My tip is to not care about what others think and just make yourself happy. I went by myself for my birthday and best trip ever! Pack a back pack with change of clothes cuz you’re gonna sweat. Get there early and take breaks and take it all in. No need to rush. Just be there in the moment. Visit the bar at Star Wars land get a drink and loosen up. 😀👍🏽
Thank you so much. I’m about to get my Uber to the park right now. I’m going by myself. I never was into Disney but I got a magic key pass gifted to me for the year. I don’t know too many Disney movies but I’m going to go to Disney as much as I can this year
It went great! I went and did as you said…just show up and go with the flow. It was overwhelming a bit but I was able to kinda just wonder and get lost in a happy way. It was only my third time ever at the park. I walked and enjoyed the scenery. I think the next time I go I’m going to focus on going on rides and seeing how many I can ride in a day to set a personal record. I’m going to becoming to the park by myself most of the time. I’m trying my best to develop a rhythm. Your video gave me a lot of confidence and knowledge I didn’t know existed. Thank you so much
I'm so glad you had a good time! And I'm glad you're figuring out game plans for future trips! Having a Magic Key absolutely means you can have specific purposes with each trip and make a day of it! I hope you get a lot of joy from it!
Single Rider lines are one of the best savers of time other than Power Hour and Rope Drop. If you can coordinate your group at the exit to meet after at the end it's a time saver. But when solo, so fun not to have to. Excellent Video, and as his friend i know there are more to come.
I love going to Disneyland by myself. I do rope drop and stay until about 3pm. I always stay across the street at a hotel so I can take a nap. Then I go back to the parks around 6 pm and then stay until closing time.
I’m going to Disneyland next month for the 4th time in my lifetime and my first solo and after watching this video and reading the comments I’m even more excited!! Thank you all!!!
I went solo in November and absolutely loved it. Due to knee injury for the first time I had to rent a scooter. I did many "single rider lanes" so the wait lines weren't bad at all. This time I only had to focus on taking care of me. I never once felt lonely - just too much to take in. Next time my granddaughters want to go which is fine - either way I am going to have a wonderful time.
Went solo once … it was the year you got to get in free in your birthday. Very different experience… definitely recommend everyone that is a Disneyland fan to try.
I wish I had friends to go to disney with but I don’t have any and family won’t go nor could I afford to take them all. I need to find a place to meet people who wanna go with me 😫 lol I mean, I am actually ok being by myself sure but I would like to have people to share the excitement with too.
@@everydaymagicdl i was going to end of October now i dont think its happening:((( im so sad. Praying i do next year. Its weirdly hard to find Disneyland meet up groups. Easier to find for wdw

Single rider works well for groups, too, but it's so key to the solo experience!
@@everydaymagicdl Key indeed the best time to Single Rider!!

Great tips! A lot of these are also helpful reminders for any solo theme park or attraction visit too!
Thanks, and so true!

You’ll get so immersed that you’ll forget you’re by yourself. It’s really an amazing experience.
I’m sad I don’t have friends that live there that I could meet up with
So sorry! Drop us a line! We're always happy to meet up at the parks!
