Wilder how is this thing i see good things but then i read up on forums and im not sure if its just people being elitist. but alot of people saying they wouldnt trust this boat. i have 2 little ones so safety is a big concern but having a small car something like this is ideal. probably will only use it in ponds/lakes.
Lif3l3ss Gaming people have been using this boat or a version of it and I have not read of even one person who does not love it.

Wilder seen some negative reviews on amazon but seemed like defects. yeah and some of the research i was doing was on forums and they seemed like most people didnt even use one. seemed like people who believe you need expensive boats or 500 dollar rod and reel setups to enjoy any fishing lol.

Very Nice. I just dont know if I would trust my Excursion 5 on open water though. It doesn't handle waves or rough water too well because it has a flat bottom which is more suited to lakes and rivers.
hey, sorry for the delay. Well, I used on the sea in a cape where the waves are not too high. and as a recomendation i always sail close to the shore. safety first!! cooper!! The problem with the flat bottom as soon as you increase the speed hte surface generate vacumm effect so the boat start stretching as acordeon!!

Has the wind ever blown off your canopy? Most I see are cross bar supports but yours are vertical. I can see the canvas wavering in the wind a little but but it doesn't seem too bad and the vertical bars seem like they would be so much easier and cheaper to fabricate.
Also, yours is one of the few heavily modded boats that doesn't have a floor. Does this affect stability? Do you think your frame through the oar holes counteracts this?

+Zach Easter thanks again for write. The answer is not for the canopy but when the wind is too high better not to use. Remember these verticales bars are pvc. They are strong.. I remember one day.. the boat was on the beach... suddenly the wind blow to high and turn the boat upside down. One of pvc Tee got broken... For the floor. I did it once but I was too heavy to carry.. I did it with 15mm plywood coated with a antislip material... I did not use again. The stability is good with or without the floor and there is not another place to support the frame. I think the para are the perfecto place because they are reinforced and there are 4 points of traction. The speed is the same about 10km per hour máximum with 4 people... after that the nose of the boat start doing a movement similar to an acordeón...something like that... if you have more questión.. I am all ears

This is great. I was looking to see how long it took to air it up. All the other videos fast forward through the process. Thank you. I'm going to get one of these for the lakes and rivers here in Arkansas. Does the material seem to be durable?
+Billy Walker that was the main idea when I did this video. I want to show the people step by step in real time how long it takes for set up the boat. I think with a little help you can decrease the time, also with a better air pump. This one is cheap one. The material is nice, but always the maintenance is mandatory. You must washing it with clean water and hand's soap. REmove all the sand and all the dirty from the beach. Then, YOu need to dry it using a towels. finally, use a vacuum machine to suck the air from the cameras and thats all. put it in the bag and store it in a dry and clean area.

Hola! Consulta, como haces para mantener, cuidar el bote? Al guardarlo? Le pones algún producto si pasa mucho tiempo sin usarse? Lo doblas de alguna manera en particular? Cuánto tiempo tardas en inflarlo?
Hola Andres, lamento responder tan tarde, por alguna razon ya no me avisa youtube de los comentarios, debo meterme y encontrarlos. Bueno, lo mas importante es lavarlo antes de guardar con jabon suave, y secarlo. Luego dejarlo una horas al aire, y luego tu decides si lo doblas o lo dejas inflado medio. si lo doblas, trata de recordar como venia, y le metes unas bolsas de silicagel para la humedad. El tiempo de inflado depende de si usas la bomba o no!! si usas un compresor debes tener cuidado de no psarte de 1.4psig, por que sino lo rompes... estos botes no flotan por presion, sino por el volumen de agua que desplaza las camaras de aire.
No puedes decir que es el mejor video cuando ahy otros mejores y con más información

thanks for your kind words. Well, regarding to the support, The original support is only for 1.5hp motor.. no more than 10kg. Originally, I installed the original support as intex says but when I tried that configuration the motor start to get into the water.. That's why I did the support higher and stronger

. well. I did it. I built the mount bracket because the intex original one is for maximum 1.5hp. The engine is 3.6hp but truly with a 2.5hp will be enough... too much power

Buenos días Álvaro, definítivamente pata corta es la opcion, patalarga genera mucho arrastre y es mas pesado. Cualquier motor entre 1.5 y maximo 3hp es la opción. Este bote no soporta oleaje mas de 50cm segun el fabricante . Yo lo use en bahia concha, en taganga, en puerto velero sin problemas. pero mas abierto como tal no lo recomendaria.

