I just wanted to say that your video and instructions for making these beautiful earrings was fabulous! I have watched quite a number of videos on beaded earrings but I must say that yours is definitely one of the best! Your instructions are clear, your voice is well modulated and easy to understand and the way you hold your items to the camera allows us to see clearly what you are doing while giving the instructions. Thank you so much for sharing your expertise and your time to help those wanting to learn this beautiful craft/art form. 😊
Just watched this video and must tell you how impressed I am with your skills & presentation! You are professional & don't try to dazzle/distract us with crazy nails (length/color). Very clear instructions. Love this design! Keep up the awesome work! ❤
Very well explained, thank you 😊. I have been on a brick stitch binge lately. Don't have these size hoops but I have wire so will make my own in different sizes. This design seems very popular at the moment. 💖💗💞
Gorgeous design and excellent teaching on your tutorial. Plus, I appreciate the great camera work too. It was very easy to follow your instructions. Thank you so much for sharing! I’m a new subscriber to your channel now!
lovely earring and excellent tutorial! Worlds above most, clear, detailed, showing what we need to see with the extra advice needed for perfectly finished project, thank you! I'm looking at that magic eye ring, adding that to the list of things I want for myself, thank you... thanks for the advice on Fireline... one Q, do you have the gauge of the earwire?
There are many styles and tutorials out there and my eye keeps going back to these beauties. You are very clear in your explanation. Other than glue spots on ends , do you use a coating over the whole piece to make it unbendable? Some people use clear nail hardener. Any thoughts??
Sometimes I use mod podge to stiffen my work. I have a video where I test out different stiffening mediums. Here’s the link if you would like to check it out. ua-cam.com/video/LZK2i9-ORDw/v-deo.htmlsi=NtU4dRUGBk61qVxr
I will definitely try these! Great instructional video. I was wondering if you started on the back of the earring instead of the front would the top beads not lining up not be as noticeable? I couldn't really see the top of the front, so maybe it isn't noticeable all that much.
It isn't very noticeable. Both the front and the back are slightly off because you can't line the beads up precisely because you need to bring your needle through to either side of the original thread.
These are just so lovely! I love the colors. They must show up so nicely on your ears!! Just a question on using those hoops: are they easy to put onto your ears? I do have those hoops but I have avoided using them as I thought they were difficult to put into my ears and then put the metal hook part into that little hole at the back… If you get what I mean??
Hello there.....i have 2 questions: 1. What gauge wire are the hoops made from? 2. I used 4 lb. Fireline and really good tension, but still feel the final product is a bit floppy; which stiffening agent would you recomment? Modge Podge glossy or matte? 3. What weight micro fused fireline would you recommend in order to make final product stiffer? * your tutorials are wonderful! Such clearvexplabations, perfect pacing, and beautiful projects!!!! Thsnk you soooooo much!
Hi, The hoops are 21 gauge gold fill and the fireline is 6lb weight. If you are using mod lodge for stiffening, it doesn't really matter if it is matte or glossy because ideally, you want to work it into the work so that it is on the thread and not the beads. You can wipe it off of the beads with a damp cloth so that it is just on the string.
Ahh, it’s tricky with this one but you can anchor the thread in the beadwork you have already completed by weaving back and forth to create enough tension that you can’t pull the thread out.
So cute. Where do you buy premade beading hoops? What material is best that won’t corrode or cause allergic reaction or irritation. Can I make those myself they look awfully simple?
I buy them at a store here in the UK called Curious Gem but you can find them at any good jewelry supply store. I use either sterling silver or 14kt gold filled (not plated) which are obviously more expensive but you won’t have any allergy problems. You could definitely make them yourself with wire.
How do you wear earrings with ends like that? Do they go in your ears easy or is it hard to get them in since the one end is a 90 degree bend? Thanks for the info!
Your video is perfect, but I don't speak English! Can you just tell me how many beads you put on the 1st row? Is it important to have an even or odd number of beads? THANKS !
The first row on the metal hoop needs to be an uneven number. She added 35. But the next rows on top of the first row will be even numbers. She also said that depending on your hoop size you might need more or less beads in that first row. Thank you Darcy 🤓 I love how you created a wide hoop. So beautiful. Big hugs from Nova Scotia 🐿️
Thank so much. I’m so glad you enjoyed it. ✨
Thank you, I will try it sometime today after my project. ❤
I learned how to tie a square knot in St. John Ambulance Cadets when I was a teenager. It’s great for tying bandages!
Yes! I learned in Girl Scouts 😀
absolutely beautiful. I feel so accomplished since I flatten my thread the same way
Haha! Love it.
Stunning earrings, will definitely try this design ❤
Thanks so much!

Thank you so much for the kind words 😊 The earring hoop is 21 gauge.

Merci beaucoup pour ce tuto très bien expliqué 😍👍
pliers you can use to get the thread inside the needle, by pressing it down. it'll flaten
Yes you can do that too but I find my finger nails work just as well.
These are just so lovely! I love the colors. They must show up so nicely on your ears!!

I know what you mean but I haven’t ever had any problems with these hoops. You could always use the same technique on a hoop with a different closure.
@@snailsandfairydust Thanks, I’ll give those hoops a try and get over my _fear._

What size needle to you use and where do you get them? The 15/0 beads are very small and get stuck on my needle .
I use size 12 John James beading needles. You should be able to find them in any beading store or on Amazon.
How do you add more fireline if you run out mid project?
Ahh, it’s tricky with this one but you can anchor the thread in the beadwork you have already completed by weaving back and forth to create enough tension that you can’t pull the thread out.

Good morning ❤
Are they easy to put into your ear? I have trouble with the bent ends of shepherd hooks.
I’ve never had a problem with them.
How do you wear earrings with ends like that? Do they go in your ears easy or is it hard to get them in since the one end is a 90 degree bend? Thanks for the info!
You don't really feel the bend because the wire it thin. Even my 14 year old daughter wears these hoops with no problem.
Very sweet 😍
Thank you 😊
Hermosos💚💚💚💚💚👍👍👍👍👍
Thank you so much !!!
But how do you put the hook on??
There's no hook it just goes thru your ear.
Hi,are the Aiko beads delicas?
Hi I saw at the end my question was answered. I love all your tutorials. Thank you.
Thank you! Happy Beading 😀
❤ it Beautiful
Cannot get the other side. I had one side made and kept tangling in the thread on the second side
Sorry you had trouble. Miyuki beading thread is very helpful because it doesn’t tangle easily.
