Honestly I was more impressed they found a c4 with a fully working gauge cluster.
I lucked out on my 86 C4. Zero issues with the gauges.

I share your sentiment! When it finished going thru the still shots and the video really started, I kinda dropped my jaw n was “Dude!!” It could be a freaking tv commercial!

If you think a Chevy Cruze is stunning, power to you, but it looks they they took a bunch of old parts and modified them a little to be one of the most tasteless looking sports cars I've ever seen. Bout as awe inspiring as a 2011 Malibu
hmm hmm of course it’ll be far superior than the C4 just like any car with those many years apart. C4’s are much much slower than what it is. During its time it wasn’t horrible. Now the C8 is a completely different fucking animal. Huge game changer, the power, the specs for the price? Can’t beat that.
This is just a “yes” to everything about this car. The lighting, headlights, classic interior, and the music. They’re all just perfect

@@MrJr1976 an auto would be the best for racing though in theory, since you will never be able to shift faster than a computer. IMO autos will never be as good as standards in any situation though. Way more fun to drive and easer to kick out 🤫
Lil Dip I don’t think this guy is doing any drifting it’s a show car. And probably a weekend driver. I personally have a CVT and it’s great for daily driving. If I’m driving around town, I’d rather not think about clutching and shifting that way.

Carlos Cardenas 84-89 C4s had this all digital cluster. 90-96 went back to mostly analog

C4’s are pretty bouncy.😂 Me and a friend put lowering bolts on his c4 holy sh!t that thing became hella bouncy.
I'm pretty sure hes on airbags. I've had one before and it was a super stiff ride

I got Long tube headers on my 99 LS1 Camaro SS and I thought mine was low too lol.
This gives me a new respect for the C4
C4's are the lowest stock Corvettes i believe.
I dont know why but i keep coming back to watch this. Maybe its The lighting, the car, the music and the camera angles that pull me back in. There all so perfect.

@@ss_fiend I don't know I heard the LT1 was pretty much the LS1 of it's time before the LS engines became a viable option.
@@ss_fiend because of the optispark? If you get a good one, such as one from Petris enterprises, You wont have problems with it. Allot of c4 owners with the lt1's replace the oem unit with a cheap one and have problems shortly after.

Well that’s how it’s starts. Lots of people like it, so then they want to make theirs like this and then people look for them
C4’s will climb in value as they continue to disappear. Maybe a few special ones will hit 6-figures, but they have nowhere to go but up from here anyway. The problem is just the amount of work you have to put into it to make it a fast car. Looks wise I always thought it was a simple and elegant shape. Great potential for people looking to go wild with body mods, but victim to emissions. Cali plates makes me feel even worse for that car. What’s a Cali C4 pushing? 115hp? :D

Chrysler made 4 of the cars used in the wrath, turbocharged 4 cylinder and the brought in people with Ferrari experience to help tune and boost the engine output, it was not a "KIT CAR" it was a prototype they found to cost way to much to sell to consumers and be profitable

video to explain how appreciated the car still is current day. Then… I purchased a red manual C5 yesterday… and stumbled upon this videos C5 follow up. Gave me goosebumps.
This video is literal art, and explains thru visuals what words can not - regarding the nostalgic feel these cars invoke. When coupled with the appreciation abroad, just really gets to you.
