I'm a C/L speed flyer and enjoy watching you guys running NITRO in some of your classes 20+ years ago they had to ban unlimited fuel in most of R classes as the speeds were 200+ mph ! if you run 65%+ nitro add 4% propylene oxide to your mix as it will excite the nitro more, you can purchase it from a photography supply ! Also great racing and a lovely drag strip !

Wow this is insane! I used to go to Minnesota Dragways for drag racing as a spectator. It would be so cool if you could add the time and speed to each race somehow. Those nitro beasts really fly! How fun!

Where I live at in Missouri there is a drag racing strip in the next state over in Tennessee...every year they pull out their best dragsters and show what they got...I remember my uncle had a dark candy red 60s model Chevy that came to the strip and gave them Tennessee boys what a Missourian can do..sadly I wasn't there ,but I bet it was blast

is it illegal to put a laser in the car to make it easier to aim the car. know that extra weight slows down acceleration. just a thought
No I don't think it's against the rules but may be hard to see.
@PUTDEVICE I do not think aim is really the issue. Much like the real ones, the track, torque, which causes body and tire flex, (A slight BREEZE) make aiming next to impossible past initially pointing it in the desired direction. The second you hit the gas, you tossed aim out the window because the car is going to do what it wants, no matter how well you balance it. ESPECIALLY if the front end comes off the ground. In the war of drift and countersteer, a laser will do little other than look REALLY cool unless you hook it up to an A.I./Skynet guided steering system. Now, a camera on the car and a V.R. style headset MIGHT help... A little....

Love the content. Question though? What’s with the holding it and tapping the throttle before the launch? I don’t see the wheels making contact so I assume it’s not for a burnout/warming the tires up. The pickup is mf clean 😮💨
The c6 body one was clean af too
We call it airing it out. 2 stroke engines use gasoline mixed with oil. If the car sits idling for too long the oil will bog the engine down so when we air it out we are prepping the run for the perfect fuel/oil mixture for the launch.

I hate to say it but those things are slow, little Cox 409 dragster I had if you just blinked you would miss it it'd be the other end of the block we use pillows to stop it. I put the airplane barrels on it and raise the compression so we can just barely started it it would sit there and burn rubber and if you blinked it was already at the other end of the track we built.
