I am amazed that a guy with a,sawmill buys stickers. They are easy to make on the sawmill or sawing off cuts on a table saw. I've made a thousand of em. 1x1s
Good Morning Nathan. Those bikes are huge in our area. They are very empowering to people who can't quite exert enough to ride for quite a while. They find they can travel on the bike trails for much longer distances, etc. Most people have seen are not replacing their cars but getting out and about where they could not really do so before (older folks and heavier people, etc.) It's been fun to see their excitement.
Here in Detroit they have put places all over with scooters and or bikes for rent, even in the suburbs. For those of you who don't know, Detroit is back. Thanks for the amazing videos. Happy new year!!!!
Funny you mention how busy your local Chickfila is. Same in my town up here in Mass. In fact they have a dual drive through and no matter what that line is out onto the road some 20 or so cars back anytime I drive past. That was a nice bin of man glitter right there! Merry Christmas Nathan and Family. Enjoy that day and hope you get all the wonderful new gadgets and machines in your heart's desire!
First one I ever saw with dual drive through & huge ducted FANS in the drive thru cooling people & cars down under shade. Never seen it before. Ganesville Texas
There are two Chik-Fil-A's within 20 minutes of our house. They are both packed constantly and the drive thru is nearly always out onto the public roads. That is in spite of the fast moving dual lanes of the drive thru. We don't go as often as we would like because of that. However, our grandchildren love the chicken nuggets so we endure for their sake when we have them with us.
Glad we moved out of western Virginia. Weeks of rainy dreary and overcast weather. Good camera shots and editing. You are an excellent producer and editor ... and Sawyer.
I have friends with the E bikes. At one time, they rode regular road bikes, but with age or maybe minor medical issues, aren't able to keep up with our cycling group. Glad they have them, because we enjoy their company and comradery. Only advantage they have are on the hills. They actually are at a disadvantage on slight down hill or flats after a downhill because those bikes are governed not to provide pedal assist after reaching 20 mph for some, 28 for other types. At age 61 I'm still pedaling with no assist, typically riding 5000 miles a year. Great exercise!
We have a Chik-fill-a in our area that has 3 drive through lanes only and from 11:30 til 7:00 they are backed up with about a 20 min wait - I don't see the alure but then again I have never tried them. Stay safe.
Nathan, you should look into one of those garage door opening apps so you can just do it from your phone and not have to get out and use a keypad every time you want to open the big door. The new buildings are looking good!
E bikes and scooters have been getting really popular here in NZ for a couple of years now. Both private and rental. I think part of the appeal is that they're faster and easier than walking, especially for the younger generations. Also really popular for people who want to go on a cycling trip and just aren't up to it physically.
I’m not sure what goes on in America with the E-Scooters etc, but here in Australia, they are for hire in a lot of places. You hire one from where ever you find them using an app, you ride it until you’ve had enough or to your destination and just leave it there. The owners just track them by GPS and then pick them up at a later stage. They look messy at times but very convenient.
I live in Montana, and I have an electric bike. I only use it for traveling around my small town. It's cheaper than heck as compared to my car. Also, I'm 77, and it gets me a bit of exercise I wouldn't get in my pickup. But I don't use mine in 30 degree weather. I can do it when it gets up around 40, but I prefer 50. Also, I only travel on back streets unless I have no choice. So I'm not bothering drivers very much. I hope. Enjoy your channel. You're doing what I wish I had done thirty or forty years ago. For some reason, it never occurred to me. My loss.
Nathan, the reason Chick-fil-A stays so busy is because of their business model, like Pal's does. Johnson City and Elizabethton are the same way. Great food and good people. As far as the weather, you know Mark Reynolds is never wrong. Lol
Northern Kalifornia Ski Resort here. The E-bikes are huge and the tourists love them. Problem for me riding the HD is they tend to ignore the rules of the road. I've had more close calls with the E-bikes than with the deer...and we got a lot of deer hereabouts. That said...I've never had a Chick Fil A, but maybe next time to the big city I'll try one.
Depending on where you store the re fuel tank, strap a solar panel on either the top or depending on the construction of the tank the side to keep that battery charged up.
I wish I would have taken the time to move material like you do. I thought I was saving time but in the long run I have lost time. Say hello to my pal corn pop. lolol, absolutely love your content. A smart cookie you are sir.
Here in the Seattle, WA area they are almost ubiquitous. These electric bikes and scooters are usually for short distance commuting in urban and suburban areas and you can park them almost anywhere. I know some people take them with them attached to RVs and the like and use them to go into town rather than using their big rigs, and to explore narrower trails. Heck it would be very handy for zipping around your property when you didn't have anything else to haul with you. If you did, some of the bike models have a decent size baskets.
@@OutoftheWoods0623 Also, they're relatively inexpensive compared to something like your tracker. Anywhere from $700 to $1500 and you can get them with big fat tires for rougher terrain. There are a lot of different companies that offer them now.
