Will only run while plugged into an electrical outlet. The slight breeze that is emitted wouldn't cool a doll house. "Easy returns" are a joke. You have to search to find the answers as to where and how. And you have to pay to send them back. I'm sending them out of principle and because I was stupid enough to buy three!

My name is Bobby Blaux. This is a great product that I think your bashing unfairly. My product takes air and recycles it as cool refreshing air. It has three modes of cooling, lightweight and right now 50% off the price so act now before they are all gone. Personally I believe you’re using it wrong and just wanted to see how many people made it this far.
All the evaporative coolers I tried were a waste of money. They weren’t any better than a fan. This Blaux one just takes up less space, but still useless if you actually lower the temperature. There’s no alternative to aircons, even a portable one is better than this.
Took 8 weeks to come and working fine. you have to soak the water curtain to get the maximum cooling. The humidifier works great also. Runs 8 hrs. on one full charge and continuously when plugged into the computer of electrical outlet. Very quiet on all 3 speeds. Sitting 3 feet away you can still feel the cool air blowing. Not too effective in the car, my only disappointment. It is much better than the Arctic Air. The Arctic Air is noisy, does not blow cooler or stronger. The Arctic Air does not have a rechargeable battery so it is less portable. Satisfied with the units I bought.
Dam I guess I kinda lucked out mine showed up 2 weeks after I ordered it. It works just not as good as they said it would on the infamercial. It has kept me cool, but hasn't done shit as far as keeping my room cool. I definitely would not sagest buying this product. Better off building your own.

Tried that, tried letting it charge, tried different cables. This things simply doesn't work. :-(
There's one in my household and I don't really mind it it's usually blowing particularly cool air.
Oh no! I just bought two of them. They haven't shipped yet. I'm going to raise hell if they won't cancel my order and give me a refund. I feel so stupid for not researching first.
Steven Alves don’t feel stupid because at least you can get your money back, spread the word that it’s a scam! Even the young boy that came up with the invention on Facebook is a scam!!
It’s made for a small personal space not a office or a Room ! Depending on what model you got you’re supposed to freeze the curtain or a sponge inside the unit until frozen then it will blow the air from the frozen curtain or a sponge and the water. The red light on the top of yours is red so the battery is low or dead !

Don't even think about buying...they ripped me off , refused to ship to

Talk to your bank, I didnt buy one myself(thank god) but I seen many reviews that said they reported this scam to the bank and got their money back like a few days later(even faster then the product).
I got it. Blaux worked very well.
The biggest scam is the money refund as long as the BOX IS UNOPENED. What a bunch of scumbags. People need to share this to every social media platform. Share & care.
It's good it conked off. Trust me all it would do in your closed room is increase the humidity. Being from India I can tell you this thing will work best if it gets fresh outside air from outside.
Where as this thing if kept in the room will slowly increase the humidity of the room and eventually will start recirculating humid air. In short you will sweat unlimited 😉
Thank you Alex. We appreciate you for your excellent video. I'll never buy from this company again. I waited a long time for my Blaux "classic" AC last summer. By the time I received it, summer was nearly over. I read the instructions carefully and tried it out recently and it doesn't work, so I went on Amazon and bought 2 fans so that we can use our new A/C only when really needed. (Electric costs will climb this summer.) Blaux has been a disappointing experience and their ads certainly give you high hopes, but in the end you want to kick yourself for believing the hype. Can you recommend any good quality fans/coolers that are far superior to Blaux? I'll consider for the future ...
i personally saw an ad opening the browser on google, i ordered it 3-4 months ago, only this week on october i recived it, right now it is okay for a small room, but i don't know how it will be a few weeks or month from now, right now it dosent die, and that is after the postal worker dropped it on the floor, i think if it keep working then it could be a case that they don't do quality control and some end up defective, wich could happen anywhere.
i am not saying anything on the video is wrong, just my personal experience is diffrent to what you have described wich the product is currently working, unless it had worked a few days for you then stopped working for whatever reason.

actually works for me lol. i put some ice cubes in the water tray part with water and it cools me down just need to place it close to you on your desk or floor.

I got a Blaux AC ad to the right of this video (heh). Also I did once get a cheaper generic unit in which the fan stopped spinning & started to emit a burning smell. I'd be wary of buying anything like this especially if they end up burning themselves out...
Same happened to me. Ordered in June and just got it (Sept) after contacting them. Thing worked for a few hours but stopped. Very unhappy.

The built in battery was defective, it just wont charge anymore. Its better if they didnt put cheap battery on it and have it powered directly by usb powerbrick or powerbank.

Maybe try to add salt into the reservoir tank as I do with my humidifier when it stops spewing out the water mist because the water is too hard to come through the system and be pushed out through the small fans, just a thought don’t know if it’ll work but came to my mind good luck

They got over on me for $190 by calling their company Blast Auxilliary AC but the box says Blaux.

Thanks for the review. When will I learn to do this research BEFORE I buy! These "fans" are pure junk. Lots of work to use (mine require frozen water in little ice trays) and won't charge. Will only run while plugged into an electrical outlet. The slight breeze that is emitted wouldn't cool a doll house.
"Easy returns" are a joke. You have to search to find the answers as to where and how. And you have to pay to send them back. I'm sending them out of principle and because I was stupid enough to buy three!
Be carefull to pay 89.99$-129$ or over , the product is being drop-shipping from Hong Kong with the price of 19.99USD$,its not more than water sponge and a fan that gives room temperture.

Who can recommend one that does work and is legit?
All the evaporative coolers I tried were a waste of money. They weren’t any better than a fan. This Blaux one just takes up less space, but still useless if you actually lower the temperature. There’s no alternative to aircons, even a portable one is better than this.

The AC stands for air cooler not air conditioner
Took 8 weeks to come and working fine. you have to soak the water curtain to get the maximum cooling. The humidifier works great also. Runs 8 hrs. on one full charge and continuously when plugged into the computer of electrical outlet. Very quiet on all 3 speeds. Sitting 3 feet away you can still feel the cool air blowing. Not too effective in the car, my only disappointment. It is much better than the Arctic Air. The Arctic Air is noisy, does not blow cooler or stronger. The Arctic Air does not have a rechargeable battery so it is less portable. Satisfied with the units I bought.

Dam I guess I kinda lucked out mine showed up 2 weeks after I ordered it. It works just not as good as they said it would on the infamercial. It has kept me cool, but hasn't done shit as far as keeping my room cool. I definitely would not sagest buying this product. Better off building your own.
