It is truly unbelievable how they were turning down the unfinished legacy. You are a very respectful young man , there are people who will record others without even asking. I just know one day your brand will be so huge and everyone that turned that down will have regrets. ❤️
You're such an amazing guy with a beautiful core. They were interested, but it may have been the delivery. The word "reaction" has such a negative connotation attached to it that the one lady was afraid of the potential outcome (didn't even see what was in the box). Had you said the same thing but replaced the word play with "We make 1 of 1's and sell them online, today we're gifting 5 random strangers for their feedback and what they'd rate the piece out of 10". They would all love to be a JUDGE. People have natural judgement in them so it's a comfortable space. The reason would make them feel like they could end up being on the butt end of a joke or gag. Just my take on it. We've done it with our brand SuperFresh and made the same adjustments. You're amazing.

Part of it is because they're not rejecting him or his product really, they're just rejecting the opportunity to interact with a fellow human being, and a genuine one at that. Eventually real recognizes real and that's when the magic happens! That's true for love, friendship, business, etc

Do you clean your screens every day and remove the tape and all?

it looks like he prints with plastisol (oil based ink) with that, you dont have to clean the screen each time. you can leave the ink on the screen and it wont clog because it needs high heat to dry. I print with water based ink and I do have to clean the screen each time, and keep the mesh flooded during printing! hope that helps

Man, this is BRAVE (nobody cares about art till it's not mass recognized, or some shit influencer will not wear, fkn advertising/marketing stuff), I know how it feels like, I've started the same thing, but in a country where people are not so familiar with pure designer handmade (screen)print, and I can't say that I have a Lamborgini, but definitely had experience) and understood the market.

Well the machine cost me $1200 and I haven’t started any hats yet but I think I’ll sell the embroidered hats for about $25 at the most I’m trying to figure out how to make the clothes that won’t kill people’s pockets but like I said I still got to figure out cheaper vendors or something.

This is very inspirational for me. I’m starting my own clothing but I have to start with a print on demand companion for the beginner but I’m really excited to get to the point where I can start doing more luxurious pieces and make them in house like you. Much respect!
A few years ago I would’ve said no that I was good and passed on the merch. But today I would hella take it and tell you if it was ass. In this case I’m rocking with it I like it. Next time have more confidence. Easier said than done but I think that would’ve helped ease people into taking the stuff too.
