What I love most about Bryan is his animations, It always looks like he's trying to punch or kick straight through the opponent.
That's why I love Kickboxing characters those moves always look like they're breaking bones
He moves like he doesn't give a fuck
His win animation where he keeps punching the opponent is sick
What you're supposed to do.
Armor King's aniamtions are way more brutal if you ask me. Like his triple head-butt throw, or his stomps. He looks sooo pissed off when he performs these moves.
Please keep stroking my ego as a Bryan player

I'll keep stroking. But not your ego

"People start blocking the 29 frame snake edge and you get launch punished", what sort of trickery is this! Block snake edge, impossible!
NO ONE CAN DEFLECT THE SNAKE EDGE
I never block that, and I damn sure don't low parry. When I see it coming, I eat it on principle not like these fancy kids nowadays! These kids don't respect anything!
Block? Snake Edge? Never heard of her
I play bryan on a high level and let me tell you
Since he has no goto low all you can do is qcb3 or snake edge because db4 is 7 damage and db3 is pretty unreliable. I actually stopped using snake edge completely because at higher level people can even block dragon tail on reaction which is 26 frames. Snake edge basically always gets blocked. Bryans who snake edge on higher level either only do it when they've conditioned opponents to not duck or when they want half of their life bar gone.
@@sibtainahmed3026 well it all depends on the connection, stable conmection - snake edge always gets blocked
3 bar - they have to predict it not possible to block on reaction
Bryan, kazuya, yoshi and king can make a tekken game by themselves imo
You forgot Hwoarang my dude
Axzeale elaezxA no, he didn't
@@jLootaveli hwo's moveset is like trying to play some other confusing ass game, you're trying to figure out what comes after this or make the pressure strings actually feel unstoppable
Joel Seeks how about lei?
how'd you forget Paul?
Bryan, Steve, King, these three have always had that way with their moves that made me think they were insane. They have this glamour to each string and each mix-up that made me always go, " I wanna try that."
Back when vanilla T5 was in our local mall arcade there was a Bryan player that did taunt 3+4 consistently. A whole bunch of doods including my brothers and I would put up coins on the machine and we would challenge him. He had the longest win streak out of everybody. That whole situation lead the arcade to create a local Tekken tournament. Good days. Now it is all ticket machines.

I love this character so damn much. So many awkward difficulties that are underappreciated when they don't know what's going on with even Taunt set-ups with wallcombos. CC from b3,f into DB1+2 is surprisingly awkward into taunt. Especially online. Bryan is underrated and also OP and I love him.
Bryan is not underrated. Isn't he top 3 on most used characters? He's only underrated in Tournament level because of his difficulty and flaws

