In this Broadcast Award-winning, BAFTA and Emmy Award-nominated entertainment show, Taskmaster tyrant Greg Davies (Man Down, Cuckoo), with the help of his loyal assistant Alex Horne (The Horne Section and the show’s creator), sets out to test the wiles, wit and wisdom of five hyper-competitive comedians.
Comedians that have risked life, limb, and dignity in the hope of making the Taskmaster proud so far include: Frank Skinner (The Frank Skinner Show), Mel Giedroyc (The Great British Bake Off), Romesh Ranganathan (Asian Provocateur), Hugh Dennis (Outnumbered), Sally Phillips (Bridget Jones’ Diary), Rose Matafeo (Edinburgh Comedy Award Winner 2018), and Russell Howard (The Russell Howard Hour). Unaware of what awaits them in each wax-sealed envelope, only one competitor can become the victorious owner of His Royal Task-ness’ golden head and be crowned the next Taskmaster Champion.

I can't believe we've gotten 41 minutes of outtakes from this series - I'm here for all of them (and maybe a Part 4 to come before the series ends?). I thought Nick trying to shuffle away encased in his prison of pool rings was hilarious in the show, but then watching Greg lift him up to save him in the outtakes was even funnier. I think Greg and Nick really need to do some kind of project together.

You know Alex really messed up when even John thinks his opening section is awful. After he laughed at the Porsche/porch thing.

Greg lifting Nick up is the best thing I've seen this day, nay, this week! Especially right after the episode where Nick sings into Greg's ear😂
I don't know if the episodes or the bloopers are the best part of this series. Also Nick Mohammed seems so lovely: I genuinely enjoy his interactions with Greg.
I've rarely seen Greg so charmed by one of the contestants.

Now I know why the opening banter was cut from the latest episode.
As soon as I noticed there was no banter, I wondered if it was going to be in the outtakes, and here we are.
Yeah, I noticed it wasn't there as well and assumed it was cut for time, which it was but never thought of it being so bad as well. Although if it annoys Greg so much (which is the point of it), does that make it good?

@@Elwaves2925 To be fair, Alex made worse ones (which, again, is the point), it's just he really got Greg with this one and it ended up being too long to justify its own existence.
alex's oddball persona is starting to grow on me. love how he made fun of gregg being able to play a c on the guitar, after recently learning alex wrote the brilliant taskmaster theme song, downloading the sheet music.
Everything about The Horne Section is brilliant

I feel like this series, Nick and John are like Greg's little kids. Nick is the toddler while John is slightly older and always tries so hard to impress his big daddy with his school work.

Joanne and Sophie are the cool wine aunts and Steve is the eccentric grandad.

Can't believe they didn't keep in the part where Greg effortlessly lifted Nick out of the float rings. Also, major respect to Nick for buying the latest Sleepy Hollow box set release. I'm delighted he's as big a fan of Danny Elfman as I am.

Someone once said Greg has a crush on Nick, and I genuinely can't stop thinking about it everytime they interact.
Who said it? Also, yeah, I can totally see it. Nick is very cute and twinkly eyed, and Greg does really seem to like short men. 😊

It amuses me to no end how much greg is actually baffled by Alex, even after being friends for so long, Alex still finds a way to surprise him
Nick and Greg have great new friend chemistry.
I thought Greg was being a bit overbearing interrupting and heckling Alex in the mid of his bits throughout the series, but then I see this freaking Pep Pizza stuff and am like oh god Greg was actually saving us all along!!!
Greg has been just letting the "joke fart" sit in the air more and more recently, I think he's figured out the way to make Alex rather uncomfortable as well.
Alex truly is a weird little troll man, he enjoys telling jokes that are just rancid and terminally unfunny, in order to provoke an actually funny response from a roomful of comedians. Greg has figured out how to make Alex self-conscious about the terribleness: by dragging the bit out for as long as he can, and breaking the fourth wall about how the bit sucks intentionally.
series 17 is really golden i can’t lie

I was just shocked at the juxtaposition of Nick's tiny head against Greg enormous head when Nick was humming Sleepy Hollow to him. Initially I thought wow I've never realized that Greg has such a huge head.

On another note, I saw Danny Elfman in concert and all his tim burton scores are great and a lot have the choir "ahhhh" bits.

Really needed this. My boss decided literally doing his job was "micromanaging" so he yelled at me (and ultimately everyone else who didn't jump in and do his job for him) for him getting behind.
I get to spend time with my people (you guys) and laugh at Taskmaster.
