I truly appreciate that my friend. TCL has come a very long way and they are right there. I personally still give the Q 90D the nod. More flexibility of image , still better processing and gaming.
I'm not sure why, my friend? The C4, while very good, is still a WOLED vs a QD-OLED . The C4 has Dolby Vision that's about it. Only the G4 can really beat the S90D. Enjoy your TV my friend
Hi, You would choose the S90D here in EU in 65inch with QD Panel or the C4 both cost the same, or pay 400€ more and get the G4 ? 80% for movies and 20% Gaming
Excellent question! The C4 is excellent but it's hard to be a QD-OLED without MLA . That said the G4 is more impressive then the S90D. The G4 is more vibrant, better processing and the best Dolby vision in the business
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Thank You so much you are really the best.🫶🤝 Yes I think the G4 is the best and the safest Option for me, I come from an LG GX Gallery Tv from 2020. Im just a Bit confused because many says, the S90D is better than the C4, brighter, less or no Banding and a Quantum Dot Panel. Both cost the same Price here, I don’t know which one I should choose. So I thought the S90D is in between the C4 and G4 but maybe Im wrong. Otherwise when I pay 500-600 more I can get the G4. You would get definetely the G4 for a bit more Money instead the S90D or C4 ? I watch movies and Series with the Apple TV, Blu-Rays and UHDs with the Panasonic UB-820 and some streaming, Netflix, Amazon and so. And I Think I will play more in Future again, I have a PS5 and a Gaming PC. Thank you so much again, please Continue always Like That, your Videos worth so much and I Like how You discribe the things, very sympathic.🙌
Would Bravia 7/9 be good in a living room at night with some accent lighting or too bright? I read some people say it hurt their eyes and turning down brightness would lose detail. Also is there a huge difference on the viewing angles of the B9 and an oled? Thanks
The Bravia 7 is excellent and close enough to the Bravia 9 if you want value. I personally like the Bravia 9 better. They both are good in a bright room. As far as being too bright, that is personal preference. If you set the ambient mode, you'll be absolutely fine. They are both highly recommended
What’s your thoughts on the hisense 75” ads panels in the 7 & 8? Thinking of going 65” just because that ips panel but really would like to jump up to 75”
@ blacks are black? I can’t stand seeing letter box that is lifted. Current tcl 635 has very good blacks. I’ve read some say it’s fine like you, others say it’s not.
Yeah we basically try to get the best of the best and then every 2 to 3 years rotate them out. So that'll be replacing the 77 in a80j and then after New Year's upgrade the 77inch bedroom C2 with the c4
hey Brian, i hope you see this. i am new to the channel and i really appreciate your content! i was hoping you would be able to help me out with some recommendations. most of these tv's are just out of the question for me due to price, i am really strapped right now but my current samsung plasma finally failed on me after 8 or 9 years. are there any options for me closer to $500 than $1000 and i would prefer a samsung, sony or lg. i would be perfectly happy with something at 55" with a nice picture.
I'd honestly try for the QM7. In my humble opinion the quality drops below the QM7. So I don't recommend them . QM7 is definitely worth the price difference and it will drop
Very nice video . I’ve never seen or heard of oned . Will you tell us more about them in the future . I’m leaving my big home for a 11 X11 room at my aunts to care for her . Later hopefully I can go big again . I’m taking my 7 year old Samsung 82 “ with me and will cram it in the room 😂. Awsome video with such great info on prices
Brian what do you think of the S90c vs the A80L 65 inch? I bought the S90c for $999 but I just love the Sony processor and software so I don’t know if it would be worth it to exchange it for the A80L. It’s for the bedroom and it’s only for watching movies and watching UA-cam. I do notice UA-cam sometimes doesn’t look great on this one.
Brian need an honest opinion here-- cant decide between 83" Sony A80L or an 83" LG G4 as a basement TV (limited light area)-- I am a casual PS5 gamer and like to watch movies...I absolutely LOVE Sony processing/upscaling for movies but like the G4 brightness, especially for gaming. You have owned both...any thoughts?
The A80L is excellent for all the reasons you listed. However, the G4 matches it in processing and surpasses it in HDR and vibrancy. LG G4 is the easy choice.
Never mind "you would have a hard time finding S90D "this good", in the Magnolia Room. That is irrelevant! What is relevant would be to find the Magnolia Room at the Lakeland,FL store! 😁 Clearly my local Best Buy Store doesn't have one. They have a huge empty floor space and still won't put any size group on the sales floor on the U8Ns either. That store is closest to me and easier to get to by Bus Transit. For any youtuber that likes to check out Best Buy stores while being in Central Florida the Lakeland store doesn't have any character to say it's a must visit with a special sales room, other than the back room where the restrooms are located.😮😑😂
My 4-year-old Samsung 75-inch QLED QN75Q60RAFXZA recently stopped working, and I’ve narrowed it down to these two options. Between the LG 77-inch C4 OLED ($2,199.99) and the TCL 85-inch QM8 Mini-LED ($1,998.00), which one would you choose?
Sorry to hear about your TV my friend. I'd go C4 if it was 83" but not 77" can overcome the immersion of a quality 85". QM8 for the win with no hesitation.
Brian, On the G4 when watching live football with an antenna why do the players have static or blurry / hazy around them when moving? How do you fix that?
Hey Brian is there any benefit to using streaming devices like an Apple TV or Nvidia shield with a premium TV like the Sony Bravia or LG models for better HDR performance, for example I love how Apple TV looks on my Sony but I can't stand The picture in almost any setting on the Netflix app? Thanks
Thank you so very much. It's an amazing, excellent question. The NVIDIA shield can offer some extra processing for a sharper image. Apple TV is a better OS than the TV'S themselves. However, image quality will be very much the same.
Hey Brian I really dig the BB vids, I'm going nuts trying to figure out what TV's to buy without regrets. Can't pass up the 65" S90C for $999 and ordering that one tomorrow, never owned OLED. But need a large 98" QM7 or 85" QM7/QM8 for main room. Crunching the numbers and it's gone to be super expensive any way I slice it. Decisions decisions, I'll be on Ramon for a long time, wish me luck. 🤞
Would love your opinion of the Hisense 75” U8N compared to the TCL 8 series. In Canada the Hisense is a few hundred dollars cheaper. But it’s the only size that uses the ads pro panel which doesn't have as good contrast as the va panels in he other sizes. So would you recommend the TCL in the 75” size?
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY what I'm concerned with is the negative review of the 75" u8n on Rtings. Compared to the 65" the contrast was poor. They recommended the TCL in that size. I'm interested in your opinion, since the TCL is a few hundred dollars more in Canada.
I'd go hisense u8n in 75" over the 75" tcl. In real world viewing you don't notice the lower contrast on a VA vs IPS panel unless if it is in a really dark room at night. I compared my 75" hisense u8k to the 65" Sony 90L and the hisense looks to have better blacks and way less blooming. I'm expecting the 75" u8n to be better than my 75" u8k.
I was the Sony VPL at BestBuy in Cool Springs TN last year. The Sony Pad at this store is off to say the least lol. No way a Bravia 3 would be at Chest Level with the premium TVs lol. The X80 was off to a side by itself. Our pad had the 85 X93 in the middle. X85 and X90 to the right and the A80L and A95L to the left of it.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Now the 2nd store was like a carbon copy of my store. We had the high end audio that use to be magnolia as well. I made the first comment not finishing the video.
Brian, we know the 83" S95F will probably come with QD tech, but do you think the more affordable 83" S90F will come with Quantum Dot technology next year? If not, do you think there is any chance will get MLA with the 83" LG C5 in 2025?
Excellent Question! I believe you'll still see a w oled from Samsung just to hurt LG on cost. Hopefully you'll have several choices at 83". You may just have the S95 going larger and leaving the S90 at 77" with an 83" w oled. But I hope not. I'm also guessing MLA on the C5. It's really LG'S only play.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Yep. The C series has always been a better value for most people, so if LG can bring MLA to that series (including the 83" size), they could seriously rock the boat.
Same here ...most I seen it drop was $300 a couple weeks ago and went back up.. I'm leaning towards S95D because of QD-Oled, 144hz gaming, 4 HDMI 2.1 inputs, More brightness, More saturated colors...I'm just not a Fan of the one connect box...I might just wait and see if they drop a 83" QD-Oled next year is what I really want
Let's see if Sony comes up with a Black Friday sale price for the 77" A95L. Also we have an exclusive promotion that gifts our clients with a 5%, ($500.) store credit, free Nationwide deliver, and one more very nice savings that we can discuss on the phone of by email if you like.
@@Ginopinzon yes I was hoping to price go down to around 4 thousand. But it seems like it’s not going down by 1000$. So I’m going with 65 inch and Sony Bravia quad theater.

