You are welcome!

Thanks!
I very much learnt a lot from this and would implement most of it in my playing. Thank you very much Mr Taylor.. oh and could you maybe do more on pentatonic runs and thier proper fingering
Hey Felix! Thank you so much. In regards to the fingering, I created a free pdf guide that includes the fingering for all of the pdfs. Definitely download that. The link is in the description box…
When you start the major scale on the seventh, that helps give it a Spanish feel, because of the semitone start. Although it's Locrian, it shares the semitone start with Phrygian, used frequently in traditional Spanish music.
Well said!
@@SkilledMusician They're lovely techniques, I'm trying to work them into songs. Thanks!
Nice! They really help open up the sound!

What tips do you have for those who have perfect pitch and have hard to read because they play it once and remember it?
Thanks for sharing!
Thanks so much, Ira! I don't believe there is any issue at all. Most really good musicians, whether they have perfect pitch or not, can play a piece of music one time and really understand it and have it down. So one tip is to focus on the detail. Many times we have the big picture, but we miss small details like the rhythm in the 15th bar of the song. Or we might miss the exact chord extension on the C7 chord in the 24th measure.
@@SkilledMusician Exactly! I start lose focus and stop paying attention to detail and the end up quitting.
I was thinking, maybe I should just start reading them like a book without playing?
That way I my hearing won't get in the way...
Thanks for the help Corey, really appreciate it man.
God Bless!

see? These are considered by guitar players to be double stops, including octaves. Usually I would play this scale in 4ths double stops. but I'm adding this in a particular way. Btw George Bnson is the undisputed king of double stops. He's just a phenomenal player. He and obviously Wes Montgomery are major influences on my playing. ( everyone who hears my playing says Wes).
I see! We always referred to Wes Montgomery’s style as playing octaves, but now I understand they are called Double Stops… Thank you for the clarity!
Sir, thank you. I watched youtube of Dorothy Taubman. I used to think it was all about fingers. Fingers are attached to hands, muscle to bome by tendons, lower arm and on up, etc. Subscribing you too.
Thank you so much!
Should do one on Oscar Peterson type two handed runs!
Great idea! I will definitely do a video on Oscar Peterson!
Hi! A tutorial on pentatonic improvisations
Great suggestion! Let me see what I can put together. In the meantime, check out my video "3 Scales Every Musician Should Know". In that video, I go pretty deep on improvisation using the pentatonic scale.
What's the advantage of playing this with two hands and not one? Because it's easier to play it fast?
Exactly!
That's great boss but how can I get the fingering

Sheer billiance.
Thanks Jonny!
The stank face I made during those runs is crazy! Lol. Love it
I appreciate you!
