Thanks for the video. You saved me money. I haven't played DCUO in about a decade so I have forgotten alot. I always go Controller but want to try Healing now and was going to pick Celestial. So how did you save me money? Welp, this power is too much for my marble brain so going try something else. Maybe Electricity or Water...

Celestial used to be SO good. It still is good in some ways, but they've SIGNIFICALLY reduced the amount of damage it does for some stupid unknown reason. Now there's literally only 4 powers that make good damage with the combos, the rest does not anymore.

Not true. Cele dps is still very good. The player simply needs to know what they're doing. Myself and others are currently playing cele and we keep up in plus raids. Learn the game and how power sets/abilities work. I say this because 95% of the player base does not read descriptions, does not pay attention to anything, and never takes the time to learn anything. So many want to copay/paste a loadout, mash buttons, and think they will be "op."

@@roboninja3194not true. It has nothing to do with knowing what to do. This game takes no skill at all so what’s hard to figure out literally nothing. There’s a tier list of what power does better damage than others and yes they did significantly reduced celestial’s damage.

Awesome explanations. But the system has updated there's not two trees anymore, but the combos look the same.
But I have having extreme difficulty making the combos work at all. i get the first move, and often i see my person clutch the air with power around their hands like they are about to cast, but nothing happens.. Feels like no matter when or how fast I hit the buttons (its a controller), nothing works. If you still play, can you give any visual of your hands hitting the buttons?
I suppose if you use a mouse, it wont help much.

To make celestial work you have to press the buttons at the right time. If one presses the power then immediately range and hold range for example it won't work. You have to press the combos right before the current power animation ends.

This said build could be outdated, just to note since this came out approximately 9 years ago. I can show a much stronger build and tell you how to use it effectively. Just let me know, of course.
