Congratulations Ricky! Every single one of the subscribers was earned through your skill and talent and it's deserved. Here's to another 50k which you'll receive in no time. Keep up the amazing work bro.
Dude, I found your channel a couple months ago as the Pheobe Bridgers video popped in my algorithm. I just felt: "Finally, I find someone who's had the exact same questions in mind as I had, and not just answered them for themselves but also found the strength and patience to share it with the world in a well thought after / well produced video format." I have a MASSIVE respect for your determination to make us independent producers a stronger and better informed community :) Cheers from France! -G
Made it here from your Garden Song video. The first time I heard that tune it blew me away sonically and you gave voice to a lot of what I couldn't put my finger on! I'm a musical theatre artist and a pianist so have come to the music production world only recently. Thanks for being an educator for those of us who just discovered this artform!
You've given me confidence that the quality of studio you're working in doesn't matter near as much as your skill and determination to make the best music you possibly can. Thank you so much for the effort you put into your videos, and I hope you continue making the kind of content you enjoy and are proud of!
I think there's just something about this channel that makes it appeal to so many of us. Diving into the questions we all had to search through dinky online forums but in an engaging and reliable format. Congrats and thank you audiohaze for your work 🎉.
Just dropping by to say thank you for the tremendous attention to detail in all of your videos. Anyone who learns *After Effects* to make *music production* videos clearly knows the little things matter... We see your work and we love it. Thanks again! -Grant
In my opinion I think you’re blowing up cuz you’re doing what no one else really is, most people will give out shallow mixing tricks and tips that may very marginally boost someone’s mixes while you’re literally analyzing videos and doing deep dives into interviews to figure out precisely what these producers and audio engineers are doing like a detective. The channel is truly a breath of fresh air, keep it up!
I came here from getting the Phoebe Bridgers video in my feed like I'm sure a lot of others did. With how well done it was, I was incredibly shocked when I got to the part that said "We're a relatively small channel please consider helping out" and scrolled down and you didn't have like 500k subs lol. I went and binged through a lot of your similar videos and even told my friends about it. I'm not even the target audience, I work at a commercial studio. You really got a good thing going and it was cool to hear the backstory on how you got there. Definitely going to remember that next time I feel scared to take a creative leap.
I don’t guess I realized you only had a few thousand subscribers when I subscribed. Been watching for a year or more BUT I started commenting and engaging after the shift. That Radiohead series really showcased your talents and value as a teacher. We need that way more than mic reviews and my opinion is that is why your channel is exploding. At any rate, congrats and I’m here to watch it skyrocket further!
Hey Ricky, congrats on 50k! Everything you mentioned about resisting the urge to feed the analytics is so relevant and I'm really glad the content pivot worked out so well for you. I personally find these forensic-style bedroom production analysis vids not only helpful, but also incredibly empowering and inspiring. Keep on doing what you do, and thank you from the bottom of my heart. This humble channel has taught me more than most others on this platform, while encouraging me to work with what I've got.
Congratulations!!! As a bedroom producer, I’m always excited to see one of your vids pop up. Love the mission and can’t wait for more vids in the future 😁
I'm glad that one of the first things you pointed out on your path towards creating the content you wanted to make was learning After Effects because that was one of the first things I noticed about your videos when I first found your channel. Your production quality is so much higher than it ever really needed to be for a bedroom production channel, but I think that's just one of the many things that helps it stand out in a sea of similar videos. You have such an attention to detail in all aspects of your production -- it makes your videos so much more engaging and gives you so much credibility as a content producer and teacher. Best of luck in all your future videos. I'm glad I was here at the start (well, two years after it, but hey)
I am so happy for you!! 😊 I am one of the new followers and I just LOVE the videos you have been making recently. You put so much work into them and totally nerd out, without making it hard to understand for people who are new to the subject 🥹✨️ Also: It's really calming to listen to you! The only thing that could make your videos better, would be more shots of your studio assistants... 😇🐈💜
Found your channel when I was shopping for a new microphone, and you sold me on an MV7 with your review! I love the direction you've taken the channel in over the last few months, and congratulations on 50k :)
The Phoebe Bridgers video hit a needed spot! I was just doing some research on how to get that guitar sound and the digital degradation. Thank you all the info :)
I love this direction and I love that you listened to the little voice! I did enjoy your shootout with your personal and very artistic twist, but it could be endless shopping of mics. This is exciting. Ive been here for a long time, when you had much less subs and really enjoy your videos. The new one on Phoebe Bridgers was absolutely crazy well done. Hats off.
