Excellent, well crafted video that I followed along easily. I appreciated the yarn and loom description in the beginning.
For the people who had problems with the ears and tail, I did it easily using stitch markers (or safety pins). I made the first 4 knits of the ears, then I put stitch markers in the loom, and then I knitted off those 4 pegs. Now the project has 4 markers inside the row that you need to pick back up. It made it easier for me to identify where they were when it came time to find them.
As for the eyes and nose, I found them at JoAnn fabrics.
9mm size for the eyes, and 12 mm for the nose are what I used.
great tip thankyou for sharing helped alot
Thank you soooo much for that tip! Going to try it now!
I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS. I'VE MADE 4 OF YOUR BEARS AND WORKING ON THE 5TH. THEY ARE JUST ADORABLE. I'M 75 YEARS OLD AND I CAN FOLLOW RIGHT ALONG WITH YOU. HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH YOUR VIDEOS. ENJOY THEM SO MUCH. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEW PATTERNS. THANKS
Love this!! My bear has come out wonderfully... I knitted her in a light purple and gave her to my neice who adores her. Thank you so much
Overall, this was an excellent tutorial. Thanks for taking the time to not only show us how to make a bear but also to explain the terminology and techniques. This was my first project that was more ambitious than basic e-wrap circles, and I learned a lot about loom knitting in this tutorial that I'm sure will come in handy with future projects.
You are so talented! I really enjoy watching your videos and learning new things! I'm physically disabled and my hands are contracted, so it makes regular knitting very hard for me, but I have mastered loom knitting. Sewing is also difficult for me, so with you showing us how to do this in one piece is really awesome! Thank you for your videos. I watched one yesterday that I heard your brother in. God bless him and tell him to make all of the beautiful noises he wants! Much love to you all!
I have learned so much from your videos. Thanks for the revamp of this teddy bear. I have been trying to get the ears to look like this version and could never get right until now. thanks again!
I was super skeptical about this but I just finished my teddy bear head and it looks awesome. Im going slow and rewinding (lots when I need to) and taking my time. The directions are clear and pretty easy. I find watching the steps and then going back and knitting along with you very helpful so my 1st teddy will take me a while Im sure. This revamp video is awesome please consider a revamp on the mini sheep tutorial.
There will be a video of the sheep for the 24 peg loom in the future.
You are awesome. I made the bears. Thank you for your awesome instructions😀
Thank you. I am new to loom knitting and found the picking up of stitches to make the ears and snout very difficult. I was using a furry yarn so couldn’t see any loops to pick up. The good side to that is the fur hides all my mistakes. I have come out with a recognisable bear even if one ear is bigger than the other and his head is a bit lopsided. I think I will call him Wonky!
Try putting stitch markers on the stitches before starting the ear and you will know after you finish the ear exactly what to bring back. :)
Hard to follow when it’s not on camera
Thank you for a fab pattern. If you ever remake this video you need to focus the camera on the project rather than the desk and be a bit more aware of whether what you are showing us is in frame. But again a great pattern and I'm really grateful for your time effort and generosity in sharing with us.
If you want a slightly easier way to do the internal decrease (without losing stitches!!), go to the mini bear Scarlet Royal video. I did it that way with this bear. So much easier!
Thanks so much! I’m going to attempt yarn bees simply Sherpa this weekend. Pray for me haha
I love this bear but I don't have a 24 peg loom. Can I make the body as a flat panel on a larger peg loom and seam it together?
Love this , just made my 1st bear 🐻
Love it, difficult to appreciate, the video taping missed many important points discussed. But your explanation was good.
When making the arms do I swap between e wrap and flat knit in the 14 rows. I did it on the first arm and am now wondering if I’ve done something wrong 😂
Yes if you want it tight enough to stuff firm one row in ew and one row in knit.
Hi, I want to make this bear on the 36 peg 5/8 loom with size 7 yarn, what are the pattern differences you would make? Also I love your videos, very well done!
Stick to the size 6-7 yarn you will need a couple skeins for the 36 peg bear. Here is the link to the enlarged bear. ua-cam.com/video/1J8ySU0G0TI/v-deo.html have fun!!! :)
Hola yo tengo el telar de 24 pero el que vende aliexpress con ese que hilo me recomiendas para hacer el oso
I know it is senseless to ask a question because it looks like you do not respond to them, but I did want to say the video is very hard to follow because it is blurry and because of the dark yarn, it is hard to see what you are doing. It would have been a little easier maybe if the yarn were lighter, just my opinion.
I really liked this, but you weren't always on camera make it a bit hard at times
I have found the safety eyes, but so not have the foggiest idea of the size. They are MM sizes. Thanks again for the revamped video.
wasn't able to see the bridge notch area to be able to identify it.
The other option you can do on those things is put a stitch marker on the stitch before you start the ear. Then when it is time to bring the original loop back you just pull those stitch markers back up.
How different would it be/look if I did it all in flat stitch rather than e-wrap as I find e wrap leaves holes.
Oh it looks better quite honestly but you will get a smaller bear is all.
What’s size 7 yarn bin uk size is that chunky or super chunky?
Super chunky yarn.
I'm making this for my cousins new puppy. He loves stuffed animals. I'll just be leaving off the eyes and nose buttons.
I don't want to make a tiny little bear. If I am going to put all that time, effort and money into it, then I want a descent size bear. I want to make it on the 36 peg loom.I have the 36 peg, 5/8 gauge cindwood round loom. That is the size I want my bears. So, what peg and gauge size cindwood loom would I need to make the arms? I have the 20 peg cinderwood round loom but is doesn't say what gauge it is. Also how do I make the adjustments on the nose, ears and tail if I am going up in peg size? Thank you very much.

