I am going to make this for a dear neighbor of mine that moved away recently. Her doggy, Khloe, is still with her but I know she will love this along with some other beaded jewelry I will include.
wow. I was trying to follow and bead along, but this is not as easy as it looks - at least for me it isn't. I will have to watch the video a few more times and keep trying ... thanks for posting.
I love this! Your brick stitch is easy to follow, your video is fantastic. I'm saving this video so I can try make these. Thank you 👍👍 Oh,..Have a great day!!
Wow, it is a very detailed tutorial! Many thanks for generously sharing your skill and the step-by-step guidance. I am sure so many would benefit from your lesson. All the best and good luck to you!
Thank you so much!! 🥰 Yes! I tried not to skip some details from the whole process. The pattern is a bit tricky. I already sped up some of the clips just to make it shorter and still, It lasted more than 24 minutes. 😅 I just hope anyone who wants to learn the basics of beadweaving will find this video helpful. 💕
Beautiful pattern. The only issue i have is using the right thread and needle. How can you pass thru the 11/0 beads multiple times with a 10 or 12 needle, especially the 10? Thread- ive tried .005 and .006 diameter the .005 breaks .006 breaks or frays. .005 i can get thru the eye of a 12 needle but .006 it's alot of work just to thread the needle. Any hints, tips, tricks or suggestions? I want these so bad. Lol i get halfway and thread gets frayed or breaks.
Hi, Darla. I’m using TOHO 11/0 sead beads here and they have bigger holes than any other beads. Fireline I think is the best brand of beading thread (although it’s a fishing line) there is. When threading a needle make sure to flatten the end of the thread with the nose plier to make it narrow and that should be able to go through the needle eye.
Hi Arabella (beautiful name) thank you so much for reply. I'm still new to all this beading stuff. I'm realizing just because the beads say same size (11/0, 10/0 etc..) Doesn't mean the hole is same size. Lol thanks again.
@@darlagary5684 That’s totally ok, Darla. When I was just starting to bead I have no idea what I was doing. 😅 But as the saying goes, practice makes perfect! Just keep beading. 💕😊
I use 6lb clear monifilament fishing line with other projects but with brick stitch, Fireline is best to use. It is flexible not stiff. What size of fishing line do you have?
