The system from the guy from Pakistan is impressive! Just love it. When I was a teenager, this is sort of what I imagined to be a top system. Of course my perspective has changed in 40 years 😁
Thank you Guido for sharing my hifi. The Celestion speakers are now upgraded with new crossovers and also placed correctly away from a wall for better sound stage. Tape is tape my friend :) Thank you once again for sharing my home complex hifi gear :)
Hi Guido, Ralph here from Switzerland, thanks for the praise and for showing my video ! I do use the capabilities of the Marantz amp, since I also drive a 7.2.6 channel setup for movies, but I agree with you. Though the sound is really not that bad.. I am also thinking of changing the stereo amp section and I got curious about Alberto’s amps you showed the other day.. but I am also a strong believer in bi-amping and with the AGDs it would become really costly and bring some connectivity challenges.. Would be great if Mr Guerra could make bi-amping monoblocks .. :) Perhaps one day…
Guido, you need to bring back those awards you give out (gold, silver, real hifi award)´and only give them if you think the component deserves it like the previous shows. The last system was great.MPD 8 and Vitus and Kuzma , great stuff!Would probably change speakers from Wilson to something else but great system..
We need the medals back. I don’t like it the way it is without the medals. People who get hurt by it need to understand there’s gear and then there’s special gear.
Very glad you started talking again while the videos are playing. Personally, you make it much more engaging when you point things out in the moment, instead of holding on to your thoughts until after the video.
Great new series Guido. The first video was fascinating. I loved the fellows passion and knowledge. The fellow from Australia also had a serious system. I’d like to borrow that turntable. Not sure how you come to the conclusion he must predominantly stream. With 800 LPs and 800 cds, he could listen to 4 album every single day and not repeat an album for a year.
The Swiss guy’s Piega speakers are very sophisticated and clever. Never heard of that brand before, interesting 🤔 and the Aussie guy’s super high-end system was impressive too.
Thanks Guido for your kind words🙏 As far as physical media goes, I have around 800 albums about the same amount of CDs not a huge collection but all played fairly regularly. Hopefully, next time I'm over in Europe, we can shoot a video together. My wife and I were in Spain and France about a year and a half ago, and Italy is absolutely on our bucket list next time we're in Europe. If you are ever down here in Oz Guido you certainly have an invite to sit in the hot seat, my friend.🎧👍🙂
I feel like most Roon users probably haven’t heard true neutral bit perfect playback. I have used Roon, but after trying Audirvāna there was no going back. I rip all my CDs uncompressed in aiff file format and run Audirvāna on my modified Mac Mini 2014. I have removed the cooling fan and changed the power supply to an external linear power supply. In the operating system I have disabled ALL that can be disabled. Mac model 2014 because that is the model that can run the last version of MacOS where the operating system’s software audio system can be bypassed and Audirvana does exactly that. That means the bits from the audio file are delivered through usb untouched to the DAC. The sound so clean and pure and dynamic. I tried Roon again but no it’s so clearly tampering the sound.
Good evening, greetings from Greece! Congratulations on your excellent job. I have a question: what is your opinion on altec model five, did you ever have any experience on those; Thank you for your time.
Guido What happened to all the medals that you pass out during the video?? That was very fun to see the medals passed out for certain components Can you bring it back?
Guido, LTA transformerless amp are not tubes with a modern flavor. Mr David Berning started its special take on TLA at the beginning of the 1970’s with various patents to his credit. They are the best sounding TLA I have heard. LTA is a fairly new company that manufactures preamps and amps under license from Mr. Berning, a true electronic wizard and original genius. I strongly recommend you to hunt for any of his original designs to hear a truly great sounding amp. They are way above anything made with tubes with the added bonus that the tubes will last 20 years or more due to his innovative technology.
Reading your comment and also knowing for some time these products the definition “tubes with a modern flavor” seems quite correct actually but yes, I have definitely wanting to try them in my system. Not simple in Italy.
what turn table would you recommend, I have a Harmon Kardon AVR20 and Opera Pavarotti speakers. I put these away when I had kids, they are now teenagers (so it' safe to bring them out) so it' old equipment but barely used
I know…but it’s not anymore like when I was 20…:plus a lot of people think I am in my late 30’s and think Injust started to buy cassettes and vinyl…no. I was born in the 70’s! ;-)
I have two suggestions. (1) Please remove the upper left head box overlay. It is distracting. A faint and simple Ana[dia]log graphic would be better. (2) Presenters need to stabilize their video shots or use a series of still shots.
How can you not put a video with embarrassing capture while on the show you say that it’s your first time impression as you didn’t see the video before? If that an analog performance as in digital it cannot be achieved 😅
Very simple my friend. I shot the video with no idea what is inside. AFTER if someone sent a video of two people humping or a swastika I just edit it out. ;-)
Finally a Major-Breakthrough for Loudspeakers !
New Treble Clef Audio TCA-M Active Loudspeakers !

Wow! A fantastic range of audio systems. Thank you for the presentation.
The first fellow had an amazing setup. Thanks and keep the vids going

Amazing collaboration! Musical Passion project across continents. Great sharing of experience and wisdom
Awesome video. Shane is such an awesome guy. Huge fans of his and this channel. Great to see you both in a video together. 🥂
People have so great looking setups. NIce!

I love looking at other people's system, every body has a different set up, great video ad usual 👍

Nice. I think hundreds ahead of mine still.
No, don’t worry. I have only 15/20 now…
Waiting anxiously my video published. Maybe the next show...
IKR--it seems like there are 2 shows a month. I first submitted mine 2 or 3 months ago and Im sure there may be a bunch ahead of mine.
I am sure soon it will come around, don’t have that many now!
would be nice to hear the prices also just to make an idea of budget. anyway still great show.

Cool, I see
Am sorry but it’s not normal to own all of that audio equipment. These types r nothing more then audio hoarder’s, they really need help.
Funny - you may be correct. Humans do like to collect objects of desire.
Funny - it may not be normal but not everyone fits the norm.
Some humans naturally like collecting objects of desire.