Would a 6 weight super bulky yarn work on a 5/8th gauge loom?
Yes it will work just fine on that gauge.
@@ScarlettRoyaletheloommuse Great! Thank you!
Thank you
I can't seem to prevent puckering from happening when I'm closing the back of the head. This is my 4th attempt. I have no idea if I'm doing it wrong because that video portion is half shadowed or half out of frame. Please, HELP!
In general, very good explanations! Just a pity that the (French) translation that worked on your channel before, no longer works
Where can you find the smaller looms? I have a 5/8 that came in my pack. I can't find the 1/2 in gauge, 3/8 in gauge, and 1/4 in gauge. The looms I see are bigger.
Cindwood looms produces the full spectrum of 24 pegs looms. Link in the info box below the video.
Did you make those tiny wooden looms? I've never seen one with pegs that flat! I wish I had some! Great video!
From cindwood looms. It is my favorite company for looms.
@@ScarlettRoyaletheloommuse Good to know, thank you! Another question, when I made the body for the bear, there was a clear indentation where the row just above the tail was. Is there a way to remedy that? Thanks!
How do you sew on the limbs so that they can move?
With the way I sew on the limbs they still move a lot.
Add buttons (: it will give them movement
I want to make a bear, but how much yarn would i need for one? You said that I'd need 7 inch yarn, but how much of it? I found one on Amazon that says it's 24 yards. Is that enough?
Number 7 to 6 super bulky. Usually takes 2 skeins of any brand in that thickness to make.
hi i was wondering can i please get a link to your 36 peg teddy bear? or do you have a 42 or 46 peg loom teddy bear?
ua-cam.com/video/1J8ySU0G0TI/v-deo.html
@@ScarlettRoyaletheloommuse iv tried that one but it doesn't start from the beginning do you have a link to how to start it?
I wonder why 1/2 inch guage is so difficult to get a hold of.
Cindwood was the 1st to put out that gauge but KB put out the flexee in that gauge now.
Everytime I do this pattern my bear's head looks too small
I have a 30 peg loom and it's hard to make anything help!
Lana Bates you can do the body with the same row in the round. Then just make the head and limbs using the same peg count of 24. Give that a try you will find the body is have a fatter body. It will look cuter.
Where do you get your looks from please
I am guessing you mean looms... autocorrect right. Lol I get them from cindwood looms.
What is the name of the yarn you are using? Thanks
If you are asking about the first image it is Bernat Pipsqueak. If you asking about the yarn I used in the video it is the Lions Brand Hometown USA.
Will be doing this project .... great instructions.
Impossible for me to follow with the ears..lighting is terrible, yarn is to dark..to hard to follow where the bridge is that's she talking about..hope I can find another teddy bear video that cis easier to follow
I love your video, it would be possible subtitle in spanish?
It’s hard to follow the ears and tail
I am having a hard time finding the buttons for the eyes. Where do you buy yours?
Betty Carpenter typically ebay. They are called safety eyes.
Joe Ann's carrys the locking eyes & noses as well......
Can u do a unicorn 🦄 I see so many beautiful knitted unicorns just no one has done one on the loom an this is the closest I can find for the body just different colors and color the paws to make them look like hoofs
What size is comparable in the knifty knitter? I have a 24 peg rectangular one. Will that work since I’m working flat?
Loops and threads has one. But a rectangular one will work.
Anyone from the ASMR community? 42:54
Your Teddy Bear is cute! I can't follow the ear instructions.
Hi I was just wondering if you can use the same pattern on a boye loom that's the one I have an using thicker yarn on it?
Trish Breiten yes you can use any 24 peg loom. Just take on the suggestions for the yarn I have in the video. The boye loom is your largest gauge so size 7 or size 5 yarn bulking.

Thank you so much for replying back to my question. I love all of your stuff animal videos thank you for putting them on UA-cam for all of us to watch them God bless and have a wonderful day. 💕
Love your videos.too much. Hand movements for my taste
Glad you re-did this one; it's not perfect yet, but you will get there! You really need a cameraman.... you can't do it by yourself!! There is a lot of room for improvement!! Try it once more.

You had me until you said Dutch hound. It's pronounced Dox-hund.
Lost my ability to view once you began the whisper talk, or talking like you were embarrassed to be talking due to others being around and hearing you. I've watched several of your videos and a lot of the time when trying to show us something, you are out of frame. Id like to make some of your items, they are super cute. Do one of the ai talking in the video, if you don't want to talk around whomever it was in the backgroun, and set your cam on a tripod over the top of your head so you have a nice size viewable working area.
Great to see it. I did it too. The plans from Woodglut helped me a lot :)
Got bored with your video. I want to know how to make a bear... 15 minutes in you start making a bear...
