But for Haaland I was very surprised considering he’s one of our best penalty takers. When I saw Alvarez come in I thought Bernado was coming off for Alvarez. So if Alvarez,Haaland,Foden and Ederson took the penalties after that Modric miss pretty sure we would’ve won.
Buvey you are right they wanted to take you to pens and City had to win in regulation time or extra time once it got to pens without Haaland and De Bruyne for the rest of the game including pens.

Very conflicted about Haaland as a City supporter and huge fan of his. It feels weird to be having these conversations about him after what he did last year in our treble season and still being joint top scorer in the league this season at only 23. He seems to be missing that it factor that made players like Ronaldo and Messi so great. obviously not comparing him to them but he just needs to be able to influence games during the crucial moments if he’s to be considered among the best players in the world. I just hope this is the EA cover curse and second season drop off and that we see a resurgence from him next year because I want so badly to support him.
