FYI, on the HP Prime FTP server, you can download the HP Prime virtual calculator, which is an absolutely 1:1 copy of it, but since it runs on your computer it’s easy to record. And there’s also the connection software, which (among other things) actually streams the screen of your calculator to your computer over the USB cord. So that too could be screen recorded.

I was looking forward to a comparison between this and the TI-84 Plus CE. I love HP, especially their use of RPN, but I am interested in the TI, since it has such a following. May end up getting both.

I know this is a year old but for future readers, the TI-84 Plus CE is inferior in every way except community. The Nspire CX II CAS is TI’s closest competitor from TI

The whole purpose of an unboxing is to show everything in the container. You completely failed to do this.

Is it possible to calculate % ?

    • @tookitogo

There’s no key for it, but why would you need that? Bear in mind that this is a scientific calculator, so it doesn’t have dedicated financial functions, which is the only place a percent sign is typically of any use. (There is a finance app, but it’s quite basic.) If you want a calculator for finance, look at a dedicated financial calculator. (HP and TI make them for sure.)

@@tookitogo wth are you on🤔? Percentages are used everywhere lol. But it’s not really needed a button just for that as prob everyone that has one of those simply know how to manage percentages pretty easily with just multiplications and division
