- Critics of the Government's plans to deport asylum seekers to Rwanda say the country's record on human rights shows it isn't a safe place to send people.

A recent investigation by Human Rights Watch accuses the Rwandan government of trying to silence opponents - even those living overseas - using tactics ranging from kidnapping to extrajudicial killing.
The government in Kigali has denied the claims, calling it a "distorted picture of Rwanda which exists only in their imagination".

I don't care how safe it is for asylum seekers, what I hate about the deal is how much money we have wasted in thus,we could have placed security guards in France to stop the boats leaving EU shores,.
We could have hired more border force people to process the asylum claims quicker, and built more asylum centers, instead of relying on hotels.

Our country has had migrants from all over the world. Generally, migrants commit less crime, and those who do can be deported - unlike Brits who can't. Bigots will tell you that anyone from abroad is a threat, and they're too stupid to know that oru health system and care system rely on migrants. Without them, we just don't have enough people to care for the elderly. Pensions, too, would be cut significantly.
Less safe, because they are unvetted.
Good migrants pay about 5k which means they have background checks.
Instead its a flood of completely unskilled randoms who will demand a huge amount from our society to survive here but wont even want to do minimal work like seasonal fruit picking.
If you live in an area with extremely high migration levels from outside the eu, you can expect much higher rates of crime.
Why Rwanda? Aren't there other places to relocate refugees/migrants to?

I always lough when I hear UK politicians praising Rwanda as this heaven where they want to send asylum seekers as if the second coming of Jesus is happening for them. Most of us Rwandans know Kagame as a killer; the rest of the world see him as a visionary Leader. I guess time will tell us who is right but I can assure you that Kagame's fellow Rwandans know him better than anyone else.

The BRITISH supreme court ruled that Rwanda was unsafe I understood it was what we wanted the UK courts to decide matters in future

Migrants contribute massively to the staffing and income of this country. Go to any city hospital and you'll see how essential they are. We have a declining population. When you retire they will pay for you - and be there to care for you.