WOW! I found you a couple of months ago when one of your videos popped up on my yt home page. It's insane to see how far you've come, and I love every one of your videos. I learn a lot from the 'how to produce like...' videos! Great job! ❤
Respect. THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER!! Happy to see it. (Also, VERY MINDFUL of you to address the telegram bots that really mess with peoples lives.) Getting back into production and i've just been blown away and have so many more videos in the archive to see now.
I'm actually so happy a small channel like yours grown so well !! Since i'm in the production world I love how you explain and see things and learned a lot, thank you and keep it going :)
I hadn't realized that I've been watching you since you were just starting out! You continue to amaze me and I am so happy to see your (much deserved) growth.
🎉 congratulations for the 50K, I had u on my feed for a while but i forgot to subscribe until recently. I really enjoy your way of treating subjects!! Keep it up man, u’re a great inspiration!
The quality and comprehensiveness of your content is unmatched, your attention to detail really comes through in your videos and makes your content really stand out. As someone who's just getting into songwriting / producing for fun, you've been one of the best resources I've found that really breaks down the whole process in a digestible and informative way. Keep it up!!
Dude congratulations on the 50k it’s so well deserved the effort on every video shows and keeps the engagement. Also I want to thank you for the Tame Impala video as I was always super curious but never had time to research myself
Been watching since October of last year. Have not regretted sticking along through it all, because your content is changing the game! So happy to see where you're taking things. Thank you!
Congrats for the 50k. I've been watching you since the mic reviews. Trouth be told, I wasn't subscribed. When you started making the video essays about low budget legendary albums you gave me a reason to subscribe and become one of my favourite production channels.
Heck yeah! It's about time, honestly it could easily have happened sooner, you're videos have always been top-notch! And thanks so much for the opportunity! ❤🔥
This is great. I feel like I have learned lots from your content in the small time I have followed you. Even though I have minimal experience mixing and likely won't get an impressive result, I take this as opportunity to challenge myself and learn lots in the process. Enjoy the process everyone :)
I found your channel really recently, like within the last month, while looking for reviews, but 100% have stayed for the educational content and incredible documentaries. I can’t imagine how scary it must have been to make that pivot, but it’s been so cool to see, even in just the short time I’ve been here. So excited to see where things go from here!!
It's super well deserved. I don't care about your giveaway. You're doing something thing the average Joe needs and the algorithm knows what I want. My stuff sucks. I don't have a massive studio. Like everyone else I often think I'm probably just one piece of decent hardware I can't afford away. My favourite videos are when you take the shittiest equipment and do mind blowing stuff with it. Combine that with you actually doing something you WANT to do (and it always shows). It's a killer combo. I wish you every bit of success and for my own selfish reasons, I hope that for many more years it never feels like work.
One other piece of feedback while I think of it (like it even matters). The best lecturers, physicists, geneticists, scientists etc I know have one thing in common. They know all that book stuff but can do something that's surprisingly more difficult than you'd think. They can drag themselves out of the deep dive technical and give a short, 25 words or less summary. Then they show you how to APPLY some theoretical thing, often with a side of "here's what I know from personal experience". I notice you do that. A lot. It's very engaging. I actually watch your whole videos. The best gear reviewers build up a level of trust that can become a curse. Why watch the whole video when I can just skip to the end and you'll tell me if I want it?
Dude... do WHATEVER you want... the growth is directly correlated to you being you, so follow your instincts, cover what you find interesting yourself and I expect you'll be doing a 100K giveaway soon... your video on Bon Iver and Tame Impalla got me hooked and I've REALLY enjoyed the newer ones on Nirvana and Billie E... it's a concept like Beato's "what makes this song great" BUT! you're covering it from a completely different angle and a format nothing like what Beato does, I mean that in the most complimentary way possible.. you have a thing with that and I'm loving it and clearly lots of others do too. Congrats on the 50K man! You should start planning that 100K giveaway before it sneaks up on ya :)
The content switch was noticable. I found your channel before but it was one amongst many. I saw one or two videos. They were really good and Informative but there was nothing that connected with me on a level below that and left me wanting more. Your new content on the other hand is about somehting that you care about and people like me, that care about the same things, really connect with that. It's ultimately the same with music. There's tons of "good" music out there, but the artists that get/keep you interested are the ones that make music that they care about. It's really the only way to make art that connects and also art, that is sustainable and does not drain you, because you constantly ignore what you actually want to do and instead pump all your energy into satisfying someone elses supposed interest(because in the end you can't really know). In other words, keep up with what you're doing. It works because you care about it and there are other people out there, that care about the same stuff.
