Very pretty stitch, but I’m curious as to why you had to purl from the inside with the pink yarn, wouldn’t you get the same effect if you knitted the pink yarn from the right side? Thank you for sharing this technique.
@@evelynwald9132 thanks evelyn. About your question.. to be honest it is very difficult for me imagine these things, so to be sure I would have to try it 🤷🏻♀️ but yeah it makes sense so you are probably right. Sorry for the lousy answer :)
@@planetpelo oh thanks for even responding. Knitting has so many ways to get to the same end result that I too have to see or try a different approach to better understand it and if it might be easier for me. Thanks again for sharing your videos and techniques.
You can actually work from the inside starting with row 3 and then untill the rest of the project. So only the first ever two rows are from the outside, then the rest can be done from the inside. That also means, after row 3, during the rest of the project all pinks will be purled. I know it can be a bit confusing, i suggest making a small sample real quick and then it will all be clear for you 😌
Thank you for the clear and wonderful tutorial 😊 How would you decrease/increase in the round with broken seed stitch? 🤔

When do you work from the inside? Just rows 1 and 3?

I get confused, do you just purl for the even rows ? 1 and 3?
I mean the odd rows
That's right.
Rows 1 and 3: purl (if working on the inside)
Rows 2 and 4: 1 knit 1 purl.