Just recently played Bryan with actual knowledge and DAMN your point does stand
I have friends who played Tekkem for maybe a few months years and years ago. When I tell them I still play, they always ask if Bryan Fury is still in the game
Great video TMM, would love to see more videos like this, with you just gushing on how much you enjoy the characters.
Bryan has always been my favorite Tekken char. and I recently started getting more into fighter and trying to learn them better. Before just doing simple pokes and 1,2,3 combo strings. He still remains my favorite and am very determined to getting better with him. I feel like movement is almost impossible to master on controller D-pad, though.
Освоил?
Glad to always see Bryan love on this channel, also one of my favorite FG characters out there.
Love your content, recently started labbing Asuka but I've always loved Bryan. I actually didn't know about the predator step so that was really cool
If you're labbing asuka remember to always punish b+3 on block no matter what she does afterwards. 😊
TMM: on 13 frames he doesn't really have anything for punishment Df2,1: am i a joke to you?
Mach Breaker will forever be one of my favorite moves ever. Nice and simple crushing straight(literally in this case), right to the face that sends you flying.
Thank you MainMan for this amazing video
Because he's a manic badass, Taunt jet upper, signature sardonic laugh and he loves smashing stuff
Very well said! Hey, By The Way - I recently made a Lore Video on Bryan with I think you might find interesting! I also did ones on Jun Kazama, Paul Phoenix and the Williams Sisters (Anna and Nina) and I plan to cover many more underappreciated Tekken characters in the future! You should definitely swing by my channel if you get time and check them out! idk I think it would be kind of mazing if I could get your thoughts on them!
When are the devs going to make new characters with this kind of difficulty again?
It should've been Leroy.
@Harald L. Lichtenburg I wanted wait until Leroy got nerfed to get him until I realised that his gameplan is incredibly boring and straightforward and he fills no niche. His insane buffs were probably just trying to mask that. It's like the devs at Namco have straight up forgotten how to make a good specialist character. All the newcomers in Tekken 7 are low execution, Jack-of-all-trades characters. Only ones that aren't are Akuma and Geese, whose movesets were taken from other games, and Gigas, who's just straight up bad.
@@elvararchfeld9734 Leroy should've been like Shun Di from Virtua Fighter. Just a complete shenanigans character with mixups upon mixups to bamboozle opponents.
@@Brian-rx9sp
I hope Namco does a fighter from an obscure or unrepresented style justice in Season 4. I'm thinking Tekken Force Girl (Who uses Silat in the concept art) or an overhauled Rodeo from Tekken Mobile with a style similar to Military Martial Arts like Army Combatives Program or a brand new German character who uses Pankration/Kampfringen whose appearance is themed after Knights.
Rap Z. Turkish oil wrestling.
Very cool vidéo ! Thank you ! We want more videos about Bryan please. And may be you can play more Bryan on ranking, TMM ? :)
He is truly the best of best character out all fighting games I agree
Bryan is like the deepest and hardest character to ever grace Fighting Games. I try to be like TMM and use him but I just do not have the skills. I mean, I can use the snake edge here and there with an occasional orbital. But I really struggle adding side kick keep out & CH hunting along with mach kick. And adding hatchet to that, pfffttt, forget about it.
TMM is just a god.
you forget the jabs and pokes, son? Can’t really hit any of those key moves if that’s ALL you’re doing because that’s all the opponent has to look out for. Gotta mix it up.
Lol.
I've only used Bryan since T7 release. I refuse to play anyone else! Taunt everything!
Your an x box player it doesnt count ;)
Same. Every other character feels cheap. #NoDF1GANG
Winner: Bryan *Proceeds to turn your face into goo as the camera censors his rage*
Hank is a lot of fun to watch when JimmyJ plays him
Bad joke and bad reference
Bryan is my only character in Tekken that I would say I'm any where close to good with. I'm no where close to being great, haven't been able to do the new optimal combos for him with the knees, and I can only sometimes do the taunt knee against the wall. He's so unique and just a thrill to play. Unfortunately though, the only people I play with are Steve and Hwoarang mains.
same with me haha but maybe thats because i started playing like a month ago
What's wrong about Steve and hwo mains besides of being aggressive shitheads?
@@rafaellala4354 Just my scrubby 2 cents, but those two characters, especially Steve absolutely destroy Bryan in neutral.
Steve's range and pressure just allow him to bully Bryan to death.
Once he bypasses far and mid range where Bryan is decent it's game over.
@@Skililik ah Okey seems pretty logical. Thanks for the explanation my guy

i loved playing T4 on my PS2 as a kid, now picking up T7 to try and learn some deeper FG mechanics while i wait for T8 and Bryan is really clicking with me more than any other character has. Thanks for making videos like this that remain relevant years later
I'm at Revered Ruler with Bryan and it's so hard to break turtles.
I feel you, better do more b1's and f3 to taunt them to the wall
Just hatchet kick and taunt bro!!! /s
qcb3, b1
Turtles can be broken with taunt. Either bait an attack and punish or complete the taunt into a knock down or tju if you can.
Just Snek Ugg bruh, spam U/F4 breh
lol some people think orbital and snake edge actually 50/50 mix up? lmao that just insane
You'd be surprised how much this works in low ranks
It is a 50/50 on a 3 bar on ps4
I feel like the startup smiley is looking right into my soul!
Lmaoo completely ignored the fact that Nina is a back-sway character😂😂
I think you even forget Nina is in the game
Tmm : one of two...
Nina : *shocked pikachu face*
She has the generic df 1 and better pokes and low though.
@@awryklutz960 brother we were talking about back dash..
Awry kLutz the topic is backsway not df 1 🙄
I got to admit Bryan is one of the most fun players to fight agaisnt given how many play styles he has. His mind games are up there he can kill your legs and when you start defending lows he can clip you as with his orbital or b3. Really good mixups.
Thanks TMM alot of these imputs i did not know

