- How to Adjust the Cruze Handbrake, the easy way. This also appears to adjust the rear drums in the process, so this combined with a manual rear drum adjustment should permanently change how well the car brakes and increases rear brake bias (as opposed to having the rear only engage on hard braking.

Thanks dude, good info
Nice! Very easy!
Know how to access this on a Chevy Sonic?
U can undo the bolts at the bottom and take that whole center piece out but dont pull hard bc the USB plug will still be attached till u can get it better
But why would you?
I don't use mine very often with the automatic transmission but it has almost no slack in it probably because it doesn't get used much.
The manual transmission cars were always really bad especially with drums. The disc brake cars weren't so bad.
@@AndreiDPop yeah duh I have rear disc's lol
@@justinv3080 yeah this has been an annoyance for all the LS/Eco/1LT trim guys for a long time.
Don't pull the parking brake up so fast and hard when pulling. Grab and and slow your pull to about half of what I'm seeing you do or even slower.
Don't think it really matters how fast you pull the handbrake when you park your car to be honest. Can't say I've had any issues with my drums or the parking brake since I bought the car in 2012.
I pushed too far forward & it’s too tight now, how can I release it to try again???
Did you ever figure it out??
I just did the same thing! Help!
He says how to release it. You push it all the way in and lift the handle with your other hand. Then you can redo the setting.
