Hey man, I copped these for $30 last month!!! Basically, I had to do it, because they were my absolute favorite sneaker in high school. I had the silver pair (we used to joke and call them platinum), and I beat them to death back in the day. Anyway, actually been rocking them a lot. Adidas, cutting down on how bulky they used to be makes them infinitely more wearable today. Also, being that they're a crazy avant garde design, they almost fit right in with some of the modern day footwear silhouettes. Nice to see them compared with the OG!

These are both retros, one is from 2006, not 2001.
i'll go with the retro. Anyone playing on those original back at the beggining of 2000 knows how disgustting it was taking time to tie the laces over and over again (because of the metal untying them).
