This has always given me nightmares. In Romania, many dogs in public shelters are killed this same way. No sedative, fully conscious and then a T-61 into the heart. I am so sorry that Chai suffered so much but there are millions of dogs just like her. I hope she is at peace now.

Although i don't Agee with CD's method here i see what she was trying to achieve .. She was trying to get the horses hind legs under him to achieve better carriage. The horse had 4 protection bandages on.

I used to compete in dressage at a high level and never used a whip or spurs. The horse reacts from feelings from the rein to the mouth and from the heel of your boot and also your posture. Patients is a key factor ! Do not rush your horse into something by whipping and spurs, you will have an unhappy horse ! Dressage is a skill ! I had 2 horses and both reached dressage level, one better than the other but was satisfied with there performance. This woman, charlotte needs stripping of all her medals and taken to court for animal cruelty ! Never have I seen such a whipping of a horse ! There are probably more horrific video's out there ! But an Olympic contestant ? Get rid of her !!!!

There are two horse abattoirs in the British isles one in Ireland and one in Norfolk, most Brits do not use this abattoir in Norfolk to euthanise their horses, it’s the ex racers and native ponies for meat. However it’s still acceptable.

It’s not her horse, it belongs to the woman videoing and laughing, so maybe the facts would be helpful. That woman is the one who reported and released the video.

Pretty much anyone who owns a horse is abusing it in some way, and have been for hundreds of years, from nailing metal shoes to their feet, leaving them in stables for hour's and sometimes day's at a time, from strapping a saddle to their back, putting a metal bit in their mouths, whipping them, feed them grass that isn't even for horses, the list is endless

It's completely disgusting carry on from out government, they like the UK should be ashamed. Yes they can get aggressive, but so can jack Russell's, porkies, any dog can get aggressive. I've never once been bitten by a bully breed but I sure as hell have been by a sheep dog, a beshion and a tea cup yorkie unprovoked. Any dog can turn. We're told not to tar all religious beliefs with the one brush but when it comes to animals that goes out the window. Not all dogs are bad, of course I'm not nieve to the face there are situations where dogs turn aggressive. No one should be. I think we should have restrictions on who can own these types of dogs, they need to be experienced and have the time and effort to train socialise and rear these dogs correctly. I'm disgusted by my country, I've reared bully breeds most of adult life and my family did when I was younger. I've always been around them. So many dogs will now be thrown out onto the streets, killed unjustly. #DONTBULLYTHEBREED

The ban was put in place to protect the public from people like yourself because you lack self-awareness and danger. You think all dogs are the same. You think pitbulls are pets when the vast majority of pitbull attacks are on the owners who thought they knew their dog. This is exactly what happened the young woman down in limerick. She ironically had the same attitude that her pitbulls were pets and any criticism was negative. This was a grave mistake. The public should not have to live in danger because owners are irrational and base their views on emotions rather that consequences.

100 horses killed in racing but so many are killed on the roads. Concentrate please on the abbatoir situation rather than knocking racing in general. Go and see JP McManus stud and all his old horses there. Not EVERYONE in racing doesn't care about their horses - Lucinda Russell and many other trainers rehome their horses and take them back.

I dread it, I’m gonna have to get my border collie ( she’s almost 15 ) put down properly soon. She’s always had health issues, ears, paws, ovaries etc I’m so so nervous the thoughts of it really and truly.

Vet corporations do not care. In England we are very aware of their 'relationship' with the RCVS. Every vet negligence case we have received concerning corporates treats people the same way, they wash their hands of you. The VCI and RCVS have too much financial gain from the corporations to want to do anything about it. Everyone must understand the underlying corruption. If a vet treats an animal the way that Lexi was treated, they should be struck off, because it is a breach of their code of conduct, they have committed negligence through incompetent practise. We stand with you Marion here in England, we also will not stop fighting for justice for all lives maimed and lost to vet negligence.

Vet negligence happens not only to do with vet corporations, it's also happening in independent practice too..high costs and corporations are relatively new, vet negligence has been going on for decades. The high cost complaints are a smokescreen to the real issues, which is that negligent vets exist and the RCVS in England and the VCI in Ireland are both protecting negligent vets.

O'Shea, Bramley and Bree the veterinary Centre in Wexford town should be on tha list also. They've recently been taken over too. All the vets there are still the ones that were there before just so you can add them to your list. I'm so sorry for your loss.
