Great list! I have a broadcast background & a few terms I had lost over the years. Altho I haven't even gotten my equipment yet, I've been checking out some outlets & was able to reason thru a few terms but not all.
Hey Bill! Just want to say that I've been eating up your videos! I'm currently selecting some book passages and ads to record, and will be making a few demos and a Fiverr profile soon. I wouldn't even entertain the thought if it wasn't for your work (I've been wanting to work with my voice, but had no idea where to start).

One question I have, is it OK to change words like “what is” to “what’s” and “that is” to “that’s”to make a script more conversational? Is the client going to be upset that I’m making these words contractions?
If someone has CNN in the background, they’re already hopeless.