My songs for this new record would sound like shit if it weren't from you. Thank you so much for giving a fuck about the bedroom guys, grinding away with back problems, bad eyes from gleaming screens, nearly cross eyed and with worn out ears, those of us who don't sleep until the song is done. You are truly a beautiful resource for us. I thank you. We thank you.
A buddy of mine just recommended your videos and I'm really enjoying your mix deep dives! I've been audio engineering for about 12 years and it's great to learn new techniques and ideas from you. Really helping up my game. Appreciate you!
Congratulations on 50K, Ricky! I've been following your channel since around 5,000 subscribers. I started watching for the mic reviews, and made a purchase or two via your affiliate links. But it was always your presentation style, intelligence, and obvious talent that drew me in and kept me watching. And when you broadened your content range I was right there with you, even though I will probably never pursue home studio recording and/or mixing. I suppose what sets you apart is that, beyond the mad guitar skills, extensive knowledge, and technical understanding, you are a wonderful storyteller.
the first video i watched of this channel was the one about billie (huge billie and finneas fan) and when i watched that, i was SURE that this channel had 500K+ subscribers. this is the best channel for any music producer out there and i cannot wait for what you have in store for us. congrats on 50K!
Found your channel like 4 days ago and have been binge watching. Congrats on the milestone. Your videos have been pushing me to finally start recording my own stuff.
Found your channel a couple of days ago, been benching the episodes. Thanks for all the inspiration and keep bringing this awesome content! Cheers from Sweden.
Congratulations on changing your channel to what you really want to do. Your old content was very helpful as well. You helped me to get started with some equipment, and I appreciate that!
Its nice to see the channel doing well. I found you with your sm7b vs sm57 video from two years ago, but your recent mix breakdowns and fantastic editing have really got me hooked, so keep making them please
Long time lurker, first time commenter. Thank you for you service in all these videos. You're teaching me way more than I ever thought I knew and slowly helping me set up my own home studio..
I'm a newer subscriber but it's still insane to see your recent growth these past few months, you really got me hooked because of the bon over video you mentioned.
Always thought you had criminally low subs for the quality of your work. Awesome to think you're finally getting some recognition, Cheers for all you do
Hey Ricky, Just wanted to congratulate you on the 50k. I came here one or two month ago on the search of what guitar Justin Vernon used and stayed for the other videos (Radiohead for sure and also loved the Tame Impala one). So I'm pretty much one of those guys in the spike. None the less I really enjoy your videos. Your calm way of explaining stuff is what I'm looking for. I'm a bedroom producer since years (it's way to long). So not everything is new or exciting but in every of your videos I find a few nuggets of knowledge. That's inspiring. Don't know if I find the time to do a (re-)mix of Weird Fishes (also there a enough unfinished projects on my harddrive). TL,DR: Thank you and congrats!
Wow! By the time I watch this video you already have 56k subscribers! That's mindblowing and I'm super proud of you. I feel so happy to be a part of this community Also your latest videos are something out of this world, so professional but with a soul of a true passion.
I've been following since pretty early (if not quite day 1) and I was super glad to see the pivot. Hardware review stuff seems like the easier road to follow and we need more and better educational videos on this platform. Congrats on 50k!
Congrats on the 50K!! Yes, your video on Bon Iver was amazing but it wasn't I saw a recent video of Phoebe Bridgers that I subscribed. Definetely the content I wanted to see as inspiration and getting to know tremendous artists. And btw, I now like your cover more than the original (sorry Phoebs..). Thanks for the opportunity to win the mics!
One of the best production and mixing channels out there, simply because you're covering great music . I mean: bon iver, Radiohead, tame impala, Phoebe bridgers. You can't go wrong..
Honestly I found you a month ago since I’ve started my microphone search and you’ve eliminated so many of the headaches I’ve had in this journey 🥲…still gotta pull the trigger on something. Had to do a double take on the sub count cause the quality of your content is insane! Excited to see what’s to come as a newly subscribed music uh… (what do you call your fans lol 😂)
Been following your channel for a few years now. I first found you looking for mics, and saw how much you loved the SM57. I never ended up picking one up, but loved your passion and explanations. Glad to see you're doing great.
