No question, Kerrod - just a thank you for producing such good videos with enough repetition to emphasize key points.
You're welcome, Don! Thank you for watching!
I really love watching your videos You're pretty much right to the point and you come up with very good instruction. A lot of golfing instructor UA-camrs just talk way too much.
Many Thanks 👍
New camera is 👌🏻
Thanks!
Great Advice
Thanks Lenard 👍
So simple, yet so hard.
Yeah - much easier said than done. The really frustrating part is when you actually start to learn that you CAN do it, and you DO do it - but only SOMETIMES. Arrrrrrggghhh. You know when you do it right; divot tells all.
Great video. Thanks
Glad you liked it!
Really appreciate your instruction. Many thanks. Just noticed a spelling error in description. "copeess". Just thought you may not be aware.
Keeping a straight lead arm is pretty much essential too.
Yeah great for consistency and power.
By pelvis we mean left hip ahead of ball …
And by sternum we mean (roughly) belly button behind?

Kerrod, a big bear hug thanks! I have been binge watching your videos. Each helped me tremendously! You're so under-rated!
One thing, and I'd think the most important thing that never seems to be addressed in golf tutorials is strength. I'd say the number one reason most people struggle at golf is because they're not strong enough. To hit a ball well, and far, not only do you need reasonably good equipment, a good swing, good mental strength and be able to visualise the shot you want to play, but you need to be strong. Most golfers watching thee videos are golfers who don't work out consistently or practice consistently so they don't have the muscles and ligaments in their hands, wrists, forearms, lats, core, shoulders, legs, calves and feet strong enough to swing like the pros who do.
I agree that all aspects are important, however for most people, having the correct technique and good swing mechanics will do much more than purely strength. It is also better to have good technique and then build strength, rather than the other way around.
@@kerrodgraygolf Experience tells me it's impossible to have good technique without enough strength.
@@batfink274you just suck
My experience is strength is definitely secondary to good technique. Theres alot of 6ft blokes using brute strength that cant outdrive my 5ft wife 😂
Totally incorrect. Strength plays a role only on certain shots but hitting the ball in the center of the face with the shaft leaning forward will create much more ball speed no matter how strong someone is than a strong person not doing so.
It would nice if he could clarify the 'center-of-pelvis' in front of the ball.
You can’t even compress every shot, it’s golf, nobody gets it right 100% of the time NOBODY.
90% of amateur players won't ever be able to swing the club with the skill level of a pro golfer ( rotational club release ) ...not sure why so much YT instruction is geared toward that. It only frustrates the 80-100 handicappers out there. More teachers need to relate to the swing of amateur players.
Saguto golf channel might work for you.
i get depression because i cant get compression, how much are in person lessons?
I just released a new video on compression that might help you out. Currently, i'm on tour so I don't offer in person lessons at the moment, however you can always get a swing analysis from me and I should be able to help you out from there.
