- The perfect homage to a legend; Ayrton Senna.
Many people don't know, but by chance, Senna, was given a drive of the Honda NSX Prototype back in 1989 where he advised Honda engineer's of changes that needed to be made. Honda listened with one of the biggest changes being stiffening the over chassis rigidity by 50%.
Roland has built upon an amazing base and truly made a car that Senna would be proud of.

In my opinion Because before people buy nice cars, now people buy fast cars so honda to make cars with high performance. And that ideas are apposite. so people's necessities change through by the time and now is fast cars after people need small cars, cheeps and frindly with the planet. Sorry my English if my English has wrongs.
Honda could literally just bring this exact design back in 2019 and make killer money, this design is amazing.
preeeetty sure someone in the honda department said that and one of the execs probably said "NO WE CAN NOT DO THAT, WE GOTTA IMPROVE AND MAKE NEW THINGS!"
This is literally THE truest statement ever made on UA-cam, or even the history of mankind. I agree 110%.
Exactly! I don't understand why the heck did they bother to change a damn thing on the design! They could've just updated the engine and electronics a bit with some modern touch, probably the interior, and a well tuned power steering. Then they can simply call it a day and sell the new car for sh** load of money!! Every car enthusiasts will say SHUT UP & TAKE MY MONEY if they do exactly that!! Why make that new hybrid thing and call it NSX???!!

Very clean looking car, perfect design, driven by function. As a BMW fan and owner I don't really like Hondas, but man, this is one hell of a car!
Yeah difference is when you drive out of the dealership with a BMW you instantly lose like 20% of it's value where as JDM cars are going up in value.
Attila Vidacs You totally don't know anything about cars, do you. Well allow me to enlighten you. *All* mass produced new cars lose 15% - 25% value the moment they leave the dealership. Some models however become classics or become desirable/ rare for various other reasons and go up in value with time. There are plenty of BMW cars going up in value. That said, a honda will always be just a bucket of rust, whereas BMW is a german flagship of quality
Apparently, your favourite cars are as poor as your nerves and your speaking manners. I will stick to the refined German engineering. Case closed.
Lighter In The Storm "refined" yeah right, if it was refined they wouldn't break as much dumbass also you never answered my question if your bmw just go up in value than why can you buy a e36 for $600? Or a m5 for 8k?
It took you quit a lot of time to regurgitate a single point with no background whatsoever. 1) All cars break if poorly used. Including your asian brands. 2) Scroll up. You have been told many times over it depends on a model, build, year, type and condition of a car. There are 20-30 year old models that go for 120k usd

NSX's have less power than a modern Camry now man. Better design? On what world stage was this car successful in racing? Zero. Literally zero. JGTC is not world stage btw if you're going to go down that road.
@@user-xk5uu6yk5q nobody mentioned power or racing success, just design. This car, with this particulary parts on is really beautiful, and it's 280 hp v-tec is a masterpiece and a piece of history, and sure enough it can give sensation that a camry can't
@@michelemuffato3868 The NSX didn't even come with VTEC for a long time, yet Honda had been using it for a decade beforehand. Several car companies had been putting variable valve timing before the NSX did. That dude didn't specify any specific designs, either. You're assuming he was just speaking about aesthetics. Seemed like he was talking about the car as a whole, no? As far as power and being a piece of history...to put things into perspective: it looked like a super car, but didn't perform like one and it was slower than an E36 M3, but cost more. It's a gem for JDM fan boys and nothing more. That's about it. Also, Honda had been using VTEC since the early 80s. The NSX motors were not pioneering or historical in any way. Compared to 2JZGTEs and RB25/26/DET/DETTs...it's not even comparable. Less power, less reliable, less available, less sought after (for good reason), etc. But yet it costs as much as a supercar to fix lol. They look and sound good, but that's about it.
@@user-xk5uu6yk5q well he wrote "has a better design than many modern cars" so i assumed he was talking about aesthetics, but whatever.. I must admit i'm not an expert or a fan of any kind, but in the past 2 weeks i watched a lot of review of the nsx and everybody describes it as a masterpiece, not for the specs, just the car itself, and because of the contribution of Ayrton Senna, so i felt in love with the history of the project.
It was surely an expensive car for what it offered on paper, probably i have to drive one to understand it.
@@michelemuffato3868 Then maybe you shouldn't talk about things that you are not educated on. I see some people say Senna had input on the NSX, but no one has ever said how other than a video of him test driving it at Suzuka once. He was used as a marketing tool to sell them, that's all. It's like when Mercedes says Hamilton has input on their road cars. Everyone knows it's a marketing scheme. I'm guessing if Senna had a fair amount of input, he'd have said the car needed far more power than the original 250hp. Also weird that this video has Senna in the title...there was never a Senna model of the NSX. The dude put Senna in the title because it comes up in the search results for "senna". Person who runs this channel is a scammer. Am pretty sure Camry's don't have an issue with snap oversteer btw. Look at what most modern cars can do on the nurburgring compared to a stock NSX. It's not even comparable. And most of them don't suffer from throttle-lift oversteer like the NSX did. I know people want to glorify the NSX because it's nostalgic, but that's all those things have going for them: nostalgia. Not only that, there's cars from the 70s that were quicker around a track. I don't get the obsession people have for the NSX. Good looking car and sounds amazing, but that's it. Had no new technology, low power, suffered from snap/throttle-lift oversteer, massively overpriced, etc.

Those tests are actually just press events to introduce the Cars. Some UK Motor Journo who was present at both debunked the development story. That doesn't take away anthing from the Car though.