I have one of the older E-bikes its a "Pedal assist" type. I have to keep pedaling even when the motor is on. It helps going up hills and I can cruise at about 30 mph. I lived about 2 and a half mile from work and need the exercise. I personally do not care for Chick- Flay but the long lines are a problem in California also.
My neighbors house burned down because of the battery for his bike caught on fire while recharging. They need to build a second Chick Filet in your town ! Thanks for sharing this with us.
There's 1 Chick-fil-A in our town in Michigan and it's the same way. The E bikes got big a few years ago because people are tired of high fuel prices and insurance rates where I live. The town I live in is about 51,000 people.
It’s ironic watching my fav sawmill guy going out to buy pre cut lumber 😳… I’m sure it was necessary Nathan .. just that the humour ( YES it’s spelled with a U 🙄 ) isn’t lost on me 😅 Hope you n yours had a good Christmas sir 👌 👍🏴
Nathan the e-bike and scooter craze is happing in SW Michigan as well I still ride my non powered bike 20 miles a day 7 days a week after work weather permitting….Chickfil A always seems busy whenever I’m driving by either location near me ……Stay Safe 🇺🇸👊🏼👊🏼✌🏼🔨🪚
Electric vehicles are very cheap to run. Those little scooters can be parked anywhere. They can be stored safely and are very convenient. Underwater filming is done with some very special (expensive) cameras with heavy-duty water-proof casings.
Nathan, I'm over here in Blacksburg, SC, and it's the same way over here. A lot of them get them because they don't have to have a license or insurance.
U have that nice new system to fuel. I still use a 500 gal tank with old hand crank. I has to be filled every month during growing season. Ya it takes me about 3000 gal to run my place. But then Im not doing that much any more GKid does most these days. I just drive tractors when I feel like it and pay the bills. HOPE to live like this for a lot more yr but at 76 waking up is good
Hi Nathan & it's is Randy and i like Yours video is Cool & Thanks Nathan & Friends Randy & Hello Nathan & Happy New Year's & The Best in New Year's 2025
I'm a fellow Tennessean. I live about 9 miles outside Chattanooga, in the county and yes .....the e-bikes are surely on the uprise. I don't know if it's for the love of the outdoors, a transportation necessity, or just a status thing. Chattanooga has gone out of their way to make the downtown area bike friendly. A bike and pedestrian only bridge, bike lanes on roads, etc.
Here in Southern Indiana the scooters are the prefered mode of travel for prople that have lost their drivers license because there is no license or plate required. Just a leap but the number of accidents of people on scooters suggests the possibility of impared drivers. Don't follow to close.
I live in Gainesville, Florida, home of the University of Florida, so scooters and bicycles are plentiful! Even rentals activated by scanning a code on your phone.
MM77 Approved 👍🏼 👍🏼……………………………………………………………. Thanks for the road trip! I enjoy those, reminds me of my youth when I roamed the big city of Kingsport. It didn’t take much to be bigger than Big Stone Gap LOL ! I’m old enough to remember when the Kingsport Mall was THE MALL, anchored by Hills on one end and Montgomery Ward on the other and Kmart was a stand alone store behind the mall.
They are more numerous everywhere. My wife and I were on a trip to Berlin Ohio during the summer and found that they were more numerous than the horse and buggy among the Amish. We were told they could use them and keep the batteries charged as long as the electricity didn't come from the grid.
I've never seen a ChikfilA that wasn't crowded at lunch. How crowded depends on how many ChikfilA restaurants are in the area. Where I live in NC there are five pretty close to one another. But they're all crowded like crazy from 11am to 1pm. If all y'all have is one, people are going to flock there, because they have the best fast food chicken sandwich I've ever eaten. Their milkshakes are also top-notch.
I really enjoy your videos, as for the electric bikes and scooters they are all over the place here in CA where I live. Question for you, have you ever considered getting one of those machines that converts saw dusk into charcoal briquet size chucks of fuel? Seems like you have a fairly reliable source of saw dust;)
A little surprised to see you exhausting saw dust right onto the lime stone when your conveyor will be there soon. Did you consider putting down black plastic sheeting from a roll or one of those blue tarps just to make it easier to clean up?
The Chick Filet in State College, PA had to shut down so they could add a second drive thru lane. Customers were lined up down the street causing a safety concern.
Hi Nathan I've never heard of chickfila but I have heard that cagen french food is fantastic, as for the electric bikes and scooter the bikes seem to be riding by sensible but think they own the road by the people who want to save the planet or to lazy to ride a proper bicycle but the scooters are used by kid's that don't care about me as a driver and no regard for there own safety but my goodness they both get in your way on the hi-way should never be allowed on the black top there both very dangerous I live in the south west of the uk and I'm seeing more and more of them thank you for another of your great video's, I hope you all had a good Christmas and wishing you a very prospers new year.
Nathan, reach out to the band and see if you can get a license for their music, or at least permission to use it, another channel i follow recently got to permission from 5 times August to use their song "liars cheats and crooks" for his intro, it benefits both.

