I think there becomes more mice because the original two split into all four of them, and they all of one shared conciousness, wich is why multiple pokemon can be in the same pokeball
but other pokemon have had separate pokemon "count as part of them" when it comes to being stored in a ball before. kangaskhan literally has its own child in its pouch. and i doubt they are a shared consciousness too. there is also slowbro with the parasite on its tail. but maybe that one could count as "shared consciousness" edit: just thought of some more. dragapult has little babies in the little grooves in its head. exeggcute which... i dont even really need to explain that one. hydrapple, but that one at least they all are connected by the apple. even though its not actually part of them. magneton, but at least they are screwed together. falinks, though this one i cannot accept they have a "shared consciousness" because they have a chain of command, and obey the orders of the one at the front of the line. the true answer is, pokemon does whatever it wants to with the rules.
@@comicsans3421theyre not saying all pokemon with multiple bodies are a shared consciousness, its in the mice pokedex entry that they do, and since theyre based on mitosis what op says makes the most sense
@@Katelizaj but the issue is the shared consciousness excuse is pointless for pokemon sharing a pokeball unless all those other ones also are a shared consciousness. thats kind of the point here. there is no reason why multiple "pokemon" share the same ball as a single pokemon. no excuse is needed because it never made sense in the first place.
I named my Tandemaus “Gay Couple”
