I wet the curtain with water and put it in the freezer. I just added ice cubes to the unit without the curtain. It’s blowing cooler air than a fan but you definitely need to add ice frequently.

You suppose to freeze the inner cell first, makes it a lot more cooler. I use it in my truck when I'm park for lunch. I always order an extra cup of ice for this unit and it works great. Thx for sharing

Good review, but could have been done in 3 minutes. Lots of pausing and thinking. Get to the point, please.

I don’t think you should have gone faster especially for someone seeing this for the first time. I guess my question is can you add half water and half ice or all ice? I hope to get an answer. I just purchased two of these and we’re supposed to get a 2 to 3 day heat wave and I want to be prepared. Thank you for posting this video I really appreciate it.

You can add both. At least I have. All I have taken the center filter out and wet it and froze it as well as added ice. In addition used water. Hope this helps.

The review was good I personally own this same unit. The Blau is a portable evaporative cooling fan. It does not produce AC air conditioner cooling. It uses gravity fed water which floods the bottom inside which gets absorbed by a water absorption curtain WICK. To improve cooling effect they advise you to add ice in between the water curtain internal space. The cold air that is produced is best felt right in front of the unit. The 3 speed fan is weak. The water bottle feeder doesn't release the water properly I had to lift it slightly to get the water to flow out to flood the internal floor. This unit may work better in cooler regions not here in Hawaii. If using indoors in a well ventilated room it kind of works but again only cool in front of the unit. The build quality is surprisingly good I was impressed it looks well made for a plastic box. I feel the high price reflects more on the stylish looks than what the unit claims to be.

Video way too slow...you need to know the product before making the video. The only reason I watched it to the end is because the one I got stopped working after just a few uses. I thought I might find something useful to address the issue with your videoI. t is impossible to try to get hold of anyone at Blaux.

It helps but yes it is not a room cooler. Just takes the edge off.

I never understood these little machines & why people don’t just buy a reliable fan that will cool the entire room & not have to fool with water & ice for these cheap little machines… 🤷🏻‍♀️

Unfortunately bought last summer. They are way too expense for being a "cheap fan". I have $20 fans that work better than this.