Glad you liked it!
Thanks for sharing with us Nathan, the new set up is really working good for you. Stay safe and keep up the great videos. Fred.

194K Subs....I remember the push to 50K. I hope for more of the same for you in the coming year! HNY a little bit early, Nathan!
I enjoy your slapstick comments, and videos here in Southcentral Kansas.

The new buildings are looking good!
Nathan, that little diesel delivery tank/pump is pretty slick!
When we pull out of our driveway we are almost in the line for our Chic-Fil-A.
Have a Happy New Year,

Need to weld a socket on the dump jack, then use impact gun to raise and lower the dump bed.

That's a really good band
if you put the incoming log deck on a forward slope it will make feeding the new logs easier.
Lots of electric bikes and scooters here in the Phoenix, AZ area as well. Love the content. Happy New Year.
Nathan, the reason Chick-fil-A stays so busy is because of their business model, like Pal's does. Johnson City and Elizabethton are the same way. Great food and good people. As far as the weather, you know Mark Reynolds is never wrong. Lol
The Chick-fil-A in Columbia, Tn is just as busy.
Nathan I hope y'all had a good Christmas

Think that band was on the show Yellowstone? Stay safe now!! Mike Peabody,Massachusetts 9:07
yes they were, and the band is from OK.
Depending on where you store the re fuel tank, strap a solar panel on either the top or depending on the construction of the tank the side to keep that battery charged up.
Hey Nathan that’s the way it is in our Chik-fil-a here in NE Oklahoma. I don’t notice many E bikes though. Cool video. 👍❤️
Love your videos Nathan

Turnpike Troubadors are Okies.😊
See the e-bikes getting a lot of use in our travels. This is especially true at our snowbird RV site in Naples, FL.
I have one of the older E-bikes its a "Pedal assist" type. I have to keep pedaling even when the motor is on. It helps going up hills and I can cruise at about 30 mph. I'm down in Cleveland. Rarely if ever see them here. Go to Chattanooga, Ebikes and such are prevalent.
Merry Christmas to you and your family love your videos
My neighbors house burned down because of the battery for his bike caught on fire while recharging.

My son has one that he uses for exercise and just fun. You can pedal as well as not with the bike. He loves it!

why not use a manure spreader to collect/spread the sawdust?
Yes, over the last year at least at least a doubling in the last in small battery powered bicycles and scooters!
I have never seen a person with a lumber mill buy so much lumber lol
AGREED!!!😊
My eyelid was twitching the whole time he was talking about and actually buying stickers.
As always……. Great!

Yes, I have seen an increase in the electric motorized bikes, San Jose Ca. I have also seen an increase in Viet Nam.

Watching the sped up hand crank on your trailer made me 😆
I can see why!😂
great video
Thanks!
We leave in North Alabama (Huntsville) and our Chick Fila are always packed .There are 4 of them.
Never stop at the chick Fila in Tallahassee, Fl on Monroe St. The in traffic literally blocks a 6 lane hiway.

The scooter and bicycle crew are from California, they are LOST SOULS.
I've seen a few of those things here in eastern Mass, but Mass drivers would consider a bicycle or scooter on the highway a personal insult, and you'd have about a 90% chance of ending up as a grease spot in the road. Don't get me wrong - in their place they are fine, and actually a godsend (no pun intended) to older or limited folks. I'll probably get one when I can't get around on my own anymore. But riding anything other than a motorcycle on the highway is really dumb, and I don't even do that anymore.
You should have a drill to raise and lower trailer dump
Absolutely see more electric bicycles every winter when the Winter Texans show up.
Nathan, what are you using for stickers?
YOU need a umbrella that looks like a flower,or a big straw hat
Can you get a clear plastic case for your GoPro? Should protect it from the rain.
All chick fil-A’s are busy