I'm sticking with what I have.
@69Dartman nothing better then the Z9K out there my friend
Difference is that Costco, Sam's and BJs include 3 or 5 year warranties.
Although every thing points toward the s90d being better tv. I'm kind of having buyers remorse wishing I went with the C4. What are your thoughts?
I'm not sure why, my friend? The C4, while very good, is still a WOLED vs a QD-OLED . The C4 has Dolby Vision that's about it. Only the G4 can really beat the S90D. Enjoy your TV my friend
Hi, You would choose the S90D here in EU in 65inch with QD Panel or the C4 both cost the same, or pay 400€ more and get the G4 ?
80% for movies and 20% Gaming
G4 or Panasonic
Excellent question! The C4 is excellent but it's hard to be a QD-OLED without MLA . That said the G4 is more impressive then the S90D. The G4 is more vibrant, better processing and the best Dolby vision in the business
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY
Thank You so much you are really the best.🫶🤝
Yes I think the G4 is the best and the safest Option for me, I come from an LG GX Gallery Tv from 2020.
In your opinion is it worth it to jump from a 77 G3 to an 83 g4? I’m itching to go up a size, especially with the g4 hitting $4800 now…
For me it is as the 83" size is amazing. The G4 is also brighter with 144hz and the new Alpha 11 processor.
What’s your thoughts on the hisense 75” ads panels in the 7 & 8? Thinking of going 65” just because that ips panel but really would like to jump up to 75”
I have their 75" u8k from last year with ips panel and it's very good with local dimming on high
@ blacks are black? I can’t stand seeing letter box that is lifted. Current tcl 635 has very good blacks. I’ve read some say it’s fine like you, others say it’s not.
@@BB-xn1rwthose that say they are not are not setting up their tv's. They are reviewing them with settings out of the box.

