That's awesome
The irony that Ke was called Short Round in Temple of Doom and helped train the 6’2” Jackman to play an originally small super hero.
Corey Yuen is the fight coordinator in that film and Ke Huy Quan served as a translator as well between the Hong Kong stunt team and the American stunt team.
Ah okay that makes more sense then
Corey Yuen directed one of my favorite martial arts films Ninja in the Dragon's Den, starring Hiroyuki Sanada (Scorpion!) and Conan Lee.
Love the intro and corny ninja song to that movie lol
You can see Corey in the BTS for the X-Men film as he is assessing the fight with Ke Huy Quan showing Hugh the fight with the stunt double Wolverine that Mystique takes disguise as during the fight.
@@Brook11223 Didn't he also do the Matrix
@@budgiecat9039 That's Yuen Woo-ping. Yuen Woo-Ping has worked on Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, Drunken Master etc.
Corey Yuen I believe went on to direct the First Transporter film.
