My take on HMC now that the kit is final (if i'm not wrong) with build, and synergy (I'm no guide maker but I want to do shit to get some opinions about my take and discuss it further): - HTB's talent is useless. with S2 Cogs, HTB Ult is already has Perma uptime: (6 energy * 7 hits) -> 42 + 5 (from Cogs S2) * 3 turns = 141/140. Some might say it's for SP positivity, but i digress. Any other rotation will brings you to either use 5% planar or ERR which is a lost of BE. So while I understand, I still disagree. -Skill is actually not that bad. With ult up and your enemy(es) weakness broken, you can already deal quite amount of damage to be considered as Sub-Dps because of the 7 hits that will be converted into Super Break Dmg. this is also the reason you want to skill spam. -With you can only use one Watchmaker set (its effect can't stack), and Ruan Mei already can go 3 turn rotation, I, myself, will build my HMC as Sub-Dps when the next BE + Def Pen relic drops. -Almost all the changes to HTB since V1 were nerfs: 1. The ult gave you super break damage based of 108% your break base damage (Ult lv 12) which means you could buff your base break DMG from 3767 (LV80 char) into 4,068. now it's fixed 100% which means it will always stays 3767 2. While supposedly a *Bad translation* the first trace went from 30%/40%/50%/60%/70% but now it starts from 20% and ends with 60%. Which is a 10% nerf in my eyes. -Final verdict: •The goods: HTB is a unit that can ups all of your allies dmg floor to be considered as Sub-Dps (if you use some BE sub stats on them), good BE enabler but really prone to power creep (which is okay, HTB is free), while His value drops against non imaginary weakness, the character is still pretty good as Sub-Dps in the team, once the enemy is broken. The value itself is comparable with decent 4 stars with the power to enable your allies as good Sub-Dps. is mid-late investment character. •The bads, i'm really disappointed with the "Nerfs" and the useless talent. The biggest offender for me is the talent. If it gives +10 energy to all allies (or at the very least, the ally who broke the enemy's weakness) it should be okay, but they decide to give *NOTHING* as the talent. Which is where my pessimistic view of future BE enabler (Ruan Mei is not BE enabler, she is buffer) stems from, Hoyo definitely already decide to make a new BE enabler with actual talent, Sig LC, and better skill. -Build: •Stats: *Chest* : whatever with highest speed and BE/ ATK (for Sub DPS. Why not Crit? At E6, that give HTB a 7-hit boosted skill for free every ult (Or however else you want to use the sp lol)
It’s pretty op if wanna use hypercarry HMC. He gets ult faster than Ruan and can abuse LC’s passive. At the stages with only imaginary weakness HMC works really well

Break damage doesn’t scale off of crit or attack, so Yukong’s ult wouldn’t really boost the break damage. Her A4 trace would be the only thing that helps (and even then, it’d only help for the Img Supporting units’s damage and not the DPS’s damage), but there are probably better options Edit: I suppose Yukong’s talent that boosts toughness depletion would be nice but not needed. They didn’t really struggle to lower toughness

Great vid, i am looking forward to build a kind of omny break team with Acheron, silverwolf, welt as sustain (and 2nd nihility bc i got unlucky on acheron banner) and harmony tb. The theory behind this team is that acheron can omni break any element with her ult plus silverwolf can implant either quantum, thunder or imaginary. So basically all my units would contribute to breaking the enemy and constantly delaying them plus welt ultimate. I really hope it will work because i love the rought of welt sustain with a break support to help with both dmg and survivability by controlling the enemy. Toughts on this? (i think ruan mei would fit even better but sadly i dont have her)
@SlL222 oh amazing, he's usable with only... Ghallaghwr(more break effect means more healing) Sam's kit(break means more dmg). Bothell (more break effect means more smg) xueyi and so forth. Yet, it is useless for 75% of the cast. New mc is doggie. Just because there is 1 outlier doesn't make him any better. Tingyun, ruan mei, bronya can out perform. Atk% and dmg% will usually perform better.

