That is a great idea. For powers that aren't different/diverse enough for multiple power trees, have them added on as a third tree in pre-existing power sets.
i think purpose of earth pets are so that you maintain the 25% dmg absorption, which is activated whenever you use a power (effect eventually wears off), but as long as the golem is alive you have the effect. so its probably the most useful pet even if it does just stand there and look pretty lol
a little tip on the jackhammer that i learned: after you activate it continue taping the box button and you will keep punching the ground till your nergy meter runs low try it
my main is ice also, some of them maybe, I'm heavy cryo. I can't remember if any are similar in the storms tree. I'll take the good with the bad, I'm just glad they are adding new content, and attempting different power sets. The atomic power set should be next. I like earth so far though, it's pretty fun.

It's probably cheaper to buy Station Cash (or the new Seven Cash if you're in Europe) than buying through Steam.
I like them both, champions does have an excellent character creator. It also looks great with all the settings turned up. Being a comic fan, I do get the feeling I'm playing in a comic book, with the art style they used in champions. Dcuo reminds me of the newer justice league shows graphics wise, and the action in combat is pretty fun and fluid. Even if they are both from the same genre, they are not alike. I enjoy them both.

But telekinesis has lifting and pushing enemies. Another thing is that they're running out of colours - the effects that play when you use your weapon correspond to your power set. In PVP, you can easily see what your opponent is capable of by watching them fight.
This reminds me of Terra from Teen Titans. DC should have been serious with Terra and actually made her apart of DC Comics, along with Justice League up to Today. She was Serious in Teen Titans! She was strong as hell,Some one you couldnt mess with. Now only if DCUO would make Rock a new travel power aswell, Riding on boulders, or stepping on rocks in mid air jus like terra did. But yea these powers are pretty cool thanks for the vid, wish i had the game to even start with lol

You didn't show the Aftershocks for Upheaval, Jackhammer, or Gemstone Shield. By spamming left click after you activate them you use the power multiple times quickly, making them much more useful (Jackhammer is godly in crowds).

Custom (Custom Power Template) should be under Powers. 1) Choose CUSTOM 2) Choose one of your favorite power move sets into 2 different selections 3) Lets say you want both Ice & Electricity powers on your character well choose CUSTOM [Mix N' Match or separate and name it your own power like if it is Ice & Electriciy = Electrical Snow Storm (selection 1) & Blizzard Shock (selection 2) under POWERS]
you have to buy the re-spec in the marketplace for €9,99. that's the only way to get it on your recent characters. or you need to make a whole new lvl 1 character
Air would be a bit too much like Telekinesis and Water is too similar to Ice to be included. If they were gonna do it, surely the current, "Tides of War" would be the time, right? According to some people in the early beta, the thing that was in the game then that isn't in now is the atomic power set.
it was sort a joke but yeah, or air would have been awesome, i dont think it would be to much like telekinisis, you could create like whirlwids, gusts, sufficate people by pulling the air out of them, no ? to extreme? if you have watched the avatar series you could see all the things you could do with air powers.
I'm an earth DPS cr 82 and I have no trouble keeping up with full t4 electric or fire dps, earth has a daze effect with debris field does extra damage when enemies are dazed, JH does 1 extra hit on dazed enemies instead of 1 initial might hit it will be 2 might hits together then your precision takes over, reinforce add 110 precision so when my trinket, reinforce and flex joder 4 are active my precision is 1300, I use sand blast hits twice but enemies with 35% heal or lower take extra damage
You know why? Because they aren't wearing PvP gear Toughness rises over the levels, But it only goes to 70 when you reach level 30. Those m of distinction or triumph gear won't make you win against player fights
but still, whirlwinds, gusts, air bubbles or whatever, would still be amazing. yeah but couldnt the colour be just plain white/greyish? btw, wouldnt it be cool if they "merged" ice with water? water could another power tree???
Maybe in time dcuo will add more for travel and customization. Champions does seem to be updating quite a bit, so does CoH. nice to have some variety to get your super on. They are all fun, great casual games. imo
I have been playing as Hawkgirl (until today) she really looked a part + you can get full thenegarian armor later in game. Problem is with powers: 1) I hate flight, arcobatics is so much smoother 2) None of the abilities fits her archetype. 3) Finally I made her Fire (witch is TANK as she supposed to be) but watching her weapon sparking, sre really looks more like a lightning (thats Heal... and she newer was much of a healer).
i was interested in earth at first but when i saw a lot of the powers look the same just with different colors the 10$ price tag scared me away. id rather get green lantern or lightning powers if i were going to actually spend money on this game.

A great power to simulate super strength for all your Hulks, Juggernauts, Supermen, etc.

the golems cute cause its small and has brawling so its like a baby going rage
It does have some content to run besides the earth powers, that's a plus for those not wanting the earth powers character.
This power seems like it was made just so you could create a James Heller or Alex Mercer from [PROTOTYPE].

Earth is alot better for DPS than tank but I hate it when I summon my pet and it just stands there not doing anything.

nope. instead, as a Tank, a few abilities give Damage Absorption... there are sadly no visuals for this, it's simply a Buff a few attacks give you
