@@aliimiza8421Super is canon to the manga timeline,Anime super has so many continuity errors it's pretty much a alternative timeline to the original Z anime,in a similar way to the OG special of future Trunks who changed a lot of his backstory.
Super is like Alternate Universe that continues in a different direction, pretty much just like DBGT.

The shitty Hollywood Live-action movie that pretty much ruined Dragon Ball's reputation. So Akira Toriyama (rest in peace graceful soul) decided to revitalize the franchise by creating Super back then.

@@albertogarcia993 It's supposed to be similar but not identical, the same way Goku, Gohan, Goten and Bardock have slightly different voices. You can even see it in this clip - Pan first shows up with the right voice, then it swaps.

I wonder if the reason Goten became such a lazy fighter is because Goku would often try to spar with him and he'd never get a hit in.
I know it's a shonen, but honestly I think it's good that people in the group have their own interests. Buu would have been an awful trauma for him, it's understandable that he feels like stepping back and enjoying his life.
@@Xahnel Sure, it adds complexity to the story and, TBH, Goku + Vegeta + Gohan are more than enough for the shounen part of the story to progress. Having said that, Goku and Gohan went through waaaay more trauma and turned out great fighters.
Goten is not a lazy fighter that is just an extreme overreaction to him wanting to go on a date.
@@Gabu_If we use the super manga as an example. In the most recent chapter, which takes place not long before the end of z, goten and trunks have overall kept up with their training and are about as strong as base gohan and super saiyan gohan so they are absolutely great fighters of course they are.
More like grew up in peace where "dad or my bro can just handle it."

You know, come to think of it, unless the Universe 7 saiyans hook up with the Universe 6 ones somehow, the Saiyan bloodline is eventually going to become so small, it might possibly die out in the future. :p Pan is only a quarter Saiyan so if she marries a full blooded human, they'd only be 1/8th, and then it will just keep getting divided. :?
Oh yeah, Trunks has Mai of all things in Super maybe, but I wonder who Goten could hook up with, if anybody. :p
That’s part of the plot of Dragon Ball Online, the Saiyan blood after hundreds of years eventually got diluted across the human race. With a wish Shenron can unleash the small amount of Saiyan power left if the player character is a human and get SSJ as a form.

IIRC, Toriyama himself stated that more Saiyans than just Goku, Vegeta, Raditz, & Nappa survived the destruction of Planet Vegeta by being lucky enough to be off-world when it happened. He said that around 100 Saiyans survived, but they're spread out across the universe. And some of them have likely died since then, but as long as some female Saiyans survived, it's still possible for the Saiyan race to bounce back.
Though I wouldn't be surprised if it's eventually shown that some U6 Saiyans decided to "migrate" to U7 and live on Earth, and from there wound up starting families of their own and slowly repopulating the Saiyan race.

Notice the theme for Bulma's entire family - Bulma -> Bloomers (Buruma); Trunks -> Trunks (Torankusu); Bulla -> Bra (Bura); There's also her father (Briefs), her mother (Bikini) and her sister (Thights).

they are "saiyans" an "alien" with human form... they aging slower than human.
Saiyans don't start to physically look older until they reach their 80s.
Vegeta explicitly states that Saiyans age slower and stay in fighting form for much longer

I remember clearly back in the day everyone loved it, my friends and basically everyone at school couldn't stop talking about it, we even watched the last episode in middle school and everyone was super sad that it was over. Jump a decade plus later and suddenly "Omg GT was so baaaaaad!" everyone on the internet out of nowhere. I still consider GT the ending of the series and everything after that a side story with how bonkers and crazy things got in Super. Also, Super Saiyan 4 will forever be the best and most lore friendly transformation. It was Goku and Vegeta taming their rage and monkey transformation and using that power. Not that trash that was Super Saiyan God and the dumb "We gather 5 Saiyans, including a fetus and give our ki to one" from Battle of Gods/Super.
@@taigaaisaka6305 Yup yup, I agree GT is great. SSJ4 design is so cool, the design is out of the box and not just some hair color change and the ending is also great. Its so weird how everyone said GT suck just from some youtubers complaint.
Actually, most people who still like it today didn't watch the show as grown ups. I loved GT when I was a kid, but when I rewatched it a few yeas ago I wondered how I could like it that much. There are some great ideas and scenes, mostly at the end during baby and the last arcs, but no, DBGT is bad.

