seriously guys, you make what you promote as serious video and show ZenSati 500.000€ speaker cables as something nice, do you really believe that any normal people would think about 500.000€ for speaker cables as something positive? 😵..... sorry to be party-breaker, but I expect that anyone considering things like this should expect visit from the doctors wearing "white jackets".
No jodan muchachos!!!!!
Can someone explaine the idiote prices of these speakers and equipment? Is it only to show others what you can afford? The looks seems the most important.
Super niche market, so a few items sold have to recoup the entire cost of development. A new car costs $2 billion to develop and only costs $50,000 (and not $50,000,000) because they can sell thousands of them. 50% of people eventually buy a car, less than 0.0001% of people buy a huge 400 lb speaker.
this exhibition is not called HIFI... it's called HighEnd. What do you expect? It's like going to an exhibition of super sports cars and expecting a Lamborgini to cost 30000 ?
Lots of amplifiers, speakers, turntables, and other equipment, but few reel-to-reel tape decks. I only saw Nagra and another manufacturer at the end (Metaxas? The video doesn’t say!). What’s the status of reel-to-reel in the high-end audiophile market?
you put a lot of work into that . well done . a bit more lingering on some products would have been nice , but that would have doubled or tripled your time there .
Thanks. Plan is to take an extra day next year and bring a helper, there was a lot more than last year. 3.5 day wasn't enough this year for both the Instagram channel and UA-cam. 😅
In Canada and the USA at least, for the first time in decades Vinyl Records now OUTSELL CDs and DVDs! I have quite the 1970's and 1980's collection myself and there is a nice fuzzy WARMTH to them that is hard to describe! I also buy 24 bit at 192 KHz Uncompressed Studio Master recordings when the artist/label makes them available for purchase and while THOSE audio files are beyond belief in terms of pure sonic quality (i.e. mostly classical and jazz sets!), that "Vinyl Sound" has a raw youthfulness attached to it that reminds me of years long past and of the many concerts attended. The analogue fuzzy crackly sound is PART of the music experience itself and it has more to do with reliving our youth rather than any expression of pure sonic quality and ultra-high audio resolution. Plus, the album cover artwork and liner notes are a collectible nostalgia item all by themselves! I also notice younger people getting a bit of nostalgia themselves trying to IMAGINE what it must have been like to attend a live KISS concert in 1978 Detroit, an Eagles or Rolling Stones concert in California during the early 1980's or a New Orleans Jazz bar room from 1989! They wont get the same DEEP EMOTION we had during those days BUT the sound of a vinyl record does show them the youthful RAWNESS of musicians playing in their prime! Modern CD audio or that hyper-compressed MP3 has a clinical elevator music quality about that I would call an Acoustic Liminal Space, which means it's a temporary waiting room area you are just staying and listening for a while in while you eventually get transported somewhere else better! The future is actually 32 bits per sample 9.2.2 360-degree surround sound at 5 MHz sample rates and today's streaming music and 20 bit SACD are just temporary technological waiting areas until we get to the ULTIMATE in sound quality. Vinyl Records are that smooth and chill bar/lounge that is a fun, dimly-lit chill-out place that makes everyone look and sound better for some of that sweet audio listening. Vinyl is far better for your ears than waiting in that overlit sterile and clinical MP3 doctors office you end up staying far too long in! V
I like to believe world class sound can be had with lamp cord, $150 drivers and plywood. But I do see the sense in spending thousands for the electronics.
Any word on what you considered the best speakers? Especially curious how the Aries Cerat compare to the Bayz Audio (heard the latter and haven't hear anything better in 40 years).
Technically, a very good mp3 player is far superior in all aspects when compared to a turntable of highest level. May be I need more money to waste or think less to understand

@@Audiophilesdoteu I know this so well because I sold Burmester in the 90th in my HiFi shop.😉 I also visited the factory in Berlin, Dieter Burmester was truly a great, charismatic person who unfortunately has already passed away several years ago.

I'm fully convinced that audiophiles have gone mad I consider myself one
Ugliness is for the audiofools who visit this electromeat market. 33 minutes of pure laughter.
Great Video. Happy to see a lot of Luxman products. Used to work with the Scandinavian Importer for Luxman back in the early 80's
I bet all the systems which don't have their cables lifted up on little plastic bridges sound absolutely terrible.
I'm not rich but I managed to retire with a pair of Tannoys, so life is good.

Correct, Metaxas. But you don't really see Reel-to-reel anywhere. Streaming / Vinyl fills up most of the rooms. ;-)

Looking at the cables that connect the loud speakers with the amplifier, the electric bill.....!
