- 2022 EP11: In this EPF video, I go back to Lake Luxembourg in Bucks County, PA, to catch "the one" that got away. Alas...as always, some WILD THINGS end up happening. 😅 Yeah, Ladies and Gentlemen -- you really CANNOT MAKE THAT UP...!!!

👱🏻♀️...In eleven years of fishing Lake Luxembourg and Core Creek, I have only SEEN one other gigantic White Crappie (Pomoxis annularis) emerge from the depths of it. The fish was about 14-15" long -- caught under the Core Creek spillway. Sadly, the gentleman who caught it did not put that fish back.
👱🏻♀️...Lake Luxembourg is no longer getting stocked with Trout starting in 2022. The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission is dropping it like they dropped Neshaminy Creek last year, due to "Fish Consumption" concerns.
👱🏻♀️...Originally, I wanted to schedule two fishing videos before I left for my personal international trip -- this one being 1/2. That being said, I wasn't able to do so; therefore, the next video on the Channel is dropping on the 6th of April. Sorry, folks...😥

6 days until opening season. I’ll be at Merry Place in Havertown. If you never been there, I suggest you do. Many species that need to be assessed. I’ve got 8 from there so far.

Paper mouths getting off the hook. It happens. If you end up down in Virginia Beach area, hit me up. I grew up on a lake with BBC's (Big Black Crappie). Landed a 1.26 and 1.72 lb Crappie this year so far. 78 fish so far, not counting or anything.

Happened to me once Leo. A Pickerel broke me off on a wacky rigged Senko. I caught him a short while later and he had the other Senko in his mouth. Good luck with the ladies, they shouldn’t resist if you give them a Whats up ladiesssssssss! 🤣😂

love the vids, you really should have a million subs, so much to learn here. Question, I usually stick with the palomar knot, it seems way easier than the one you did...Why do you prefer the one you did over the palomar? Also, I'm sure you know this, but I wet the line with saliva before tightening as to not burn the plastic....Does that not matter with the knot you tied? Thanks! Oh I just was reminded, I caught my first crappie ever this year in San Diego, a white crappie at 16" 1.80lbs on an ewg worm, it was awesome!!! Greedy trout haha
Im so glad I'm not doing opening day. If all that water isn't being stocked it means my usually crowded spot will be more crowded. I'll do muskie in the morning and maybe trout in the afternoon. The ignorance of people on opening day is disgusting

What an aggressive trout! He was solidly hooked the first time, when he broke off. Then he had a jig in his lip... and still he ate! I would have expected him to sulk and stop eating for a whole day or more

Bensalem police ruined my time trying to fish there at core creek park. Never going back ever again someone was parked back there and immediately left when I got there I guess they were scared of us for some reason and they must’ve called the cops cause they showed up right as we set up our rods

Damn Leo, I once lost a 16-17 inch crappie here in New Jersey, he bit like 3 times but each time he got off. Then later that season I lost a good 14-15 inch crappie, I brought him all the way to the bank and he got off as soon as I was gonna grab him. Also, I remember that story from the live 😂, can’t get distracted while fishing. I lost a pike yesterday because of a bad hook set but, I caught him later on a shiner. It was my second pike ever, I’d appreciate if you could check out the video I made, I know your busy rn tho
Edit: I just saw the trout part. That’s absolutely insane, it’s happened to me once or twice where I catch two fish in the same day but and it’s absolutely insane
