Yes, sometimes it's jut the schwa sound that you hear. The "th" is there but you can't hear that part. People whose first language is Russian have a lot of difficulty with "the."
Yeah, that's a mistake, but the whole sentence is colloquial (language of the people). It's very informal, but that doesn't mean it's bad. You could rewrite like this, "How about if you and I go out for a few drinks...." But then that changes the tone of the question.
Is it possible for you make a lesson on "not only" when it goes at the beginning of a sentence? I've heard that you have to use a helping verb right after "not only" when a sentence starts with these words.
I understood what you said on the video but I'd like to know why (for example)Mt.Fuji is not "the Mt.Fuji" and the Pacific (Ocean) is not "Pacific (Ocean)".I've heard if the thing has shape, such as mountains, lakes,rivers,canyons,ravines...do not put "the" and thing has no shape, such as sea, ...put "the". Am I right?
plz tell me Paul. i have read somewhere that we can use article "The" in front of singular noun to represent whole class of that noun. ex. The cow is useful animal.(mean all cows) i also read that "The" can be used for particular or already mentioned noun. ex. The man ate dinner.(mean man who is mentioned earlier) Now, suppose i read this sentence "The boy is intelligent" in a text somewhere, Than how can i find that they r referring to "all boys" or to "particular boy who is mentioned earlier"?
Sometimes I don't hear the article 'the'. Instead, I hear the shwa sound. Is this true that 'the' is reduced to shwa or it is just a matter of audio quality?
You're the best teacher I ever seen. Thanks for teaching us!

because of the following nouns, we pronounce a before consonants letters and i before vowels