I saw your vid on Bryan gotta say it was really well done
Np
I have a very good counter hit timing because of Bryan's f3. It is really fast and hitting it is so satisfying.
Byron in a walled stage is so strong. My brother plays Byron all the time, and one single mistake and you're in the wall. If you're dumb enough to tech roll after that? You get hit by the taunt. Then b+4, then death.
200 word essay incoming, just feeling emotional since I've found the video again.
I hit TJU in a offline match vs a friend today. Technically twice but one in a genuine round. I actually didn't realize I hit it the first time, my friend made me realise I did it and I tried several more times (as if I was in practice mode) and was able to do it again after like 10+ tries xD on pad. Tears in my eyes man. Even though I am far far far away from consistent, now I'm convinced I can do everything with the character and am able to pull off everything in this game on pad if I work hard enough.
YUHHHHH let's go dude, I think Bryan is going to be my second main, wanna get truly good with Kazuya first.

Hi TMM! Very interesting video bout Bryan! Can you do one about Lee?
wasn't there a video like this already made by you TMM
A video completely praising my secondary main since T3? 🙌🏿🙌🏿🙌🏿
I love his body uppercut then he slams them on the floor.
I love that move. Look Soo bad ass even better when you use it on jack.
One of the things that makes his Jet Upper really difficult in the modern age of leverless controllers, is that the neutral is actually required. With a hitbox, it's so quick and easy to go from back to forward that you often might skip neutral. In a game like Street Fighter, that's pretty much never a problem and just means your move can come out even faster. But with Bryan, it's such a specific input and often if I accidentally skip neutral, I'll get a back 2 instead of a jet upper which can be really bad depending on the situation
I am in approval of this video before I even watched it. And of all the new Bryan content here 🐍🐍☠️

Another trick Bryan has is using his D 3+4 then 2 then DB to cancel the 2 hit. This leaves you crouch so you can northern cross or use the low knuckle move.
I think may the lack of generic tools may be why I prefer playing byran along with how he has to adapt to to situations compared to most other characters
Preaching to the choir, I dig it.
when i was in yellow ranks ppl were always trying to predict snake edge so i baited them into orbital
One of the coolest looking characters in the game no doubt, but I tried picking up Bryan he has very high execution demand and for me I personally feel the payoff is little, taunt setups aren't easy to do by the Stretch of the imagination so for me it's like doing hard labor with little pay, I'd just stick with dragunov or Josie
That's the reward tho. Mocking a cheesy, low risk high reward Unga Bunga spam player. Then beat its head to puree! With a high risk low reward character.
Hi TMM, I enjoy all your content and commentary but I was just wondering if now, since you got him to TGP, you could find it in your heart to shower a few droplets of praise on Gigas. We Gigas mains are an endangered species as you've said before, and in Tekken 8 we will be cast out into the snow. If you could highlight the positives and bring some attention to the character that would be great. Thanks, and have a lovely day.

Chains of misery can be done faster by inputting qcf, db, , d, DF+1+2 as fast as possible. Same goes for northern cross.
the same thing can easily be said with Lili's Qcf moves as well, if you want them to come out instantly
Nina has a backsway too
My main since Tekken 4, so proud..
Im a Bryan player that is trying to get on the high level with Bryan.
But one thing im rly struggling with is the timing on hitting moves after your taunt hits. The only thing i can reliably hit is a jab string.
Whenever i try practicing ''b4 into launch or downf 2, 1'' i always see that it doesn't register as a combo, which means im not doing it fast enough i guess. I know this is probably a grind thing for bryan, that you will get used to over time.
But if any Bryan mains out there have some tips on how to improve your timing after taunt hits that would be greatly appreciated :D
Bryan is a good guy - he ALWAYS wore a face mask.
Love his design all around. Hate losing to him and getting groundpounded to hell.
Didn't watch the video yet, *but I already approved*
imo Kazuya is the purest Tekken character
FrameWhisperer: "Oh fuck off"
The taunt is a real move in mauy thai, they call it the switch step
13:32 This is the way i always condition people to catch them in the frame trap. Bryan has so many different directions he can go to with that +2 advantage.
Can't think of anything other than 124 and 4. What do you use?
@@fatman9183 there's all kind of mixups you can do after you condition them, i generally use 124 to condition then bait and punish with different combinations depending if i get the counter hit or not, condition with knee then i throw 1,2,3 1,2,1 1,2,4 in different scenarios to see if they are trying to low block/parry and then punish accordingly, i also like to use 4,3,4 to make them start ducking and keep them at range