figuefer1 Gracias por escribir. El motor es un neptune 3.6hp.( Si miras en mi canal encontrarás el unboxing de este motor). Realmente hay muchas modificaciones que podrias hacerle, tener una buena carpa y ne refiero a grande que pueda cubrir todo el bote seria lo mejor. El resto de modificaciones si te gusta la pesca es ponerle accesorioa de pesca adicionales. Yo lo usaba únicamente para ir de una playa a la otra. Cualquier cosa, a sus ordenes.

pido disculpas por mi respuesta tarde, la verdad es que he tenido problemas con las notificaciones siempre, y muchas no las veo. Los tubos se consiguen en cualquier ferreteria especializada. son de 1-1/4.

Hola. Gracias por comentar. La estructura la construí yo. En mi canal hay un vídeo donde explico más o menos como se realizó. No la venden para compra. Solo venden el soporte de motor sencillo que solo soporta hasta 12kg.

Karen Zepeda Gracias por ver el video. Intex recomienda maximo 2hp, el motor que le tenia era de 3.6hp. No recomiendo mas de esta potencia, ya que es inutil. Al no tener quilla, el bote se recoge al estilo de un acordeon. Éxitos
Yo tengo uno igual.y con un motor 3.5 y hay que reformar o reforzarle el espejo porque se me dobla para abajo cuando se acelera.no le encontré la vuelta todavia

Mira yo compre uno Excurcion 5, alla dice que la potencia del motor para este bote es de 3 HP, tu usaste uno de 3,6 HP, será que por eso que el motor casi hundi. Mucho muy bueno todo que hiciste. Roberto. Gracias por revisar el video. La potencia maxima es 1.5hp, por eso es la estructura adicional. Igual, pocas veces lleve el bote a maxima velocidad!!! Ya que se crea excesivo arrastre y se empieza a recoger desde la punta,

Gracias por ver el video y compartirlos. El bote esta certificado maritimo, si no hay oleaje, ni brisa no creo que tenga problema. Los Motores electricos no sabria decirte la verdad no me gustan a menos que sean para pescar y en un lago. En el mar,.no lo recomiendo.

Onde será que encontro aquela armação de aluminio que foi colocada no entorno do bote, bem como, aquela base para suporte do motor? Tem algum tel de contato do fornecedor para encomenda?
Polly Valladares Gracias por ver el video. El armazón en aluminio lo construi, usando tuberia de aluminio de 1-1/4 y los acoples que se usan en carroceria de autobuses. Los dobleces los realice en un taller metal mecánico. Mira en mi canal, hay otro video donde se puede ver mas claro. Saludos

Hi. thanks for watching!! Well, I have to build a whole aluminum structure to hold it in place!! My motor was too big (intex recommended 1.5hp or 13kg.motor) for the standard Intex support but mine was 3.6hp... lol.
Trolling motor are the best for that kind of boat. Due to the flat bottom there is not way to increase speed. the boat floor will behave like an accordion!!

oye amigo muy buen vídeo te puedo hacer un par de preguntas otras pues no se si me respondas pero bueno la verdad es que estoy pensando en comprarme un bote de estos infla bles y quiero compararme el tuyo pero como no dispongo de el dinero para un motor quiero saber si es muy difícil remar con este bote si es muy pesado nose y otra cosa como compraste el motor yo soy de Colombia y me interesa ese motor lo compraste online o en medellin y cuanto te costo y también me interesa el techo modificado que le hiciste he estado mirando tus vídeos y al parecer dejaste de subir este bote y te pasaste a otro todavía tienes el intex si es así me interesaría si lo vendes o si no lo vendes me pasarías las medidas de como hiciste la carpa o si no lo vendes en cuanto dejas el motor
Milo9173 Buenas tardes. Gracias por ver los videos. Te cuento que ya vendi el bote incluido el motor. Remar puedes, la pregunta es donde? En el mar seria muy temprano, luego es una tarea muy dura... para lagos estaria perfecto remar... El motor yo te lo puedo ayudar a conseguir, o sino hay varias empresas que lo venden. La carpa esta en un video de mi canal, ahi aparecen las dimensiones. Si necesitas mas info, no dudes en escribir.

Adriano Santos El soporte del motor lo vende intex. Puedes encontrarlo en Mercadolibre o sino, por ebay o Amazon. Pero la estructura adicional la construi yo mismo, ya que el soporte original no soporta motores mayores a 2hp.
