I visited in late spring. Stayed just outside the historic centre, near the escalators (5 sets of escalators to take you up to the centre). Since I don't sleep much, was already out by 5am just wandering about the centre. There's a nice shop that sells a huge variety of hats and caps. Got a few from there.
Siena, Pienza and San Gimiganno are absolutely amazing and Volterra. I was there a month ago and loved every bit. Watching you UA-cam brings back the trip!
Italian here, it's definitely my "favorite" town in the country and - even though I can list various plausible reasons - I don't completely grasp why; it's like it has a special charm on me. I also very much like the people there
Omg you’re so adorable! Loved the video. I visited this city years ago it’s so special to me. You’re articulate, informed and when you were eating the panino in the Campo…I felt like I was right there with you hehehe. Thanks for the vid!
Hi! You shot a very beautiful video, but I have 2 notes for you. The bank IS the oldest bank in the world(Monte dei Paschi di Siena), and....do you know what lampredotto is?😋
We just arrived after visiting Assisi and to be honest very disappointed. Quite dirty and very expensive…. Big tourist trap! Money changer ripped us off €200 to change some currency.

I felt the people were the warmest and kindest there out of the Italian cities I visited.
