@@jonjonwp so you pay for grains and vegetables that creates animal abuse? Do you know how many field mice and insects have to die for your vegetables?
@@jonjonwp I agree. You are right about the hypocrisy and people should be vegan, however perhaps some wake up through situations such as this and find that path? We can only hope .
Actually, many of the movements are natural, and you can see some horses act it out when they are left free in a large field.....what a person does to get their horse to repeat these movements is not the same for everyone.
I used to compete in dressage at a high level and never used a whip or spurs. The horse reacts from feelings from the rein to the mouth and from the heel of your boot and also your posture. Patients is a key factor ! Do not rush your horse into something by whipping and spurs, you will have an unhappy horse ! Dressage is a skill ! I had 2 horses and both reached dressage level, one better than the other but was satisfied with there performance. This woman, charlotte needs stripping of all her medals and taken to court for animal cruelty ! Never have I seen such a whipping of a horse ! There are probably more horrific video's out there ! But an Olympic contestant ? Get rid of her !!!!
Spurs were mandatory in all dressage competitions until recently so you lied there. I hope you don't yourself pay for horrific animal abuse and eat them.
Although i don't Agee with CD's method here i see what she was trying to achieve .. She was trying to get the horses hind legs under him to achieve better carriage. The horse had 4 protection bandages on.
It’s not her horse, it belongs to the woman videoing and laughing, so maybe the facts would be helpful. That woman is the one who reported and released the video.
There are two horse abattoirs in the British isles one in Ireland and one in Norfolk, most Brits do not use this abattoir in Norfolk to euthanise their horses, it’s the ex racers and native ponies for meat. However it’s still acceptable.
Are you sure you're not displaying fake outrage? Pretty much anyone who owns a horse is abusing it in some way, and have been for hundreds of years, from nailing metal shoes to their feet, leaving them in stables for hour's and sometimes day's at a time, from strapping a saddle to their back, putting a metal bit in their mouths, whipping them, feed them grass that isn't even for horses, the list is endless
@@frankocountrylivin8099 You very clearly have reading comprehension issues, look at what i wrote, horses have been abused for years in many different ways, only now are people outraged, anyone who really cares about horses should always have been outraged, this is a case of virtue signalling and jumping on the bandwagon, including you 😉
GOOGLE HORSES DOING DRESSAGE MOVEMENT BRIDLESS. SHOW THIS TO DRESSAGE JUDGES THAT HORSES CAN BE RIDDEN WITHOUT A BRIDLE AND AFTER TRAINING THE HORSE CAN PREFORM BRIDLESS IN TUNE TO THEIR RIDER. Susan
I've been saying this for ages now. The scoring needs to be revamped so that the less equipment used, the higher the score. Bitless scores higher than bitted, bridleless higher than bitless, etc. They can develop some kind of sliding scale or whatever. They can figure it out. It would actually be getting back to the roots of true dressage, communication and harmony with as few or as subtle cues as possible. Less should always be more in dressage.
@@NavvyMom Thank you!...when I was young I worked so hard to never force, to only use a simple snaffle, never a martingale, and only a simple saddle, I was horrified to see how horses were abused in dressage training. Obviously their riders and trainers never read the book My Horses, My Teachers. Or even Sally Swift....and if those riders and trainers who are not familiar with who wrote the book or who Sally Swift is, then you are not riding dressage.
/the attorney for the whistle blower said charlott has done this multiple times😢 you are bringing a clear voice. Thank you!!
thankyou marion...will she lose her horses & be charged with animal cruelty as she should be. this is horrendous.

Elitist sport dressage should be banned.Shocking.❤
There are different types of dressage. Not all dressage riders beat thier horses.
It is disgusting the cruelty to these beautiful animals, take every award off her- Miss Charlotte Dujardin. What goes around comes around
Ann jenkins
I agree Ann

How could the rider in said video, allow her horse to be whipped....... Caro
Teenager and it wasn’t her horse it belonged to the woman videoing, laughing and who also released the video.

I agree that horses are partners in the riding relationship. Horses are compassionate animals. We can be also