Just lost my E1 Aventurine to a Bailu. I had planned to get Boothill for a while now, so i was pretty happy. Seeing as HTB is gonna be a Break Buffer im way more excited.
On the right conditions, Harmony Trailblazer can deal 100k damage on a weakness broken Elite enemy using the Bounce skill. Skill also generate lots of energy for consistent ult.
TB doesn’t provide much of a bonus at all to dot teams. So no, he won’t be better than Asta. The reapplication of break damage won’t boost the dot damage at all. He’ll only boost the dots obtained by weakness breaking, through his small, teamwide break effect buff. I’m also in the same boat as you haha, I joined the game shortly before Ruan Mei’s banner ended, and I went for Kafka and Black Swan.

Taking Bronya at 300 is pretty much a given unless you already have her, so what possible reason is there to use HTB over Bronya, even with Ruan Mei as second suppprt? The answer is simple - there isn't. Bronya just gives much more, Tingyun gives much more, Pela gives much more in raw numbers, Asta is a discount Ruan Mei, and gives a lot too, Hanya, underrated and nerfed as she is, still very much placeable in a lot of teams. Even Yukong is a very serious Crit buffer. There's no place for HTB in any team. Hypercarry has better free options, DoT has better free options, FuA has better free options. Break team _requires_ Ruan Mei, a limited 5 star, and HTB can't even contribute to breaking in a non-imaginary target. That kit is a disposable trash and should be revamped into something good. I'm not a Genshin player and don't want to eat shit just because I like the game.

@@oghenekenoekelemu6865 I think Sam already will prefer him over ruan mei if the rumors are true, because she wants to break the enemy multiple times instead of having them broken forever, plus she wants to get hit like other destructions units, there is already many showcases of harmony tb without ruan mei and they work great anyways, the damage is lower without her but still adds a lot in a break effect team when the enemy is already broken and you are in a weird state waiting for them to recover Even in the cases where HTB can't contribute to breaking an enemy they still get the benefit after the rest of the team did it, like boothill that can implant physical, sam could implant fire weakness

TB doesn’t provide much of a bonus at all to dot teams. So no, he won’t be better than Asta. The reapplication of break damage won’t boost the dot damage at all. He’ll only boost the dots obtained by weakness breaking, through his small, teamwide break effect buff.
I’m also in the same boat as you haha, I joined the game shortly before Ruan Mei’s banner ended, and I went for Kafka and Black Swan.

@@someoneidkwho860 it only buffs the damage that happens the moment the enemy bar is broken, any attack after that is not affected by BE, unless you are under HTB ultimate

Taking Bronya at 300 is pretty much a given unless you already have her, so what possible reason is there to use HTB over Bronya, even with Ruan Mei as second suppprt? The answer is simple - there isn't. Bronya just gives much more, Tingyun gives much more, Pela gives much more in raw numbers, Asta is a discount Ruan Mei, and gives a lot too, Hanya, underrated and nerfed as she is, still very much placeable in a lot of teams. Even Yukong is a very serious Crit buffer. There's no place for HTB in any team. Hypercarry has better free options, DoT has better free options, FuA has better free options. Break team _requires_ Ruan Mei, a limited 5 star, and HTB can't even contribute to breaking in a non-imaginary target. That kit is a disposable trash and should be revamped into something good. I'm not a Genshin player and don't want to eat shit just because I like the game.
@@Mr.Heller Eh you say that but you dont know unless it is in the game plus star rail is quite generous so you shoukd have an optimistic aspect on things plus you say that harmony tb is pointless but then mihoyo will start busting out like 12 meta characters that work perfectly with them and it is more likely since they are free.
@@oghenekenoekelemu6865 I think Sam already will prefer him over ruan mei if the rumors are true, because she wants to break the enemy multiple times instead of having them broken forever, plus she wants to get hit like other destructions units, there is already many showcases of harmony tb without ruan mei and they work great anyways, the damage is lower without her but still adds a lot in a break effect team when the enemy is already broken and you are in a weird state waiting for them to recover
Even in the cases where HTB can't contribute to breaking an enemy they still get the benefit after the rest of the team did it, like boothill that can implant physical, sam could implant fire weakness
