That game feels like someone put a 3D engine on top of Rimworld and said "good enough". The "ate without table" debuff is such a meme that it is impressive that they left it in.
Translates to real life as well. When I am busy in the morning and have to eat in the car then arrive at work... you can see the look on my coworkers collective faces that screams "yeh.. this guy didnt breakfast at a table" - and this effects my charisma for the day.

"Modernizing" RimWorld/DwarfFortress is a great idea. A lot of people tried expanding or just gaining experience making games with clones that kept the same charming low graphics... but bringing the good of the genre forward and culling the bad (which some do enjoy) is great. We need more games like this.
I am 100% here for this game, it looks awesome! Title kind of gave me SMAX vibes and the wildlife being a serious threat is a bit reminiscent though the game is not what I initially expected
12:20 Pravus: "I don't think I see any sources of water on this entire dang planet." *turns to look at snow covered mountains* Me: "... Well I mean... There's all of that?"
The features are systems are familiar and make it easy enough to make it thru the game, although having Pravus show us his most optimal path maybe makes this game look easier than it is. But it's very beautiful and a playthough that shows off just how well they did the graphic design would keep me watching, hope to see more!
Each survivor requires a 5x5 space for a bedroom sounds luxurious but it is needed to get rid of the disturbed sleep debuff also place carpets or parquet flooring to remove the cave dweller debuff
This looks promising. The primary inspiration is quite clear, but it seems that while it very much took it's foundation from Rimworld, it seems to be doing enough of it's own thing both aesthetically and gameplay wise to stand on its own. Curious to see more. The fact that you're encouraged to observe plants and animals to understand what they are is a simple addition that makes perfect sense with the context.
Lord Pravus is like 'This game is more like RimWorld - some people may think too much like RimWorld' The game is like 'Cueing rad RimWorld like Western Soundtrack'
One of the best videos you've done in awhile and that's saying something! Super interested in a FULL series of this! From the looks it wont be as super time consuming as other games like Ixion for you!
This one looks interesting, it's definitely similar to a lot of other games out there, but it seems pretty reasonable mechanics-wise, and it happens to look pretty good, too. Interested to see more.
I am looking forward to seeing this series play out. Also, the guy who got blamed is an architect, so it is only reasonable to suspect he is at fault, not out of maliciousness, but just by being an architect.
a lil tip if you place beds atleast 3 spaces apart, and make them not walk to close to another bed when people are sleeping you decrease the chances for the disturbed sleep debuff.
I very much hope that story generators blow up in the near future. With the steam release of dwarf fortress and games like this in early access I prophesize a bright future for the genre
I love how beautiful this game is. would like to watch this series and see how the game diverges further from rimworld. Oxygen not included is also rimworld like but completely different once you get past the basics.
Wow, you aren't kidding when you say this is VERY similar to Rimworld lol, idk if it's deliberate or anything, bcs they even got the "eating without a table" debuff as well! lmao
Man, you had such an easy to build on start. my landing was between mountainous valleys. lots of scrap and trees nearby but not a lot of room to build.
Really enjoyed the video cant wait for more. I probably will buy the game. You are my source for new games and mods on older ones like hoi4. Hail pravus
Honestly, I'm enjoying the hell out of this one. I don't care if it reminds me a lot of a certain other game. It's different enough that i still like it.
I've been eyeing Rimworld for a long time...this has more eye candy so now I'm eyeing it. Please continue with more episodes. I just wishlisted it on Steam. Hopefully they add the ability to mod the game. I'm still playing Neverwinter Nights from 2002 due to the many great mods.
Haeminont Games? That brings memories... When i was little i always played one of theyr games, called "Tzar: The Burden of the Crown" An RTS, i loved it to death.
That game feels like someone put a 3D engine on top of Rimworld and said "good enough". The "ate without table" debuff is such a meme that it is impressive that they left it in.
Hey, at least it's got more uniqueness than the half-dozen Banished clones all over the place
Planet Zoo with survival mechanics.
I get the rimworld comparison though.

@@davidhart5344 So you go on a "hide in room" or "pyromaniac" breakdown? ^^
@@etienne8110 hahaha yeh something like that lol🤣
The fact that you have to observe the everything to get to know what resources you get out of them is really interesting.
Try Subnautica. You have to scan everything you come across for the same reason.
11:38 - The moment RCE picks this game up, he also will be sure, it was the Architect, who doomed the ship. I am sure of that.
Architects, the enemy of the engineering world

There is no other conclusion to come to.
It was always the Architect.

Would be cool if this is how the ixion game ends and turns into this series
We can only dream
dont remind me man. I wasted so much time to get all the different endings. They all sucked.
@@TheHakanDK it was rushed...
This game seems interesting and I can't wait to see more of it.
It sort of reminds me how we have Satisfactory, an HD remake of Factorio, only now we have this game, which is an HD remake of Rimworld.

very interesting i really liked it
Definitely want to see a series. Seeing how the game develops is a big help in deciding if I want to spend money on them pretty often.

I like what I’m seeing so far. I’d like to see where the story takes you and how your settlement develops. More please.
2:21Quin loves going on expeditions, first thing he does when he crash lands on an unknown planet is cry. Those are tears of joy.
I'm here for this series.
Please make sure Jack gets some more Happiness!
Thank you! A great early stages overview. Showed me exactly the things I wanted to see.
I would like to see more, seems very interesting
Looking forward to more of this game. Can't wait to see how you craft actual guns and defenses
Love watching Pravus play these sort of games. He always makes his settlements look so nice & neat.

Yes more please, this seems fun.
this is super cool, always down for a series!
Im am really liking this game. Hope it goes on for a while.
this game sure looks a nice vibe, would be very interesting if you continue the series

This quickly became my favorite game. I hope the development adds in a lot more content and maybe a world instead of just maps.
It's a very cool looking game, with known mechanics that feel like home, def looking forward to more Stranded Prav
This looks like a great game for a long run! I enjoy it very much!

I would very much like to see a series for this game! Also you're amazing Pravus

Looks great, hope you get enough encouragement to continue.
Helloo! I'm enjoying watching this videooo, I wouldn't mind a series, thank you for the video!
This game is great. Rim World is also great, but I like more realistic graphics of Stranded. Would like to watch more of this!

Obviously it's a lot like RimWorld but it has enough to feel different..
I like the observing system.
haha he IS crying lol - this game actually looks great
omg I can't stop laughing at that tear graphic on his pic - this game is already brilliant
HD remaster of Rimworld? I love it!
Does this mean Rimworld has become its own subgenre of colony survival?
I really would love to see a lot more of this game
This games soo cool!! Pravus, please spam this series
Thanks for the vid, always nice to see new games
This is just like Going Medieval

hope we get more Rimworld-esk options
planet view to pick your starting tile and factions etc.
I'd love to see more of this game.
Was curious about this game thanks!
Eat without a TABLE
I hope this game will be as easily moddable as rimworld. That was the best part of rimworld. People can create their own stuff.
I like the look of this game, I think I'll get it myself now :)
Praise Pravus

I would like to see you do a series on this, love this game so far.
I love the look of this game, might get it and play along
ANOTHER COOL SERIES LEZGO
Rinworld is one of a kind. But the genre and gamestyle they introduced has been and Will be a genre type. This looks pretty good.
please continue the series! also would love a series of the new rimworld expansion.
I've never played Rimworld, but this one seems interesting
3D Rimworld! Woohoo! Let's do it.