DBZ from beginning Saiyan till the end of Buu, it's all about a loop of battle. The loop like this: new enemy threat > training > fight and win with new transformation > repeat loop. I'm more surprised that people didn't getting tired about this loops stories
GT stories is back to basic of OG DB with space adventure collect DB, some gag on adventure and some serious fight with stakes against unknown creature enemies. And has a perfect ending way to end series of DB
Super is just a addon powercreep with lots new enemies, new setting and zero stakes fighting. They have like 3 type DB absurdly grants wishes solving problems. Super manga stories still keep ongoing and never ending...

Technically this isn't GT, it's the epilogue of Z. Super takes place before this epilogue, with Super Hero happening quite close to it

It's unfortinate that they didn't give the end of z beast gohan power awaken and orange piccolo ssg ssb goku and Vegeta ssbe and ultra ego for Vegeta ssb Kaioken x 10 20 ultra instant omen and completed ultra instent for goku but then again the end of z was the end of dragon Ball z before even drago ball super was a thing

Most of that stuff is the cringiest shit ever. Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan I can accept as a nice, humorous twist, but that beast garbage is clearly fanservice bait, and orange piccolo is a disgrace to his entire character.
You can see Dragon Ball Super as a alternative multiverse sort of thing. Because it wouldn't do to tie up to GT where suddenly all these characters loses their overpowered new transformations and such.
Otherwise they'd have to have Zeno 'retcon' the whole thing and made it non-existence as a deus ex machina.

Besides, the Super timeline is Different from the Z timeline, it's like an add-on continuation of Z (something that Akira Toriyama explain, also Rip), so all that Super has will not change what End of Z has, unless it becomes End of Super

To be honest, Z's ending was absolute ass. Goku has never shown any sign of simply parting with his family for no reason (Don't bring Abridged Goku here. Canon Goku genuinely loves his family) and for him to toss them aside to train a stranger pissed me off, even as a child.
Toriyama, god bless his soul, was showing signs out burn out and fatigue from the start of the Buu saga. Poor guy was probably tired and in a slump and thus gave us one of, if not the worst arc in Dragonball history and an even worse ending.
Lel, Buu is waaaaay better than Cell and the Buu ending is easily one of the best parts of all DB.

@@msbkaioken136 I have no idea what you're talking about. Months? Where did you get that? It was never stated how long it took. In fact, the only source in terms of time we have is GT. While GT isn't Canon, it was stated that it took Goku 5 years to train Uub. In the past, Goku spent time away from his family to train out of necessity, because he needed to in order to defeat the current "bad guy" (longest being a year during the Saiyan Saga training Arc with King Kai and after the Frieza saga training to control his Super Saiyan transformation and learning Instrant Transmission). This time he specifically states he's only training Uub in order to get a good fight outta him. What kinda reasoning is that? I get you're trying to defend a series you love and thats great BUT ignoring the obvious flaws it has is pure ignorance.
Even in Super, Goku leaves to train and quickly returns to his family to help out. Longest he's spent is a few months away.

As for his training with uub it's not like he completely abandoned his family to do nothing but train this new person. He just met as he mentions once again in this very dlc he's gonna come back and visit them and spend time with them. Considering we literally see them using the hyperbolic time chamber in gt it's very likely that most of their training could have been in there anyway. No, he does not specifically state that he says he wants to train someone to protect the future, and the planet that is actually specifically what he says. Vegeta is the one who thinks anything different bro. I thought you were supposed to be paying attention obviously you're not. What kind of reasoning is that a reasoning that you literally didn't understand so I just had to correct you. Obvious flaws, that's absolutely laughable considering the only thing obvious here is how little you paid attention not only to the actual series but her literally playing the game. Canonically Goku didin't leave his family permanently, we see in Neko Majin Z his family came to visit in Uub's village, in the DB manga ending he even said he would visit, he has teleportation, it makes more sense to live with Uub to train him properly, that whole "Goku didin't even speak to his family in 5 years for no reason" thing was from GT.
