Wow! I have been a tech for over 24 years, you have explained how to use these forms and some of the tricks in using them. I only do HEMA free gel now for myself as I am retired due to health issues which involve my hands. This will give me time to do my nails at my own pace and create lovely designs I can’t do anymore. I have a set of those dual forms and can’t wait to try this. Thank you so much for sharing your experience and advice.
We all get to an age when we can't work in a salon anymore but we still want fabulous nails ourselves, this tech is great. I agree 100% with you, make the nail ahead of time then apply!😊
Don’t listen to the people saying it’s too much work, they’re so beautiful and you can see the effort you put into your nails ! Thank you so much for showing us ! Everytime i try they lift for some reason and I use a dehydrator and primer and a base coat, what would you suggest because it’s usually acid free ones I use !
Actually this is great! is just like painting a fake nail then gluing them on, but in reverse. Better to mess up on a tip than messing up in the natural nail. Awesome tutorial ❤❤
Another stopper for fan here! That’s a brilliant tip. These turned out beautiful and no fiddling about on the nail with angles when doing your own! Lol
I don't do poly gel nails anymore. Seance full gel nail tips are faster and last longer for me, but this makes a lot of sense, and seems like fun I've learned alot in watching your video is it alot of work yes nails sometimes are but I find it relaxing when I do my nails 💅can't wait to watch some more of your videos 😊
Thank you so much for your kind words! I'm glad you found the video helpful and fun. It’s great to hear that you’re enjoying doing your own nails and finding it relaxing. I’ll definitely keep sharing more content, and I hope you continue to enjoy it! 💅😊
These have to be the loveliest reverse French nails that I’ve ever seen! Your tip (pun intended 😉) about using a darker jelly right at the smile line to define the shape for a very clean, crisp look is brilliant. Now I want to go re-do my 2 week manicure!!!
Love these, and would love to see the shell French also. Personally I would have preferred a more pink tone for the nail bed but fully acknowledge this is merely personal choice. Love your work.
Hi there, well done video, good content, good advice, very professional! Just one thing, I never heard about wiping the base coat before applying gel on, this will remove the bonding effect between them, unless you filed again this layer. Can you tell me why you did?
Just discovered your channel and loved your videos. The results are to die for. But, I don’t do gel as I don’t like exposing my fingers to the UV. Any tips to get such results with dip powder please? Or at least an in-depth nail prep so I can also have beautiful nails without the UV exposure. Thanks in advance. Keep growing ❤
I felt the same way and started to use gloves. I’ve purchased the nail gloves that are sold everywhere but there isn’t any SPF rating so I bought a brand of rubber gloves called “Gorilla Gloves” and are made by the same brand as Gorilla Glue. They make a glove that is 4mm and 6mm thick. Both are a minimum of SPF 50. You just cut the tips of fingers off. Best part you can wipe excess ANYTHING on your glove lol! Of course it is a one time use but much better than cheap “manicure “ gloves that I can see through! And YOU control the length of where tip is cut. Highly recommend AND I also put SPF cream on my hands prior to putting gloves on! It works and hands are protected and feel so soft after! Hope you try it as I’m loving my gel DIY nails and doing great! I follow Jai or Nails by Jai on YT and she is amazing! Be well❤❤❤❤❤
@@tovah2276 oh that’s a brilliant idea. Thank you so much. Though I couldn’t find the exact brand online here in the UK, the similar ones are £36. Too expensive for one time use. But, I’ll try to figure something out.
