Just think. To be triggered into bad behaviour by trauma when being given love, goodness and joy. Wow! Thankyou for these parents disapline understanding and love for these children. Your in my prayers.
As someone who is adopted, this is just brings so much joy! This also why I will be adopting later on in life, no child should be homeless, let alone be moved around....
Family isn't always about blood. It's a bond that holds on through the good and the bad. What a sweet boy. Having a solid home base is the best start we can give any child. Love conquers so much.
You two have such a big heart, and beautiful in and out. I wish I had met someone like you two too when i was an orphan. :) You two are inspiring! God bless your beautiful soul 🙏🙏🙏
This young fellow is an old soul, for sure. So thoughtful and reflective. This story warms my cold, Canadian heart. I'm so happy he found these wonderful people. Real live miracle, right there. Best wishes to all of you from Canada.
Great video. Thank you for what you guys do. Out of curiosity, what church do you attend? Their videography work is great and I would love to know what mics they were using.
FYI reach out to your local Child Advocacy and see how you can help. You do not have to foster. They need new shoes cloths and something like a duffle bag or suitcase. These kids generally removed from their home with nothing but the clothes they have on.
That is so awesome God bless me and my husband wants to adopt a baby boy soon five daughter they all of them are grown up now we wanted up the baby boy soon
Hi I’m planning on studying social work just so I could be a foster and adoption parent but my family question my action because they don’t really understand what it means to foster a child Can you give me advice on how best to explain to them because I don’t think I can go into any other career but social work
Being a foster parent is 24/7 baby sitting, but you are also acting as the child's parent/guardian until you either adopt them, they age out of the system, or they get taken to yet another foster home. Its an extremely difficult thing for some people to grasp, and really explain....if your parents have no idea what its like, that's fine, they're not the ones that are going down the path to become foster parents, you are. Its all up to you what you do with your life, with or without your parent's say so. A foster parent really is a nicer name than guardian I guess...you aren't the child's parent(s)...you are just their care giver, and provider of shelter, love, care, food, and nurturing that the child(ren) have been lacking in their real home. Sometimes the kids get to go back to their families, sometimes they never do. The system is very flawed, and it takes a very hard working, dedicated, person to be able to handle the type of work involved in taking in children who've had extremely difficult pasts, physical, emotional, and sometimes medial problems that you are suddenly handed to care/provide for....and sometimes its not a 9-5 taking...you are woke up in the middle of the night to take a child in...you've got to remain flexible, and understanding for these kids, they have nothing, they have nobody, they're scared out of their minds, they're sad, mad, you name it...you have to step up and be the person who'll protect them, listen to them, provide for them, take their hand and guide them, and be their voice. Be their voice...most times kids don't have any say in their wellbeing, where they go, what they do, their care, their health, mental issues, physical issues...you have to be the person to speak for the child, in the child's best interest, not your best interest...the child's best interest....you are all that child has at that point. This is a job/career that requires your full attention day after day. You have to make appointments, care for kids 24/7, mentor them, carry them, etc. as if they're your own. Its not a paid position, you still have to be able to work, however hard that may be to do, its a thankless, hard, overlooked job that many people couldn't handle, have no clue how it works, and just outright have no business being around kids, or having any to begin with....so you have huge shoes to fill in this field. I would love to adopt, I don't know how I'd be able to be a foster parent, having kids come into my life then be gone, I don't think I could handle that part, but I'd certainly be up to adopt a child. My financial situation right now won't allow me to, however its getting a lot better, just not fast enough LOL. Children require a lot of care, and they need you to be there for them not whenever you feel like, its not like you can just close the door when you don't want to deal with it, you have to be there regardless how you feel, no matter what you want to do, you've gotta be there for that child. I have mentored several kids over the years, I loved it, it was very rewarding, and educational....never had any courses in being a mentor, and honestly whoever thinks you do, needs their head examined...you can read all you want, but the reality is, it takes in person, on the job, physically working with kids to learn and understand the mentorship process, just like adoption, you aren't going to learn until you just jump in and do it, afterwards you'll realize how worth it that it was when that little boy or girl looks up at you and smiles and loves you forever because you were the one who saved them, and gave them a forever home, a place to call home, someone to call, someone to be there for them forever, and someone who'll love them.
Yes, and how many families have been destroyed because of kidnapping kids for cash!? How much money are you making off of these kids? You are paid monthly for each child until they are 18 (this includes after adoption as well), social services gets adoption incentive bonuses for adopting children out, so no incentive for reunification of blood family. God is not about destroying families but healing, and strengthening them! Families First actually helps families instead of tearing them apart, destroying them and creating holes that can never be filled! And they found that helping instead of hurting is far less costly over time!!! In fact, if the money (our taxes) they're paying you would instead be given to these families they would probably being doing pretty well!
Wow, so that’s how you judge people. When I look at the Bible I look at the guidance and actions of Jesus, which is love and inclusion. Know them by their fruits. I can see theirs, and I get a sense of yours, one fruit is beautiful and sustaining, the other is rotting on the vine.
adopted kids should feel special, because that family chose you

This is the world I want to live in!!!
What a wonderful story. I admire your ability to open up your home and lives to another kid in need.
I was in an unhappy foster home. God bless you angels for what you do.
I am sorry about that. You didn't deserve the abuse that you went to. I and my ex-wife treated our foster children like they were our own.

Incorrect on so many levels.
God has nothing to do with this, first you need to prove there is a god!
We must allow each other to live according to their own beliefs. None of us have the right to demand others live according to our beliefs.
A Christian with a tattoo is a contradiction to the Bible
Yes, because that's the point of this video. 😒
I'm Christian.. and I have tattoo... But Jesus saved me anyway.. just don't make new ones.. living new life in Christ.. we need to repent..😊🙏💝💝
Don't be so judgemental. It contradicts the teachings of Christ.

Yes, because Jesus said "Love your neighbor, except those with tatoos, those are sinners and don't belong with us" 😒
Kids just wanted to be wanted and loved.
