You can get the cars and parts from Floyd Vick Chassis or Primal RC. Depending on which car you want to run. I post all the races here on UA-cam in my YT page community tab. I race in NC, NJ, and Philly but there are also races in St Louis, Tennessee and the sport is growing more every year. Please share this and help grow it more. Thanks bro. What a lot of people don't understand is I'm a racer that records. Lol. It's hard for me to get every angle and every aspect of the race. I try to get the announcer when he gives the time and mph but sometimes during qualifiers they don't announce it. You can hear it a bit more clearer on the next video of eliminations. I'm trying to get a bit of what we go thru before my next race to get prepared for. Thanks for commenting!
Love the real nitro burners! I raced at The Rock many times at IHRA National/Divisional races. Even won a B&M race there once...set several records. They didn't have this when I was there or I woulda been watching when not racing! Very cool!

Yeah I heard of them. Maybe they were too expensive or really few places to run them. In the 90s I was running 10th scale off-road and nitro boats. I never heard of 1/4 scale until I was a bit older and they were crazy expensive. Now entry 5th and 1/4 price is more attainable

You know, having seen plenty of dirt track racing and rock climbing RC events, I always DID wonder if there was scale RC versions of drag racing! Well, now I know!! What a wickedly cool hobby and sport to get into! Damn shame I don't have the kind of money for this otherwise I'd totally want to join in - it looks like an absolute BLAST!! :D AAAAND even the wrecks are scaled versions of the real thing too!! And I bet JUST as painful to see happen, both to ones emotions AND ones wallets!
I was addicted to the RC world. I spent thousands of dollars on them. I got rid of my last RC in 2022. But previously I had them sitting in the closet collecting dudt from 2018. My friend sent me a video of him trying to get his 5yr old grandson into the RC world. I told him gd luck with his grandson. And why did you send me that video. Now he got me thinking about getting a RC car for Xmas which I don't want to do.😭😭😭😭😭
Stay strong and hold the line. I feel the same way. I’ve spent thousands on Cars, Planes, Helis, motorcycles. And it all collects dust. Not to mention all the tools, Travel, set-ups. TIME.
I used to have a rail car as well but in our tiny island of Guam there wasn't allot of people into drag racing so I didn't and still don't know how to balance the rear end to make the car go straight the weight was off buy a year but I couldn't calibrate it to save my life. In the late 80's early 90's a company named New Era built ¼ scale dragsters, the Top Fuel cars were 7ft long.
For some reason it never took off.
