Dr. Dre had vision. The fact that he wanted to bridge the hip hop world into more than just where young black men come from and understanding that all sorts of people struggle no matter their color is almost as influential as the classic civil rights speakers of the past. Knowing music is the ultimate cure for hate is just genius to me. Plus the Dre and Eminem clicking like they did was amazing. You can hear Eminem all over that 2001 album. Not just his voice, but his style and lyrics and creativity
Em also wrote Forgot about Dre, whole song including Dre’s verses. I know he was also involved with a few tracks that Em didn’t feature in, but helped write them.

I had no idea Dre almost died. I am so glad he made it. He is one of the most talented producers and MCs to ever do it. He deserves every ounce of fame and fortune he had.

Yep. The greatest hip hop producer of all time and a good rapper/lyricist as well. The Chronic 2001 is one of the greatest albums in music (not just hip hop) full stop, the production, the artists featured, the skits. Everything ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Dr. Dre and Eminem have a unbelievable business relationship as well as a friendship. Their friendship goes back to the late 90s where Dre was done with the gangster stuff and look for some talent. He found his magic in Eminem and took his chance on him. Dre calls Eminem one of the greatest rappers that ever lived. Eminem will forever be thankful for Dr. Dre for taking his talents to him and never letting him down. Dr. Dre have worked with him on every Eminem’s albums. Whether spit a verse or just produce several tracks for him!

Whenever I hear Eminems music I go back to the earliest 2000 when I was a little kid, sunday morning, eating cereal, and my older brother was watching music tv channels, em's videos comes on screen and we really enjoyed.. Those were the times....

Sorry, correction on the Snoop beef: You left out the very last sentence where Snoop said he could live without Eminem's whole catalougue. That's what triggered Eminem to respond. He made that very clear in an interview after the Zeus track came out.

I was there for it all. Bought Eminem’s first album (cassette) from a small shop on Melrose Ave near my house in Los Angeles before he signed with Dre. Then I worked for Interscope in 1996 when Aftermath was born. Got to see the album art before it was released! Also when Gwen Stefani and No Doubt joined Interscope. Good times 😊

I remember first hearing Marshall Mathers in 90 or 91. He was on tape with Redhead Kingpin. Fell in love with them both then. Then a year or so later I hear him as Em on the radio. I was having arguments everywhere saying that this Em was Marshall.... Funny I was proven right a few more years on... Still a massive NWA & EM fan
