  • Although most people do know all 50 states in the United states of America, many find it hard to recollect them all instantly. Here is where our self designed mnemonic comes into play and once you remember one small phrase with 4 numbers, you will never forget a single state for the rest of your life.

Hi Dominic Rose!! We never said Arkansas is in south, what we said was " in the southern hemisphere of the country". Imagine just United states being the whole globe, then Arkansas fall under southern hemisphere. Also technically speaking, Arkansas (/ˈɑːrkənsɔː/)[c] is a state in the "south central" region of the United States,

    Actually, just memorize 'Wacko's America.'
You remember all the states, AND their capitols.
It's so much easier with an advantage of it being catchy. smh

Yeah that is a nice one too. But we are trying to build on a research, which "shows that messages delivered as stories can be up to 22 times more memorable than just facts"

@@5wh732 While I think that is true, you failed to tell this as a story... when I've seen geo people use mnemonics, the ones that worked best where when they told a funny/bizarre story along with it. You were just making up wacky phrases, but there was no meaning or association, besides the KSTV one, which if I may say is a bit of a stretch. Instead of putting abbreviations for multiple mnemonics into a story It's better to have just give each mnemonic it's own shorter story, ie: I went 2 Kansas State to watch TV-- Which even has the numeric info inside of it (using 2 instead of to because that one has all pairs of 2's). Your mnemonics were just too long and had too much info for a meaningful association. Keeping them smaller helps to build those connections to what they're trying to help you memorize, rather than connecting to all the different mnemonic devices at once. Also, it'd be nice if the devices you used had contained the numeric values within them, rather than that being a separate variable to be remembered independently. Just some thoughts, thanks for doing important research! We appreciate it!!!

No you got this, try other mnemonics if you have to, but don’t fail the exam. 👍