I agree with you. I think doing what you really want does somehow show up in inexplicable ways. Maybe it is the algorithm like you said, but I think people just gravitate toward truly genuine content and when boat loads of people show up, the algorithm rewards that by sending you another boat load of people, creating incentive to keep doing the thing. Keep it up bro.
Really enjoying the content you've been making! I think the How to Sound Like Radiohead video was what got me into the channel a few months ago. Keep it up, I can only see your channel getting more popular from here!
I am so glad that you've found joy without chasing the algorythm. It's a treadmill that's aweful to run on. And hey, I keep coming back to watch, so there's that.
Congrats, bold move...great to see it pay off so well. I'm a firm believer in ignoring whatever you think 'the algorithm' is doing and just make content you are proud of and that you would want to watch. Do that, and you win automatically - because you are doing what you love, but odds are a lot of other people will like it too and you'll 'win' in terms of views and subscribers too....because that's what 'the algorithm' really is anyway, a measure of what people actually like.
hell yeah man, big congrats, been following your channel since like mid 2021, loved your mic reviews, love the new content man. Such a service you're doing bringing your research and perspective to the world of recording. i love your approach and just you as a dude seem real cool. much love man, congrats!
discovered your channel through the pheobe bridgers video and subscribed about halfway through. its cool to see someone make what they want. i think making videos you are truely passionate about will always be quality because the effort will be there and it will be genuine.
Thank you man, you deserve it, its amazing what time and passion can make after a while. feeling inspired to try the Radiohead mix too, gonna get out of the comfort zone on that one for sure thank you again! keep it up
Congratulations Ricky! Every single one of the subscribers was earned through your skill and talent and it's deserved. Here's to another 50k which you'll receive in no time. Keep up the amazing work bro.
Thanks man :) I can’t thank you enough for all the support up over the last few years, means a ton
This makes me happy too as an avid Podcastage viewer also. 🤍
you wild and crazy guy...
Dude, I found your channel a couple months ago as the Pheobe Bridgers video popped in my algorithm. I just felt: "Finally, I find someone who's had the exact same questions in mind as I had, and not just answered them for themselves but also found the strength and patience to share it with the world in a well thought after / well produced video format."

Cheers from France!

Ah thanks so much man!! Seriously stuff like this makes all the time worth it, I can't thank you enough
Congrats 🎉🔥💥🔥 It's well-deserved! And thanks for the chance!
You've given me confidence that the quality of studio you're working in doesn't matter near as much as your skill and determination to make the best music you possibly can. Thank you so much for the effort you put into your videos, and I hope you continue making the kind of content you enjoy and are proud of!
Well deserved! Started following at around 1K and it always bothered me that your content doesn't get enough attention. Congrats!
I think there's just something about this channel that makes it appeal to so many of us. Diving into the questions we all had to search through dinky online forums but in an engaging and reliable format. Congrats and thank you audiohaze for your work 🎉.
@pm-meviamyprofile no they haven't :/
Congrats on 50k! I found the Phoebe Bridgers video and I really appreciated how in-depth it was. Here's to 100k!
Just dropping by to say thank you for the tremendous attention to detail in all of your videos. Anyone who learns *After Effects* to make *music production* videos clearly knows the little things matter... We see your work and we love it. Thanks again!

Thanks man! Yeah After Effects was scary for sure, still is, but its so much more creative than premiere sometimes :)
It's a pleasure to be part of your journey!🙏🏻
In my opinion I think you’re blowing up cuz you’re doing what no one else really is, most people will give out shallow mixing tricks and tips that may very marginally boost someone’s mixes while you’re literally analyzing videos and doing deep dives into interviews to figure out precisely what these producers and audio engineers are doing like a detective. The channel is truly a breath of fresh air, keep it up!
Then you have to start watching Dan Worrall. Not only is his educational material second to none, all music in his videos are his own music.
I came here from getting the Phoebe Bridgers video in my feed like I'm sure a lot of others did. The Phoebe Bridgers video hit a needed spot! I was just doing some research on how to get that guitar sound and the digital degradation. Thank you all the info :)
Huge.CONGRATS on the 50k brother!! Your videos/content are always great, and so on point. I'm sure 100k is right around the corner 👍😁👍

BIG BIG congrats!!! so excited by the music UA-cam community rn. also, the Babolat Vibrakill is now sold out on Amazon lmao
Congratulations! Yes, always make what’s in your heart, and it will resonate!
