It is a amazing hobby/sport! Going white water kayaking is pretty much all I think about! Lol. Definitely find a good group to learn from. The biggest thing to overcome is not getting in your head an getting ok about being underwater in a boat lol
That last rapid was insane. So much raw power and chaos in such a short distance and period of time. It looked a little shallow too, so I'm guessing that swim was a little painful. Sweet run, jealous for sure.
@@MichaelFerraroIV Did you hit your head in the last hole that enters the large catch pool? Or did you flip further up. In the summer you can body surf that last hole and it is safe. Look brutal at high water.
Wow. Sorry about that ouchie at the end. Those high altitude Cally runs are really fun to watch. Great scenery and big fluffy water in bright sunshine.
I hope you don't mind me asking? What is the process do you keep scouting all those continuous rapids or do you just know the river so well. Or is it all read and run.
Timothy White this was my third lap down this river so I knew most of the main rapids. The guys I went with had also been at least 3 or 4 times. So with our combined knowledge we were able to get down the river and only scout a few times. As a General rule if I can see the next eddy or opportunity to get out I’ll go down to there
Just saw this now - damn, that water is beautiful and big! So was it that curler that tossed you over and pinned you? Because it looks like there's a good recovery pool immediately after.
@@MichaelFerraroIV Damn, that's scary. Glad you're OK . Rivers are very humbling. Did you swim with the boat/paddle or did one of the S-Bros. get them to shore further down?
9:21...I cant smile any bigger! Awesome run.
FLEWWWW
1 min in and I don't know if I can stop watching. Hooked. Just got my first kayak.

Not pinned, its a huge ledge then into a super nasty hole. But yeah, big pool.
Just let us see the prototype! Haha
excellent hood
Damn, what a beat down! Hope it turned out OK - Stitches? When did you decide to pull the skirt - Before or after the bloody hit?
chesky baba I actually didn’t pull my skirt! It was so violent that it ripped me out of my kayak. I got hit in the head first though.

What were your injuries after the swim??
first descenders took four days and portaged about 25% of the run. The sport has come a long way.
T Tank ironing this run out has taken quite some time. I think I’d portage more than that If I was in an old school boat
Heromosos rapidos
so what is it the new boat can do that others can't?
sorry for the inconvenient question^^
Lord of Nothing 9ft and real fast 🤫 coming soon
Is that the new prototype
Does Liquid Logic have a new 9ft race boat coming out?
1stVARifleman I don’t know I know someone who has a boat that looks just like that so maybe 😏
@@1stVARifleman yes
I just peed a little lol. You're badass or crazy. How often you hit your head this run?
Dirt Diggler Metal Detecting just the one time good lines otherwise 😁
@@MichaelFerraroIV I love your videos. catching up. watching all them. :)
Is that a remix?
What class is this? 4+?
Are you serious this is V
Rorschach it’s some of the most difficult whitewater people can paddle. Seems like sandbagging to call it class 5.
That’s definitely not the amateur run lol
