- Watch Elaine Watson, Global Education Director at Light Elegance, introduce the newest, latest, and greatest to the product offering at Light Elegance: our Blink Tips.
We named them Blink Tips because they'll help you achieve length and strength in a BLINK
If you have a client who just needs a set for a short period of time you can apply the Blink Tips using our award-winning Jimmy gel system. Then you can soak them off and go back to doing natural nail manicures!
Got a client with one broken nail? BlinkTips are the perfect solution! They are compatible with the entire Light Elegance line of products.

I was so stoked you guys launched these! I agree that it’s awesome to have a well rounded line of products for those who are LE girlies!!
Ooh that's an interesting technique applying to the nail not the tip! Might try that
So - you do not apply any additional gel to the tip itself before application, only to the natural nail?
I do not. I learned this technique from a talented artist a few years ago and found my gel control (application amount and squeeze out at the free edge) was much much better.
Full cover . Nothing new. Young nails has them, Apres gel has them.
True. Each brand uses its own gels with its own tips. The LE Gel + LE tip combo makes it unique, just as it does for each brand.
They do! It is nice to get a good quality tip from a company that people love and are loyal to though. Plus, it just makes LE more well rounded with tons of great options and products 😊
I use Jimmy gel with full cover tips. I add a layee of Jimmy gel over the full cover tips and they last as long as hard gel extensions
Can you share your full process? I have flat nails so I feel a thin layer of Jimmy on nail only would cause the tip to really pull at the nail bed by forcing the nailtip to flatten when adhered. Also I’ve had my tips just pop off immediately and only the underlying Jimmy gel is still on nail! I’m def missing something! Ty!!!
Yes! JimmyGel is great with the BLINKTips!
Why is it only temporary? Would it last longer if you used extreme or another hard gel instead of jimmy gel? Also, the tutorial would be nice if you added polish. Do you need to buff or file the smooth surface to add polish?
I think you can apply Tack on top of the tip and then apply gel polish 😊
I apply a thin coat of hard gel and cure it before starting with this process. You can buff the full cover tips or gently wipe acetone over it or add tack before applying colour. Since buttercreams are applied thinly and is flexible it works well and prevents chipping at the tip as when applying P+ colours.
@@chaozinga Correct! More videos on the way :)
@@AdK_o_o_ Temporary applies because you can soak the JimmyGel + Tip off. You can not soak Lexy Line off. To apply color (P+, Buttercream, or Glitter Gel) first apply Tack to the entire tip, cure 60 seconds and then apply your color.
