What doing homework? This is a brand new model with Malaysian specs, which nobody will know on the first day of a test drive. Besides, the whole idea of a test drive is to find out the good, bad and ugly of the cars, on the spot while driving.

Seal is about RM10K cheaper, 5.9s (faster), 570km (longer range), much much better roof glass heat rejection, more comfortable ride quality, a lot of buttons for easy control, headup display, can sideload apps (can have UA-cam & etc) and run Waze, google maps with realtime traffic info without needing to pay. Whereas TM3 has faster DC charging speed, one pedal driving (but not everyone's liking), slightly more energy efficiency. Eventually it is just about IOS vs Andriod.
Don’t get fooled by the range, is measured using NEDC as for Tesla is WLTP which is more accurate to real world driving. Charging speed, top speed, efficiency, handling, software, and ecosystem Tesla for the win !

Tesla cars have been there for many years with proven reliability. Yes BYD looks good but can it be reliable and last for years with out major issues? You really need to do long term tests to determine all this. Morover you can be sure of Tesla to do recalls as needed but Chinese cars compahave to prove they will standby their products and support with proper warranty coverage and recall and fix as needed. Having said that, BYD sooms to be one of the better cars coming out of China.
You can do it, just set a strict budget and follow accordingly. RM1k to 3k is considered high for partial PPF, but depends on your wallet. Personally, I'd go for paint correction + ceramic + partial front ppf, can do all these within 2k in Klang Valley. Anything more, , isn't worth the money (to me). As mentioned, unless it's an extremely expensive car, expensive PPF isn't worth it at all. It's more for your peace of mind, you won't recoup any of the costs during sale. Also, it's an EV, resale value is bound to be terrible.
EV car 200k + Home charging station 10k++. Total cost 210k 5yrs warranty and "So called zero maintenance". ICE car 200k. 5yrs warranty and free service. - EV car after 5yrs warranty, what the value of you car? Can u still keep the car? , EV is like a phone, every few years will get updated with better features and tech. Software updates every year ( Mark my words for it, this u might not know now, u'll need to pay after warranty) after 5th years will cost you few hundreds to updates the software of your car. EV car still have wear and tear. The charging cost? The roadtax(2025) on EV car will cost higher. - ICE car after 5yrs warranty, I'm sure it has a better value than EV. The 10k++ that u save from buying a charging station, that will be your budget for normal service for the next 5 yrs with wear and tear after the warranty. I don't hate EV or i like ICE car. A car is just a car to take you to A to B. Just wanna know In long run, are you really save more money on buying a EV car?

As a Tesla owner I’m glad i made a right choice by buying M3 and didn’t wait for seal. The seal interior looks like just any other patrol car on the road meanwhile Tesla makes you feel you are sitting in a special car. Tesla is like an iphone that has class meanwhile BYD is just an Oppo phone with 400MP camera and alot of cool features but it will never beat the class and realisability of an iphone.

These are real issues you know? They present the true picture of the TCO of a vehicle. Seal is about RM10K cheaper, 5.9s (faster), 570km (longer range), much much better roof glass heat rejection, more comfortable ride quality, a lot of buttons for easy control, headup display, can sideload apps (can have UA-cam & etc) and run Waze, google maps with realtime traffic info without needing to pay. Whereas TM3 has faster DC charging speed, one pedal driving (but not everyone's liking), slightly more energy efficiency. Eventually it is just about IOS vs Andriod.

Tesla cars have been there for many years with proven reliability. Yes BYD looks good but can it be reliable and last for years with out major issues? You really need to do long term tests to determine all this.
Morover you can be sure of Tesla to do recalls as needed but Chinese cars compahave to prove they will standby their products and support with proper warranty coverage and recall and fix as needed. Having said that, BYD sooms to be one of the better cars coming out of China.

You can do it, just set a strict budget and follow accordingly. RM1k to 3k is considered high for partial PPF, but depends on your wallet. Personally, I'd go for paint correction + ceramic + partial front ppf, can do all these within 2k in Klang Valley. Anything more, , isn't worth the money (to me).
As mentioned, unless it's an extremely expensive car, expensive PPF isn't worth it at all. It's more for your peace of mind, you won't recoup any of the costs during sale. Also, it's an EV, resale value is bound to be terrible.

Software updates every year ( Mark my words for it, this u might not know now, u'll need to pay after warranty) after 5th years will cost you few hundreds to updates the software of your car. EV car still have wear and tear. The charging cost? The roadtax(2025) on EV car will cost higher.
- ICE car after 5yrs warranty, I'm sure it has a better value than EV. The 10k++ that u save from buying a charging station, that will be your budget for normal service for the next 5 yrs with wear and tear after the warranty.

As a Tesla owner I’m glad i made a right choice by buying M3 and didn’t wait for seal. The seal interior looks like just any other patrol car on the road meanwhile Tesla makes you feel you are sitting in a special car. Tesla is like an iphone that has class meanwhile BYD is just an Oppo phone with 400MP camera and alot of cool features but it will never beat the class and realisability of an iphone.
Depends. But there are many who loves BYD much more than Tesla, cheaper to maintain, more technology, getting more features, better pick up, more practical and more comfortable than Tesla Model 3. Even BYD also more trusted in terms of proven reliability especially BYD batteries gets from Toyota than Tesla. To be honest, based on interior for Tesla, still can’t beat BYD where Tesla looks plain where BYD can get more interior details