A buddy of mine just recommended your videos and I'm really enjoying your mix deep dives! I've been audio engineering for about 12 years and it's great to learn new techniques and ideas from you. Really helping up my game. Appreciate you!

Looking forward to the mixing competition. Thank you for all that you do!

You helped me to get started with some equipment, and I appreciate that!
the clarion sounds super good, just watched your review of it.... congrats!
I dig whatever content you put out: the microphone reviews, mix breakdowns, thoughts on recording. It's all good stuff.
I'm a newer subscriber but it's still insane to see your recent growth these past few months, you really got me hooked because of the bon over video you mentioned.
Thank you for the inspiration! You’re channel is invaluable! Much love 🤙🏽
Always thought you had criminally low subs for the quality of your work. Awesome to think you're finally getting some recognition, Cheers for all you do
Hey Ricky,
Just wanted to congratulate you on the 50k.
Build it and they will come 🎉🎉🎉
Great content buddy, you're a natural too.. Also, thanks for this opportunity really appreciate it ❤
Wow! By the time I watch this video you already have 56k subscribers! That's mindblowing and I'm super proud of you. I feel so happy to be a part of this community Also your latest videos are something out of this world, so professional but with a soul of a true passion.
I hope the outpouring of love I'm seeing from the comments section is getting to your head, you deserve it :))
I've been following since pretty early (if not quite day 1) and I was super glad to see the pivot. Hardware review stuff seems like the easier road to follow and we need more and better educational videos on this platform.
Congrats on 50k!
I love that part of the contest encourages us to get our hands dirty and get to mixing. Thanks bruv
So glad you decided to make the videos you wanted to make, because they’re f-ing awesome
Looking forward to more of your production-related content. Congrats on all the success!
Congrats! I found your channel about 8 months ago , you really helped me improve in a short amount of time, you deserve it!
Congratulations! So glad I found your channel and really glad you do what you do. Thank you.
The first video of yours I saw was the Radiohead video. I should go back and watch some of those mic videos. Thanks for the opportunity.
Been following your channel for a few years now. I first found you looking for mics, and saw how much you loved the SM57. I never ended up picking one up, but loved your passion and explanations. Glad to see you're doing great.
Being a dabbling, rambling voice talent it’s been nice to see things from the producers/mixers perspective.
Congrat AudioHaze! Been watching since your Shure SM57 video. Love you videos
Congratulations, can’t wait to see you get to 100k definitely deserved
dude the mix reconstruction videos are amazing. keep up the good work!
Yessss congrats!! Love this channel, thank you for all your hard work on the videos! ❤
Found your channel from Phoebe Bridgers videos. Love what you're doing!
Congrats for this 50k Rick! Good luck to everyone in the giveaway!!!
Really enjoying the content you've been making! I think the How to Sound Like Radiohead video was what got me into the channel a few months ago. Keep it up, I can only see your channel getting more popular from here!
I've followed you from well before your 10k mark. Loved the content then, and love it even more now. Congrats on your growth!
Yea I’m digging the deep dives on small projects that blew up. Keep the content coming bro.
hell yeah man, big congrats, been following your channel since like mid 2021, loved your mic reviews, love the new content man. Such a service you're doing bringing your research and perspective to the world of recording. i love your approach and just you as a dude seem real cool. much love man, congrats!
I actually landed on your channel through the Bon Iver video, blessed be the algorythm gods! Congrats on 50k and keep up the good work!
You're seriously the best! looking forward to continue watching and learning as much as possible!
Congratulations! Keep making people happy and inspiring them!
the Garden Song video brought me here. Loving your stuff. Hoping for a follow-up vid that goes into the mixing of your Garden Song cover!
You are incredible!!! A true master of your work. Congrats!
This channel is an absolute goldmine. Well deserved man
discovered your channel through the pheobe bridgers video and subscribed about halfway through. its cool to see someone make what they want. i think making videos you are truely passionate about will always be quality because the effort will be there and it will be genuine.
Thank you man, you deserve it, its amazing what time and passion can make after a while.
feeling inspired to try the Radiohead mix too, gonna get out of the comfort zone on that one for sure
thank you again! keep it up
