I loved my Mosin Nagant. Got it way back when big 5 had them for under $200. You could get lucky and find one with the hex receiver for the same price which was a good deal since those are rarer than the rounded receiver. The 7.62×54R round packs a punch too and will get the job done without a doubt. I should have bought a boat load of them seeing how they're going from $400 to $1000 depending on quality and if all the parts have matching numbers. A fun gun and it's pretty sweet knowing it may have served in WW2, Korea, or even Vietnam.
I've always wanted one! Another I want is the 1870's Prussian Dreyse needle-gun.

0:20 Technically he did not declare war on Ukraine and neither has Ukraine declared war against Russia. For Russia it is "special military operation". Meanwhile for Ukraine it is "counter-terrorist operation", as Ukraine declared only Russia as a terrorist state. Formally Ukraine has not attacked Russian territory, besides some spillovers.
This АТО According to Ukrainian politicians. I still remember how civilians were shot at this Anti-Terroristic Operation and residential buildings were shelled. And the worst thing is that in Mariupol the majority were destroyed at the same time by artillery fire and battles with soldiers and members of the Territorial Defense who had settled there

Russian Russian Federation is the heir of Ancient Rus, the Kingdom of Russian, the Empire of Russian, Soviet Russia, the heir of Russian culture, Russian language ... as much as the fifth French Republic is the heir of all previous French states, kingdoms, empires and directories..... the heiress of French culture and language… It is very strange, for example, if Burgundy separates from France and declares the Burgundian language to be the language of ancient France, and Paris to be barbarians who devour frogs.. .

This is great but if you want something even more in-depth (though without any of the cool animations) I recommend Kings & Generals' series. It's multiple hours covering the entire war so far. They cover more tactics/big picture stuff rather than equipment like Simple History.

Just FYI, no ukranian participated in designing and engineering of Antonov 225. Name mriya an two stripes don't make it ukranian.
I am just gonna point fundamentally fire arms tech hasn't changed drastically since WW2. A bullet is a bullet. Sure we got better actions, firing rates, and more effective calibers now. But, the basic fire arms still kill.
I don’t think I’d say modern weapons surpass WWII era firearms in quality, back in the day they built things to last and by hand. Today everything’s mass produced and not always hand fitted

Remind College the Russian Federation still hasn't actually declared war on Ukraine and still classified as a special military action
The mosin-nagant was actually designed before even WWI, not for WWII.

Said arms dealer has essentially lost all standing or influence in the arms trade, purely because he's been in prison so long. But hey, you don't care, this is a partisan issue, clearly shown by you bringing it up on an unrelated video.
Mentioned plane Mriya was built in USSR, and ukrainian government started de-communization before, so ironically russians helped with that. I didn't watched rest of video, but should note that there were a few ukrainian governments during massive conflict one hundred ago, and anarchists from south-eastern Ukraine struggled with them too (until bolshevik's betrayal). At least they had some new social ideas for live, so that wasn't only about capturing territory. Unfortunately all wars are more or less dumb, hope someday they will left only in video games.
