Kudos to you! As a knitter (self-taught), this video is one of the best I’ve seen. Your instructions are clear and concise, and the quality of the video is perfect. I just now subscribed, and look forward to future video uploads. You’re a natural - thank you!
THANK YOU! Such a beautiful stitch for a cowl. Will be making one for my daughter. I make things for her girls and after 10years I think I should do a little something for her.😊
I crochet and have been wanting to learn to knit, this tutorial has been extremely informative and helpful. I have actually learned the difference between knit and pearl! Lol. Yay!
Thanks for sharing! I know how to knit, Grandma taught me over 40 years ago, but haven't done it in many years because I prefer crochet. I picked up some needles recently and I want to try again. This project may be perfect, now I have to buy some circular needles.
I'm just learning to knit I've done better this year because I crochet thank you for the inspiration you've helped me a lot can't wait to try this stich
The only little rhyme I've ever heard about knitting is..."In through the front door, around the back, Peep through the window, and off jumps Jack", but I think it's for the knit stitch, not cast on. Maybe, I don't know. Anyway, very pretty cowl!
Thank you for this video. You explain everything so clearly and without rushing. Would #4 yarn on 6.5" needles work for a seed stitch cowl? You are using #10 needles with #6 yarn your needles being 4 times the size of your yarn. So I think I will be fine with needles 2.5 times the yarn size. Is my thinking correct? The yarn I'm using is really soft 100% cotton.
I just wondered about the even number of stitches because when I end the row with knit I also start the next row with knit. Won't I end up with a line where both stitches are the same and not alternative like the rest of the row?
Can I use straight needles as I'm unable to use circular needles, how many stitches do I need on straight needles For your beautiful cowl, thank you for your help,
I’m not sure anyone will see this but asking anyway. A young girl wants to make this cowl but wants to use yarn she has already. # 5. Should she use a 13-9mm needles. ❤️☘️
As a beginner knitter I really appreciate your videos. I've been able to make a different scarf as gifts and I'm now in the middle of this one. I am wondering where I went wrong becasue my cowl is twisting. I thought I had it straight when I started. Any advice? Or will it just be a twisted cowl and thats it??
I feel like the other commenters didn't even try this. There is no way to do this project with 10MM of cord between the hooks. It pulls way too tight, nothing slides around as it should, and you have to struggle to get around. It stretches out the area between the two ends that you're joining as well because there is not enough room on the 10 MM of cord. This is ridiculous! Not good.

Very pretty. I'm a thrower like you. Despite learning to crochet first is easier for me to hold the yarn in my right hand.

Can I use straight needles as I'm unable to use circular needles, how many stitches do I need on straight needles For your beautiful cowl, thank you for your help,
So you started with row 2 to attach in the round.❤❤❤❤😮why did you not start with row 1 knit stitch
but i end with a knit stitch and i start with a knit stitch in the first round?, so i have 2 knit stitches next to eachother?

What I've heard is for knit stitch - Go in through the back door, put on a scarf, go out through the front door, and jump off the porch.
Can I knit this cowl on straight needles
Hello.. What are the height and width of the scarf?