We are decided on the S90D at 77inch and Q990D Soundbar.
Excellent set up! Enjoy!
The Samsung Crystal series is the best quality option which is an excellent value at 55". I believe rtings.com has reviews on those sets.
Whats your opinion of the tcl q6? Its in my budget..altho i do like the qm8
@@marklloyd4153 I'll definitely look into it😅😅
I ordered a 98 inch TCL last week from Costco.
@@danielramsey1959 awesome!!
For that specific use case, you may prefer the A80L as the processing is definitely better and the presets are more natural and accurate
@ thanks for the quick response-- youre the man!!
Never mind "you would have a hard time finding S90D "this good", in the Magnolia Room. That is irrelevant! What is relevant would be to find the Magnolia Room at the Lakeland,FL store! 😁
Clearly my local Best Buy Store doesn't have one.
I wish tv was that cheap here in Brazil.
Me too my friend. I hope all is well in Brazil and thank you for watching
Worth it to buy the 83” G4 for 5,000 or buy last years 83”G3 for 3,500?
For me the Alpha 11 processor and 144HZ is worth it.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Thank you!
@sabikha my pleasure!
Brian,
On the G4 when watching live football with an antenna why do the players have static or blurry / hazy around them when moving? How do you fix that?
Try going into the motion settings and use true cinema. As far as static on an antenna it could be the source
Brian, I turned on real cinema what would you recommend for tru motion. Thanks.
Get 83" G4 now for $4,500 or wait for 83" S95 QD Oled next year? Really need help with this one....
That's an amazing question! I'm actually waiting for the 83" QD-OLED to see how good it is. The G4 at 83" will still be there
Hey Brian is there any benefit to using streaming devices like an Apple TV or Nvidia shield with a premium TV like the Sony Bravia or LG models for better HDR performance, for example I love how Apple TV looks on my Sony but I can't stand The picture in almost any setting on the Netflix app?
Wow, that's some great choices my friend! I'd personally go with the 85" QM8. In my opinion if your going 98" it better be the best image it can be.
Some prefer ADS pro. However the QM8 is better then the U7N. The U8N is the natural match for the QM8. The U7N only beats the QM8 if it's larger .
@zr1cvette thank you so much for letting me know. Great comment and thank you for watching

@@1Aquadon ok then you'll be limited to Hisense and the highest end Sony’s

@12340786ful unfortunately it's still in high demand so a drop will be unlikely until it's replacement is released

Unfortunately, Panasonic is limited to Costco online and Amazon at this time. I have done several Panasonic reviews and more to come on this channel. Thank you for watching
Are you working on a new intro?
No, my friend, I'm a little busy filming all these TVs before CES.
Why do I see large expensive screens that look like a mirror besides the prices no 8K being very expensive the panels have not improved and the problems have not been addressed yet Blooming still looks like a mirror and the viewing angle is still very short it's a waste of money until a better panel comes out 🤔🤥🐽🐗🐖🐷
Ok , then I guess you'll be waiting many more years if you've seen zero improvement.
@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY In the last three years, prices have increased too much in relation to the improvement in technology and quality of televisions. Anyone who has a television in the last three years is not profitable to buy a television today. You have to wait another two years and hope that there is an improvement in prices and technology.
NO PANASONIC!!!
Unfortunately, Panasonic is limited to Amazon and some Costco's at the moment. However, I helped with their US launch and their are several vids and shorts on this channel and more to come.
